wa anta almuqilu `athrati

You alone overlook my slips.

falaka alhamdu

So, all praise be to You.

wa anta almun`ishu sar`ati

You alone revive my deterioration.

falaka alhamdu

So, all praise be to You.

salli `ala muhammadin wa ali muhammadin

(Please do) send blessings upon Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad

wastur `awrati

and conceal my defects,

wa amin raw`ati

and secure my apprehensions,

wa aqilny `athrati

and oversee my slips,

wasfah `an jurmi

and pardon my offenses,

wa tajawaz `an sayyi’aty

and overlook my evildoings

fi ashabi aljannati

and include me with the People of Paradise;

wa `da alssdqi alladhy kanu yu`aduna

the promise of truth which they were promised.

When you finish the prayer, you should recite Surahs of al-Fatihah, al-Tawhid, al-Falaq, al-Nas, al-Kafirun, al-Qadr, and Ayat al-Kursiy seven times. You should then repeat the following seven times:

la ilaha illa allahu

There is no god save Allah;

wallahu akbaru

Allah is the Most Great;

wa subhana allahi

Glory be to Allah;

wa lahawla wa la quwwata illa billahi

and there is neither might nor power save with Allah.

You should then say the following seven times:

Allah, Allah is my Lord. I associate none with Him.

allahu allahu rabby la ‘ushriku bihi shay’an

After that, you may submit your needs.

The Supplication on the Divine Mission Day    Mp3

As is mentioned in ‘Iqbal al-A`mal’ and some manuscripts of ‘Misbah al-Mutahajjid’, it is recommended to recite the following supplication on this day: This supplication, which is one of the excellent supplications of Rajab, was recited by Imam Musa ibn Ja`far al-Kazim (a.s) on the day when the ruling authorities took him to Baghdad. That day was the twenty-seventh of Rajab

ya man amara bil`afui wal-ttjauuzi

O He Who has ordered us to forgive and overlook

wa ¤ammana nafsahu al`afwa wal-ttjauuza

and has taken upon Himself to forgive and overlook!

ya man `afa wa tajawaza

O He Who did forgive and overlook:

i`fu `anni wa tajawaz ya karimu

(please do) forgive me and overlook (my evildoings) O the All-generous.

allahumma wa qad akda alttalabu

O Allah: surely, all requests have been rejected,

wa a`iyati alhilatu wal-madhhabu

and all means and ways have been inaccessible,

wa darasati alamalu

and all hopes have been eradicated,

wanqata`a alrraja‘u illa minka

and all expectations have been cut off from everybody save You

wahdaka la sharika laka

alone, there is no partner with You.

allahumma inni ajidu subula almatalibi ilayka mushra`atan

O Allah: I find the ways to requesting from You wide open,

wa manahila alrraja‘i ladayka mutra`atan

and springs of hoping for You quenching,

wa abwaba aldd`a‘i liman da`aka mufatthatan

and doors of supplication unlocked for him who implores You,

wal-asti`anata limani asta`ana bika mubahatan

and Your aid available for those who seek it.

wa a`lamu annka lida`ika bimaw¤i`i ijabatin

I also know that You are in the position of response for him who beseeches You,

wa lilssarikhi ilayka bimarsadi ighathatin

and in the position of relief for him who resorts to You,

wa ann fi allahfi ila judika wal-zamani bi`idatika

and that hastening to Your magnanimity and the reliance upon Your promise

`iwa¤an min man`i albakhilina

compensate from the stinginess of the misery ones

wa manduhatan `amma fi aydy almustathirina

and suffice from that which is grasped by the mean ones.

wa annka la tahtajibu `an khalqika

And [I know for sure] that You never screen Yourself against Your beings

illa an tahjubahumu ala`malu dunaka

but it is their evildoings that prevent them from journeying toward You.

wa qad `alimtu ann af¤ala zadi alrrahili ilayka `azmu iradatin

I have also known for sure that the best provisions of his who intends to travel to You is a true willpower by which He chooses You among others.

yakhtaruka biha wa qad najaka bi`azmi aliradati qalbi

Hence, my heart has called at You with full willpower;

wa as-aluka bikull da`watin da`aka biha rajin ballghtahu amalahu

and I pray You in the name of all supplications said by a hopeful and thus You have achieved his hope,

aw sarikhun ilayka aghathta sarkhatahu

or said by a seeker of aid and thus You have admitted his request,

aw malhufun makrubun farrjta karbahu

or said by an aggrieved, depressed one and thus You have relieved him,

aw mudhnibun khatiiun ghafarta lahu

or said by a guilty sinner and thus You have forgiven him,

aw mu`afan atmamta ni`mataka `alayhi

or said by a healthy one and thus You have perfected Your favors on him,

aw faqirun ahdayta ghinaka ilayhi

or said by a poor one and thus You have conferred upon him with Your wealth,

wa litilka aldd`wati `alayka haqq wa `indaka manzilatun

and that these supplications occupy a considerable position with You and enjoy a standing with You—

illa sallayta `ala muhammadin wa ali muhammadin

I pray You to send blessings upon Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad

wa qa¤ayta hawa’ijy hawa’ija alddunya wal-akhirati

and to settle all my needs for this world and the Next World.

wa hadha rajabun almurajjabu almukarramu

This is Rajab, the honored and dignified month,

alladhy akramtana bihi awulu ash-huri alhurumi

which You have honored us through it, being the first of the Sacred Months,

akramtana bihi min bayni ala’umami

and You have selected us for this honor among the other nations.

ya dhaljudi wal-karami

O the Lord of Magnanimity and Generosity.

fanasaluka bihi wa bismika ala`zami ala`zami ala`zami

I thus beseech You by Your Name, the grandest, the grandest, the grandest,

al-ajalli alakrami

the most majestic, the most honorable,

alladhy khalaqtahu fastaqarr fi zillka

that You have created so that it has settled under Your Shadow

fala yakhruju minka ila ghayrika

and it thus shall never transfer to anyone other than You—

an tusalliya `ala muhammadin wa ahli baytihi alttahirina

I beseech You to send blessings upon Muhammad and his Household, the immaculate,

wa taj`alana mina al`amilina fihi bita`atika

and to include us, during this month, with those who practice acts of obedience to You

wal-amilina fihi bishafa`atika

and those who hope for Your admission.

allahumma wahdina ila sawa‘i alssabili

O Allah: (please do) lead us to the Right Path,

and choose for us the best resting-place with You, under a dense shade

fa’innaka hasbuna wa ni`ma alwakilu

and abundant possession. Surely, You are Sufficient for us! Most Excellent are You, and in You do we trust!

wa salla allahu `ala muhammadin wa alihi wa sallama

May Allah bless and exalt Muhammad and his Household.

=As is mentioned in ‘Iqbal al-A`mal’, it is recommended to recite the supplication of the 27th Rajab night given above in the day as well.

source  www.al-mubin.org  Understand the greatness of the night and day of the 27thof Rajab.

The most important thing that can be done on this day is to Understand the greatness of the night and day of the 27th of Rajab.
There is no person greater or higher in rank than the Messenger of Allah (blessings of Allah be upon him and his progeny). He is the leader of all of the creations and the noblest and closest of all of them to Allah (Glorified and Exalted is He) and the most beloved of Allah (Glorified and Exalted is He)!
It is the Prophet Muhammad (blessings of Allah be upon him and his progeny) who is: The First Nur, The Closest Hijab (to Allah), The Greatest Name (of Allah) and there is not a single Prophet or Angel who can even come close to this station. He is also the Mercy to all the Worlds. Therefore, if we see the greatness of an individual and his nobility then we can realize the importance of the day of his official appointment. It is because of this reason that the importance of giving the Prophet (blessings of Allah be upon him and his progeny) his right is even more important for the Ummah and the Shi`a just as our intelligence dictates.
Just think about what has been said ñ do we accept this? If we accept it then we must take this day seriously and there is nothing else that needs to be said to encourage anyone about this day. Since goodness ñ in itself ñ should pull and attract one to that which is recommended to be done on this day. If what has been said is not accepted, then either we are out of the folds of Islam or our hearts must be corrected so that we can permit Iman (true faith) to enter it.
However, we suspect that the majority of Muslims who fall short and do not recognize the importance and greatness of this day is not because they do not have faith ñ may Allah protect us from this ñ rather, it is due to being immersed and engrossed in the beauties and attractions of this despicable world and being deluded by it. We are so busy in competing with one another to gain material pleasures that we are completely oblivious of everything else and when the time comes that we see our grave in front of us, will we remain in this state of heedlessness! The remembrance of this world has caused the hearts of such people to be negligent of the remembrance of Allah (Glorified and Exalted is He) and to forget their creation and their eventual end.
In summary, the Salik (the one who is spiritually traveling towards Allah) must sincerely try to consider this day as something great and seek to understand and appreciate the blessings of the official appointment and the blessing of the divine light (nur) and all the blessings that the Prophet of Islam (blessings of Allah be upon him and his progeny) has brought including the happiness and goodness - just as he deserves to be understood and appreciated.
We must all look into ourselves and gauge our own happiness on this day. If we see that our happiness and pleasure is the same on this day or more as it is on other days for worldly events and pleasures, then we know that our soul is polluted and we must try to correct it and strive to remove the animalistic traits in us ñ we must try to distance ourselves from the natural world and its pleasures and move closer to the spiritual world and its divine light (nur).

In closing we mention one final point in regards to this day and that is that after these supplications are finished, we should sit back and think about the days of Ignorance before the Bi`that of the Prophet and see what a state mankind had reached to.
A group of people were Jews; another group Christians; and yet others were idol worshippers. The laws of Islam had been forgotten; people had lost the etiquette of humanity and acted as wild animals. The people had reached to such a low state that they used to bury their new born daughters alive. They took pride in vain talk and activities; did not practice justice in the least and took the rights of other people around them. The strong were subjecting the weak to oppression such that they destroyed the worth and dignity of a person. They hated Scholars and were weary of intelligent people. They took pride in keeping slaves. The broke off all family
relations, were busy in gambling and drinking alcohol and were constantly at war with one another. Self gratification and pride were their characteristics and they boasted of being impatient people! Cursing and evil words were common place and vain talk, including lies, back biting, etc were the norm. They killed the Prophets and their successors and helpers, and in their place they permitted the lowest amongst themselves to lead the society!
In such an environment did Allah raise a Prophet for the task of, as it is mentioned in the Quran: It is He who has sent to the illiterate a Messenger from among their own people to recite to them His revelations and purify them.
He will teach the Book to them Wisdom even though before this they were in manifest error. Insha-Allah, may Allah accept all of our acts of worship on this day and all days of the months of Rajab, Sha`ban
