“Glory be to Him who bestowed His Mercy on me and extends it by His Will. Then He extends it to His Blessings and Bestowals to clarify His creation to the onlookers, and clarify the fine details of His Wisdom to those who ponder.
I bear witness that there is no God but Him. He is One and there are no partners for Him. He has created things without any assistance, and He does all His Deeds by Himself without any supporters. The hearts know Him by their inner feelings and the minds do so by their thoughts. The souls know Him by their inner self-seeking His Knowledge. The intellects have sought Him by intelligence and that has obeyed Him. As He is Near, All Hearing, Present and Sublime.
O‟ my God! This is the brightest and the most brilliant night of Your month since You have brought out the full moon whose light covers all Your earth.
It is the night of the fourteenth day of Ramadhan and the first night of the last fourteen days. O‟ my God! Please extend the light of Your Forgivenss for me on it and push off and withdraw the darkness of Your Wrath from me.
O‟ my God! Your Generosity and Blessings improve my hope, Your Protection relieves my mind. You earn no profit from my loss so I cannot accuse You of earning a lot of profit. You suffer no loss from my earning a profit so I cannot be ashamed of asking for Your loss. Then how could One who does not need the servants to pardon Him and is not in dire need of pardon be stingy.
And how could He let him proceed on the path to deviation and loss while He himself has guided him. No. You are nobler than to let this happen. O‟ my Guardian! You are much more nobler and kinder than to let this happen. O‟ my God! Please let this night end for me in a good deed that shall please You, and its good scent shall please me in the Hereafter, and shall result in Your Approval of my pardoning in the beginning and end of the month.
O‟ the Most Compassionate, Most Merciful. O‟ Compassionate! O‟ Merciful! Please bestow many Blessings on the Prophet Muhammad and his Progeny (as) and send greetings to them many times.”
3.Night Dua- Muhammad ibn Abi Qarrih book Amal-i-Shahr-i-Ramadhan 14th
“O‟ my God! Please do not discipline me with Your Punishment.
Do not subject me to Your Planned Strategy.
Where can I obtain bounties while none can be found except with You?
And how can I seek salvation while it can be granted by none but You?
Neither can good-doers do without You, nor can evil-doers depart from the realm of Your Power!
I know You by You, and You directed me to You and without You I would not have known what You are.
Praise be to God who answers me whenever I call Him, even though I am sluggish when He calls upon me.
And praise be to God who grants me whatever I ask for even though I am stingy when He asks me for a loan.
And praise be to God Who honored me by taking charge of my affairs, instead of leaving my affairs to others who may humiliate me.
And praise be to God Who endeared me although He is needless of me.
O‟ my God! I find no one to intercede with You on my behalf except for my knowledge that You are the best to whom the distressed ones go to.
I ask You while I am confessing to the fact that You are the Lord of Bestowals and Strength, Might and Power.
I ask You to lift the heavy burden of sins that has bent my back, protect me from lust that is overpowering my intellect, and let me be amongst those that You have chosen for Your Obedience.”
