|
صَدَقَ ٱللَّهُ ٱلْعَظِيمُ |
�adaqa all�hu al`a��mu |
True
are the words of Allah, the All-great. |
|
ٱلَّذِي لاَ إِلٰهَ إِلاَّ هُوَ |
alladh� l�
il�ha ill�
huwa |
There
is no god save Him, |
|
ٱلْحَيُّ ٱلْقَيُّومُ |
al�ayyu alqayy�mu |
the
Ever-living, the Eternal, |
|
ذُو
ٱلْجَلالِ وَٱلإِكْرَامِ |
dhuljal�li wal-ikr�mi |
The
Lord of Majesty and Honor, |
|
ٱلرَّحْمٰنُ ٱلرَّحِيمُ |
alrra�m�nu alrra��mu |
the
All-beneficent, the All-merciful, |
|
ٱلْحَلِيمُ ٱلْكَرِيمُ |
al�al�mu alkar�mu |
the
Forbearing, the All-generous. |
|
ٱلَّذِي لَيْسَ كَمِثْلِهِ شَيْءٌ |
alladh� laysa kamithlih� shay'un |
There
is nothing like Him, |
|
وَهُوَ ٱلسَّمِيعُ ٱلْعَلِيمُ |
wa huwa alssam�`u al`al�mu |
and
He is the All-hearing, the All-knowing, |
|
ٱلْبَصِيرُ ٱلْخَبِيرُ |
alba��ru alkhab�ru |
the
All-seeing, the All-aware. |
|
شَهِدَ ٱللَّهُ انَّهُ
لاَ إِلٰهَ إِلاَّ هُوَ |
shahida all�hu annah� l�
il�ha ill�
huwa |
Allah
bears witness that there is no god but He, |
|
وَٱلْمَلائِكَةُ وَاوْلُو
ٱلْعِلْمِ |
walmal�'ikatu wa ul� al`ilmi |
and
(so do) the angels and those possessed of knowledge,
|
|
قَائِماً بِٱلْقِسْطِ |
q�'iman bilqis�i |
maintaining His creation with justice. |
|
لاَ
إِلٰهَ إِلاَّ هُوَ ٱلْعَزِيزُ ٱلْحَكِيمُ |
l�
il�ha ill�
huwa
al`az�zu al�ak�mu |
There
is no god but He, the Mighty, the Wise. |
|
وَبَلَّغَتْ رُسُلُهُ ٱلْكِرَامُ |
wa ballaghat rusuluh� alkir�mu |
His
noble Messengers have conveyed the mission |
|
وَانَا
عَلَىٰ ذٰلِكَ مِنَ ٱلشَّاهِدِينَ |
wa ana
`al�
dh�lika min alshsh�hid�na |
and I
am of those who bear witness to that. |
|
اللَّهُمَّ لَكَ ٱلْحَمْدُ |
all�humma laka al�amdu |
O
Allah, to You belongs praise, |
|
وَلَكَ ٱلْمَجْدُ |
wa laka almajdu |
to
You belongs glory, |
|
وَلَكَ ٱلْعِزُّ |
wa laka al`izzu |
to
You belongs might, |
|
وَلَكَ ٱلْفَخْرُ |
wa laka alfakhru |
to
You belongs pride, |
|
وَلَكَ ٱلْقَهْرُ |
wa laka alqahru |
to
You belongs supreme power, |
|
ولَكَ ٱلنِّعْمَةُ |
wlaka alnni`matu |
to
You belong bounties, |
|
وَلَكَ ٱلْعَظَمَةُ |
wa laka al`a�amatu |
to
You belongs greatness, |
|
وَلَكَ ٱلرَّحْمَةُ |
wa laka alrra�matu |
to
You belongs mercy, |
|
وَلَكَ ٱلْمَهَابَةُ |
wa laka almah�batu |
to
You belongs reverence, |
|
وَلَكَ ٱلسُّلْطَانُ |
wa laka alssul��nu |
to
You belongs sovereignty, |
|
وَلَكَ ٱلْبَهَاءُ |
wa laka albah�'u |
to
You belongs beauty, |
|
وَلَكَ ٱلاِمْتِنَانُ |
wa laka al-imtin�nu |
to
You belongs benevolence, |
|
وَلَكَ ٱلتَّسْبِيحُ |
wa laka alttasb��u |
to
You belongs glorification, |
|
وَلَكَ ٱلتَّقْدِيسُ |
wa laka alttaqd�su |
to
You belongs holiness, |
|
وَلَكَ ٱلتَّهْلِيلُ |
wa laka alttahl�lu |
to
You belongs the confession of Your being the One and Only God, |
|
وَلَكَ ٱلتَّكْبِيرُ |
wa laka alttakb�ru |
to
You belongs the confession of Your being the most Great Lord, |
|
وَلَكَ مَا يُرَىٰ |
wa laka m�
yur� |
to
You belongs that which is seen, |
|
وَلَكَ مَا لاَ يُرَىٰ |
wa laka m�
l�
yur� |
to
You belongs that which is not seen, |
|
وَلَكَ مَا فَوْقَ ٱلسَّمَاوَاتِ ٱلْعُلَىٰ |
wa laka m�
fawqa alssam�w�ti al`ul� |
to
You belongs that which is far above the high heavens, |
|
وَلَكَ مَا تَحْتَ ٱلثَّرَىٰ |
wa laka m�
ta�ta alththar� |
to
You belongs that which is deep down under the abyss, |
|
وَلَكَ ٱلارَضُونَ
ٱلسُّفْلَىٰ |
wa laka al-ara��na alssufl� |
to
You belong the worlds below the heavens, |
|
وَلَكَ ٱلآخِرَةُ وَٱلاولَىٰ |
wa laka al-�khiratu wal-�l� |
to
You belong the end and the beginning, |
|
وَلَكَ مَا تَرْضَىٰ بِهِ مِنَ ٱلثَّنَاءِ وَٱلْحَمْدِ |
wa laka m�
tar��
bih�
min alththan�'i wal�amdi |
and
to You is all thanks, all praise, |
|
وَٱلشُّكْرِ وَٱلنَّعْمَاءِ |
walshshukri walnni`m�'i |
all
gratitude, and all bliss as much as it pleases You. |
|
اَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَىٰ جَبْرَئِيلَ |
all�humma �alli `al�
jabra'�la |
O
Allah, (please do) send blessings to (Archangel) Gabriel, |
|
امِينِكَ
عَلَىٰ وَحْيِكَ |
am�nika `al�
wa�yika |
the
trustee on Your revelations, |
|
وَٱلْقَوِيِّ عَلَىٰ امْرِكَ |
walqawiyyi `al�
amrika |
the
firm in conveying Your orders, |
|
وَٱلْمُطَاعِ فِي سَمَاوَاتِكَ وَمَحَالِّ كَرَامَاتِكَ |
walmu��`i f� sam�w�tika wa ma��lli kar�m�tika |
the
obeyed in Your heavens and the places where Your honoring lies, |
|
ٱلْمُتَحَمِّلِ لِكَلِمَاتِكَ |
almuta�ammili likalim�tika |
the
bearer of Your Words, |
|
ٱلنَّاصِرِ لانْبِيَائِكَ |
alnn��iri li-anbiy�'ika |
the
supporter of Your Prophets, |
|
ٱلْمُدَمِّرِ لاعْدَائِكَ |
almudammiri li-a`d�'ika |
and
the terminator of Your enemies. |
|
اَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَىٰ مِيكَائِيلَ |
all�humma �alli `al�
m�k�'�la |
O
Allah, (please do) send blessings to (Archangel) Michael, |
|
مَلَكِ رَحْمَتِكَ |
malaki ra�matika |
the
angel of Your mercy, |
|
وَٱلْمَخْلُوقِ لِرَافَتِكَ |
walmakhl�qi lira'fatika |
the
one created for (showing) Your kindness, |
|
وَٱلْمُسْتَغْفِرِ ٱلْمُعِينِ لاهْلِ
طَاعَتِكَ |
walmustaghfiri almu`�ni li-ahli ��`atika |
and
the one seeking forgiveness and assisting the people of
obedience to You. |
|
اَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَىٰ إِسْرَافِيلَ |
all�humma �alli `al�
isr�f�la |
O
Allah, (please do) send blessings to Seraph, |
|
حَامِلِ عَرْشِكَ |
��mili `arshika |
the
bearer of Your Throne, |
|
وَصَاحِبِ ٱلصُّوْرِ |
wa ���ibi al���ri |
the
one in charge of the Trumpet (that declares the Resurrection
Day), |
|
ٱلْمُنْتَظِرِ لامْرِكَ |
almunta�iri li-amrika |
the
one waiting for Your order, |
|
ٱلْوَجِلِ ٱلْمُشْفِقِ مِنْ خِيفَتِكَ |
alwajili almushfiqi min kh�fatika |
and
the one apprehensive and fearful of You. |
|
اَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَىٰ حَمَلَةِ ٱلْعَرْشِ ٱلطَّاهِرِينَ |
all�humma �alli `al�
�amalati al`arshi al���hir�na |
O
Allah, (please do) send blessings to the pure angels who bear
Your Throne, |
|
وَعَلَىٰ ٱلسَّفَرَةِ ٱلْكِرَامِ |
wa `al�
alssafarati alkir�mi |
upon
the scribes; the noble, |
|
ٱلْبَرَرَةِ ٱلطَّيِّبِينَ |
albararati al��ayyib�na |
the
virtuous, and the immaculate, |
|
وَعَلَىٰ مَلائِكَتِكَ ٱلْكِرَامِ ٱلْكَاتِبِينَ |
wa `al�
mal�'ikatika alkir�mi alk�tib�na |
upon
Your angels; the virtuous recorders (of the deeds), |
|
وَعَلَىٰ مَلائِكَةِ ٱلْجِنَانِ |
wa `al�
mal�'ikati aljin�ni |
upon
the angels of the gardens of Paradise, |
|
وَخَزَنَةِ ٱلنِّيرَانِ |
wa khazanati alnn�r�ni |
upon
the keepers of Hellfire, |
|
وَمَلَكِ ٱلْمَوْتِ وَٱلاعْوَانِ |
wa malaki almawti wal-a`w�ni |
and
upon the Angel of Death and his assistants. |
|
يَا
ذَا ٱلْجَلاَلِ وَٱلإِكْرَامِ |
y�
dhaljal�li wal-ikr�mi |
O
Lord of Majesty and Honor! |
|
اَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَىٰ ابِينَا
آدَمَ |
all�humma �alli `al�
ab�n�
�dama |
O
Allah, (please do) send blessings to our father Adam: |
|
بَدِيعِ فِطْرَتِكَ |
bad�`i f��ratika |
the
foremost of Your creation |
|
ٱلَّذِي كَرَّمْتَهُ بِسُجُودِ مَلائِكَتِكَ |
alladh� karramtah� bisuj�di mal�'ikatika |
whom
You honored by making Your angels prostrate themselves before
him, |
|
وَابَحْتَهُ
جَنَّتَكَ |
wa aba�tah� janntaka |
and
whom You allowed to dwell in Your Paradise. |
|
اَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَىٰ
امِّنَا
حَوَّاءَ |
all�humma �alli `al�
ummin�
�aww�'a |
O
Allah, (please do) send blessings to our mother Eve: |
|
ٱلْمُطَهَّرَةِ مِنَ ٱلرِّجْسِ |
almu�ahharati min alrrijsi |
the
purified from filth, |
|
ٱلْمُصَفَّاةِ مِنَ ٱلدَّنَسِ |
almu�aff�ti min alddanasi |
the
cleaned from dirt, |
|
ٱلْمُفَضَّلَةِ مِنَ ٱلإِنْسِ |
almufa��alati min al-insi |
the
favorite from among the humankind, |
|
ٱلْمُتَرَدِّدَةِ بَيْنَ مَحَالِّ ٱلْقُدْسِ |
almutaraddidati bayna ma��lli alqudsi |
and
the allowed to visit the places of sanctity. |
|
اَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَىٰ هَابِيلَ وَشَيْثٍ |
all�humma �alli `al�
h�b�la wa shaythin |
O
Allah, (please do) send blessings to Abel, Shayth, |
|
وَإِدْرِيسَ وَنُوحٍ |
wa idr�sa wa n��in |
Idr�s,
Noah, |
|
وَهُودٍ وَصَالِحٍ |
wa h�din wa ��li�in |
H�d,
��li�, |
|
وَإِبْرَاهِيمَ وَإِسْمَاعِيلَ |
wa ibr�h�ma wa ism�`�la |
Abraham, Ishmael, |
|
وَإِسْحَاقَ وَيَعْقُوبَ |
wa is��qa wa ya`q�ba |
Isaac, Jacob, |
|
وَيُوسُفَ وَٱلاسْبَاطِ |
wa y�sufa wal-asb��i |
Joseph, the Tribes, |
|
وَلُوطٍ وَشُعَيْبٍ |
wa l��in wa shu`aybin |
Lot,
Shu`ayb, |
|
وَايُّوْبَ
وَمُوسَىٰ |
wa ayy�ba wa m�s� |
Job,
Moses, |
|
وَهَارُونَ وَيُوشَعَ |
wa h�r�na wa y�sha`a |
Aaron, Joshua, |
|
وَمِيشَا وَٱلْخِضْرِ |
wa m�sh�
walkhi�ri |
Micah, al-Khi�r, |
|
وَذِي ٱلْقَرْنَيْنِ وَيُونُسَ |
wa dh� alqarnayni wa y�nusa |
Dhu�l-Qarnayn (the two-horned), Jonah, |
|
وَإِلْيَاسَ وَٱلْيَسَعَ |
wa ily�sa walyasa`a |
Elias, Elisa, |
|
وَذِي ٱلْكِفْلِ وَطَالُوتَ |
wa dh� alkifli wa ��l�ta |
Dhu�l-Kifl, Saul, |
|
وَدَاوُودَ وَسُلَيْمَانَ |
wa d�w�da wa sulaym�na |
David, Solomon, |
|
وَزَكَرِيَّا وَشَعْيَا |
wa zakariyy�
wa
sha`y� |
Zachariah, Shayah, |
|
وَيَحْيَىٰ وَتُورَخَ |
wa ya�y�
wa
t�rakha |
John,
Turakh, |
|
وَمَتَّىٰ وَإِرْمِيَا |
wa matt�
wa
irmiy� |
Matthias, Jeremiah, |
|
وَحَيْقُوقَ وَدَانِيَالَ |
wa �ayq�qa wa d�ny�la |
Habakkuk, Daniel, |
|
وَعُزَيْرٍ وَعِيسَىٰ |
wa `uzayrin wa `�s� |
Ezra,
Jesus, |
|
وَشَمْعُونَ وَجِرْجِيسَ |
wa sham`�na wa jirj�sa |
Simon, Georges, |
|
وَٱلْحَوَارِيِّينَ وَٱلاتْبَاعِ |
wal�aw�riyy�na wal-atb�`i |
the
Apostles, the Followers, |
|
وَخَالِدٍ وَحَنْظَلَةَ وَلُقْمَانَ |
wa kh�lidin wa �an�alata wa luqm�na |
Kh�lid, �an�alah, and Luqm�n. |
|
اَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ |
all�humma �alli `al�
Muhammadin wa �li Muhammadin |
O
Allah, (please do) send blessings to Muhammad and the Household
of Muhammad, |
|
وَٱرْحَمْ مُحَمَّداً وَآلَ مُحَمَّدٍ |
war�am Muhammadan wa �la Muhammadin |
have
mercy upon Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad, |
|
وَبَارِكْ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ |
wa b�rik `al�
Muhammadin wa �li Muhammadin |
and
send benedictions upon Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad, |
|
كَمَا صَلَّيْتَ وَرَحِمْتَ وَبَارَكْتَ عَلَىٰ إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَآلِ
إِبْرَاهِيمَ |
kam�
�allayta wa ra�imta wa b�rakta `al�
ibr�h�ma wa �li ibr�h�ma |
just
as You have sent blessings, had mercy, and sent benedictions
upon Abraham and the Household of Abraham. |
|
إِنَّكَ حَمِيدٌ مَجِيدٌ |
innaka �am�dun maj�dun |
You
are verily worthy of all praise, full of all glory. |
|
اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَىٰ ٱلاوْصِيَاءِ
وَٱلسُّعَدَاءِ |
all�humma �alli `al�
al-aw�iy�'i walssu`ad�'i |
O
Allah, (please do) send blessings to the Successors, the happy, |
|
وَٱلشُّهَدَاءِ وَائِمَّةِ
ٱلْهُدَىٰ |
walshshuhad�'i wa a'immati alhud� |
the
witnesses, and the leaders to the true guidance. |
|
اَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَىٰ ٱلابْدَالِ
وَٱلاوْتَادِ |
all�humma �alli `al�
al-abd�li wal-awt�di |
O
Allah, (please do) send blessings to the Substitutes (whom shall
be given the favor of participating in Imam al-Mahdi�s
campaigns), the loftiest personalities, |
|
وَٱلسُّيَّاحِ وَٱلْعُبَّادِ |
walssuyy��i wal`ubb�di |
those
observing fasting with devotion, those who ardently serve You, |
|
وَٱلْمُخْلِصِينَ وَٱلزُّهَّادِ |
walmukhli��na walzzuhh�di |
those
whom You have chosen, the ascetic servants, |
|
وَاهْلِ
ٱلْجِدِّ وَٱلاِجْتِهَادِ |
wa ahli aljiddi wal-ijtih�di |
and
the people of painstaking and hardworking deeds. |
|
وَٱخْصُصْ مُحَمَّداً وَاهْلَ
بَيْتِهِ بِافْضَلِ
صَلَوَاتِكَ |
wakh�u� Muhammadan wa ahla baytih� bi-af�ali
�alaw�tika |
(Please do) give Muhammad and his Household exclusively the best
of Your blessings |
|
وَاجْزَلِ
كَرَامَاتِكَ |
wa ajzali kar�m�tika |
and
the most abundant of Your favors. |
|
وَبَلِّغْ رُوحَهُ وَجَسَدَهُ مِنِّي تَحِيَّةً وَسَلاماً |
wa balligh r��ah� wa jasadah� minn� ta�iyyatan
wa sal�man |
(Please do) convey to his soul and body my greetings and
compliments |
|
وَزِدْهُ فَضْلاً وَشَرَفاً وَكَرَماً |
wa zid-hu fa�lan wa sharafan wa karaman |
and
give him more favors, honor, and esteem |
|
حَتَّىٰ تُبَلِّغَهُ اعْلَىٰ
دَرَجَاتِ اهْلِ
ٱلشَّرَفِ |
�att�
tuballighah� a`l�
daraj�ti ahli alshsharafi |
so
that You will make him attain the most elevated ranks of the
honored ones |
|
مِنَ ٱلنَّبِيِّينَ وَٱلْمُرْسَلِينَ |
min alnnabiyy�na walmursal�na |
from
amongst the Prophets, the Messengers, |
|
وَٱلافَاضِلِ
ٱلْمُقَرَّبِينَ |
wal-af��ili almuqarrab�na |
and
the virtuous, favorable ones. |
|
اَللَّهُمَّ وَصَلِّ عَلَىٰ مَنْ سَمَّيْتُ وَمَنْ لَمْ
اسَمِّ |
all�humma wa �alli `al�
man
sammaytu wa man lam usammi |
O
Allah, (please) send blessings to those whose names I have
mentioned or I have not |
|
مِنْ مَلائِكَتِكَ وَانْبِيَائِكَ |
min mal�'ikatika wa anbiy�'ika |
from
amongst Your angels, Prophets, |
|
وَرُسُلِكَ وَاهْلِ
طَاعَتِكَ |
wa rusulika wa ahli ��`atika |
Messengers, and obedient servants. |
|
وَاوْصِلْ
صَلَوَاتِي إِلَيْهِمْ وَإِلَىٰ ارْوَاحِهِمْ |
wa aw�il �alaw�t� ilayhim wa il�
arw��ihim |
Convey my invocations of blessings to them and to their souls |
|
وَٱجْعَلْهُمْ إِخْوَانِي فِيكَ |
waj`alhum ikhw�n� f�ka |
and
make them my brethren in You |
|
وَاعْوَانِي
عَلَىٰ دُعَائِكَ |
wa a`w�n� `al�
du`�'ika |
and
make them help me pray You. |
|
اَللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي اسْتَشْفِعُ
بِكَ إِلَيْكَ |
all�humma inn� astashfi`u bika ilayka |
O
Allah, I seek Your intercession for me to You, |
|
وَبِكَرَمِكَ إِلَىٰ كَرَمِكَ |
wa bikaramika il�
karamika |
I
seek Your honor in the name of Your honor, |
|
وَبِجُودِكَ إِلَىٰ جُودِكَ |
wa bij�dika il�
j�dika |
I
seek Your magnanimity in the name of Your magnanimity, |
|
وَبِرَحْمَتِكَ إِلَىٰ رَحْمَتِكَ |
wa bira�matika il�
ra�matika |
and I
seek Your mercy in the name of Your mercy |
|
وَبِاهْلِ
طَاعَتِكَ إِلَيْكَ |
wa bi-ahli ��`atika ilayka |
and
in the name of the people of the obedience to You. |
|
وَاسْالُكَ
ٱللَّهُمَّ بِكُلِّ مَا سَالَكَ
بِهِ احَدٌ
مِنْهُمْ |
wa as'aluka all�humma bikulli m�
sa'alaka bih� a�adun minhum |
I
thus beseech You, O Allah, in the name of all the things by
whose names those people have besought You, |
|
مِنْ مَسْالَةٍ
شَرِيفَةٍ غَيْرِ مَرْدُودَةٍ |
min mas'alatin shar�fatin ghayri mard�datin |
including the honorable requests that are never rejected by You |
|
وَبِمَا دَعَوْكَ بِهِ مِنْ دَعْوَةٍ مُجَابَةٍ غَيْرِ مُخَيِّبَةٍ |
wa bim�
da`awka bih� min da`watin muj�batin ghayri mukhayyibatin |
and
all the responded and unfailing prayers that they have asked
from You. |

يَا
اللَّهُ يَا رَحْمٰنُ يَا رَحِيمُ |
y�
all�hu y�
ra�m�nu y�
ra��mu |
O
Allah! O All-beneficent! O All-merciful! |
|
يَا
حَلِيمُ يَا كَرِيمُ يَا عَظِيمُ |
y�
�al�mu y�
kar�mu y�
`a��mu |
O
All-forbearing! O All-generous! O All-great! |
|
يَا
جَلِيلُ يَا مُنِيلُ يَا جَمِيلُ |
y�
jal�lu y�
mun�lu y�
jam�lu |
O
All-majestic! O Bestower! O All-munificent! |
|
يَا
كَفِيلُ يَا وَكِيلُ يَا مُقِيلُ |
y�
kaf�lu y�
wak�lu y�
muq�lu |
O
Surety! O Dependable! O Rescuer! |
|
يَا
مُجِيرُ يَا خَبِيرُ |
y�
muj�ru y�
khab�ru |
O
Protector! O All-aware! |
|
يَا
مُنِيرُ يَا مُبِيرُ |
y�
mun�ru y�
mub�ru |
O
All-luminous! O Eradicator (of the wrongdoers)! |
|
يَا
مَنِيعُ يَا مُدِيلُ يَا مُحِيلُ |
y�
man�`u y�
mud�lu y�
mu��lu |
O
Shielding! O Grantor of victory! O Assuring! |
|
يَا
كَبِيرُ يَا قَدِيرُ يَا بَصِيرُ |
y�
kab�ru y�
qad�ru y�
ba��ru |
O
All-big! O All-powerful! O All-seer! |
|
يَا
شَكُورُ يَا بَرُّ |
y�
shak�ru y�
barru |
O
most Ready to appreciate (servitude)! O All-benign! |
|
يَا
طُهْرُ يَا طَاهِرُ |
y�
�uhru y�
��hiru |
O
Source of purity! O All-pure! |
|
يَا
قَاهِرُ يَا ظَاهِرُ |
y�
q�hiru y�
��hiru |
O
Omnipotent! O Evident! |
|
يَا
بَاطِنُ يَا سَاتِرُ |
y�
b��inu y�
s�tiru |
O
Immanent! O Concealer! |
|
يَا

Aid! O Donor! O Straitening! |

يَا
مَنْ عَلاَ فَٱسْتَعْلَىٰ |

O He
Who has mounted to the most elevated point, |
|
فَكَانَ بِٱلْمَنْظَرِ ٱلاعْلَىٰ |
fak�na bilman�ari al-a`l� |
He
thus occupies the most exalted site! |
|
يَا
مَنْ قَرُبَ فَدَنَا |
y�
man
qaruba fadan� |
O He
Who has approached so closely that He has become the nearest of
all things |
|
وَبَعُدَ فَنَاىٰ |
wa ba`uda fana'� |
and,
at the same time, He has been so far that He is in the furthest
point, |
|
وَعَلِمَ ٱلسِّرَّ وَاخْفَىٰ |
wa `alima alssirra wa akhf� |
and
He has known the secret and even what is more hidden! |
|
يَا
مَنْ إِلَيْهِ ٱلتَّدْبِيرُ وَلَهُ ٱلْمَقَادِيرُ |

ilayhi alttadb�ru wa lah� almaq�d�ru |
O He
to Whom all management is relegated and to Whom all measures are
referred! |
|
وَيَا مَنِ ٱلْعَسِيرُ عَلَيْهِ سَهْلٌ يَسِيرٌ |
wa y�
man
al`as�ru `alayhi sahlun yas�run |
O He
for Whom the most difficult thing is easy and simple! |
|
يَا
مَنْ هُوَ عَلَىٰ مَا يَشَاءُ قَدِيرٌ |

man

yash�'u qad�run |
O He
Who has power to do whatever He wills! |
|
يَا
مُرْسِلَ ٱلرِّيَاحِ |
y�

O He
Who sends forth the wind! |
|
يَا
فَالِقَ ٱلإِصْبَاحِ |
y�
f�liqa al-i�b��i |
O He
Who causes the dawn to break! |
|
يَا
بَاعِثَ ٱلارْوَاحِ |

b�`itha al-arw��i |
O He
Who revives the spirits! |
|
يَا
ذَا ٱلْجُودِ وَٱلسَّمَاحِ |
y�

O
Lord of magnanimity and lenience! |
|
يَا
رَادَّ مَا قَدْ فَاتَ |
y�

O He
Who has the power to restore that which has been missed! |
|
يَا
نَاشِرَ ٱلامْوَاتِ |
y�
n�shira al-amw�ti |
O He
Who resurrects the dead bodies! |
|
يَا
جَامِعَ ٱلشَّتَاتِ |
y�
j�mi`a alshshat�ti |
O He
Who draws together the dispersal! |
|
يَا
رَازِقَ مَنْ يَشَاءُ بِغَيْرِ حِسَابٍ |
y�
r�ziqa man yash�'u bighayri �is�bin |
O He
Who provides sustenance to whomever He wants without measure! |
|
وَيَا فَاعِلَ مَا يَشَاءُ كَيْفَ يَشَاءُ |
wa y�
f�`ila m�
yash�'u kayfa yash�'u |
O He
Who has power to do whatever He wills however He wills! |
|
وَيَا ذَا ٱلْجَلالِ وَٱلإِكْرَامِ |
wa y�
dhaljal�li wal-ikr�mi |
O
Lord of Majesty and Honor! |
|
يَا
حَيُّ يَا قَيُّومُ |
y� �ayyu y�
qayy�mu |
O
Ever-living! O Self-subsistent! |
|
يَا
حَيّاً حِينَ لاَ حَيُّ |
y�
�ayyan ��na l�
�ayya |
O He
Who existed when there existed nothing else! |
|
يَا
حَيُّ يَا مُحْيِيَ ٱلْمَوْتَىٰ |
y� �ayyu y�
mu�yiya almawt� |
O
Ever-living! O Reviver of the dead! |
|
يَاحَيُّ لاَ إِلٰهَ إِلاَّ انْتَ |
y� �ayyu l�
il�ha ill�
anta |
O
Ever-living! There is no god save You |
|
بَدِيعُ ٱلسَّمَاوَاتِ وَٱلارْضِ |
bad�`u alssam�w�ti wal-ar�i |
the
excellent Maker of the heavens and the earth. |
|
يَا
إِلٰهِي وَسَيِّدِي |
y�
il�h� wa sayyid� |
O my
God and my Master, |
|
صَلِّ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ |
�alli `al�
Muhammadin wa �li Muhammadin |
(please do) send blessings to Muhammad and the Household of
Muhammad, |
|
وَٱرْحَمْ مُحَمَّداً وَآلَ مُحَمَّدٍ |
war�am Muhammadan wa �la Muhammadin |
have
mercy upon Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad, |
|
وَبَارِكْ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ |
wa b�rik `al�
Muhammadin wa �li Muhammadin |
and
send benedictions upon Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad |
|
كَمَا صَلَّيْتَ وَبَارَكْتَ وَرَحِمْتَ عَلَىٰ إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَآلِ
إِبْرَاهِيمَ |
kam�
�allayta wa b�rakta wa ra�imta `al�
ibr�h�ma wa �li ibr�h�ma |
just
as You have sent blessings and benedictions and had mercy upon
Abraham and the household of Abraham. |
|
إِنَّكَ حَمِيدٌ مَجِيدٌ |
innaka �am�dun maj�dun |
You
are verily worthy of all praise and full of all glory. |
|
وَٱرْحَمْ ذُلِّي وَفَاقَتِي |
war�am dhull� wa f�qat� |
Have
mercy upon my humiliation, neediness, |
|
وَفَقْرِي وَٱنْفِرَادِي وَوَحْدَتِي |
wa faqr� wanfir�d� wa wa�dat� |
poverty, loneliness, aloneness, |
|
وَخُضُوعِي بَيْنَ يَدَيْكَ |
wa khu��`� bayna yadayka |
humbleness before You, |
|
وَٱعْتِمَادِي عَلَيْكَ |
wa`tim�d� `alayka |
reliance upon You, |
|
وَتَضَرُّعِي إِلَيْكَ |
wa ta�arru`� ilayka |
and
submission to You. |
|
ادْعُوكَ
دُعَاءَ ٱلْخَاضِعِ ٱلذَّلِيلِ |
ad`�ka du`�'a alkh��i`i aldhdhal�li |
I
implore You with the imploring of the humble, the subservient, |
|
ٱلْخَاشِعِ ٱلْخَائِفِ |
alkh�shi`i alkh�'ifi |
the
fearful, the scared |
|
ٱلْمُشْفِقِ ٱلْبَائِسِ |
almushfiqi alb�'isi |
the
afraid, the miserable, |
|
ٱلْمَهِينِ ٱلْحَقِيرِ |
almah�ni al�aq�ri |
the
modest, the insignificant, |
|
ٱلْجَائِعِ ٱلْفَقِيرِ |
alj�'i`i alfaq�ri |
the
hungry, the poor, |
|
ٱلْعَائِذِ ٱلْمُسْتَجِيرِ |
al`�'idhi almustaj�ri |
the
seeker of Your refuge, the seeker of Your protection, |
|
ٱلْمُقِرِّ بِذَنْبِهِ |
almuqirri bidhanbih� |
the
confessing of his sins, |
|
ٱلْمُسْتَغْفِرِ مِنْهُ |
almustaghfiri minhu |
the
implorer for You to forgive his sin, |
|
ٱلْمُسْتَكِينِ لِرَبِّهِ |
almustak�ni lirabbih� |
and
the humble to his Lord; |
|
دُعَاءَ مَنْ اسْلَمَتْهُ
ثِقَتُهُ |
du`�'a man aslamat-hu thiqatuh� |
I
implore You with the imploration of one whom has been
disappointed by those whom he trusts, |
|
وَرَفَضَتْهُ احِبَّتُهُ |
wa rafa�at-hu a�ibbatuh� |
rejected by his intimate ones, |
|
وَعَظُمَتْ فَجِيعَتُهُ |
wa `a�umat faj�`atuh� |
and
whose catastrophe has been enormous. |
|
دُعَاءَ حَرِقٍ حَزِينٍ |
du`�'a �ariqin �az�nin |
I
implore You the imploration of one burning, sad, |
|
ضَعِيفٍ مَهِينٍ |
�a`�fin mah�nin |
weak,
mortified, |
|
بَائِسٍ مُسْتَكِينٍ |
b�'isin mustak�nin |
depressed, wretched, |
|
بِكَ مُسْتَجِيرٍ |
bika mustaj�rin |
and
resorting to Your shelter. |
|
اَللَّهُمَّ وَاسْالُكَ
بِانَّكَ
مَلِيكٌ |
all�humma wa as'aluka bi'annaka mal�kun |
O
Allah, I also beseech You in the name of Your being the King, |
|
وَانَّكَ
مَا تَشَاءُ مِنْ امْرٍ
يَكُونُ |
wa annaka m�
tash�'u min amrin yak�nu |
whatever You will shall definitely take place, |
|
وَانَّكَ
عَلَىٰ مَا تَشَاءُ قَدِيرٌ |
wa annaka `al�
m�
tash�'u qad�run |
and
You have power over all things. |
|
وَاسْالُكَ
بِحُرْمَةِ هٰذَا ٱلشَّهْرِ ٱلْحَرَامِ |
wa as'aluk bi�urmati h�dh�
alshshahri al�ar�mi |
I
beseech You in the name of the holiness of this sacred month, |
|
وَٱلْبَيْتِ ٱلْحَرَامِ |
walbayti al�ar�mi |
the
Sacred House, |
|
وَٱلْبَلَدِ ٱلْحَرَامِ |
walbaladi al�ar�mi |
the
Sacred Town, |
|
وَٱلرُّكْنِ وَٱلْمَقَامِ |
walrrukni walmaq�mi |
the
Rukn (i.e. the corner of the Holy Ka`bah), the Maq�m (i.e. the
standing-place of Prophet Abraham), |
|
وَٱلْمَشَاعِرِ ٱلْعِظَامِ |
walmash�`iri al`i��mi |
the
great rituals, |
|
وَبِحَقِّ نَبِيِّكَ مُحَمَّدٍ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ ٱلسَّلاَمُ |
wa bi�aqqi nabiyyika Muhammadin `alayhi wa �lih�
alssal�mu |
and
in the name of Your Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him and his
Household. |
|
يَا
مَنْ وَهَبَ لآِدَمَ شَيْثاً |
y�
man
wahaba li'�dama shaythan |
O He
Who gave Shayth to Adam, |
|
وَلإِبْرَاهِيمَ إِسْمَاعِيلَ وَإِسْحَاقَ |
wa li'ibr�h�ma ism�`�la wa is��qa |
and
gave Ishmael and Isaac to Abraham! |
|
وَيَا مَنْ رَدَّ يُوسُفَ عَلَىٰ يَعْقُوبَ |
wa y�
man
radda y�sufa `al�
ya`q�ba |
O He
Who returned Joseph to Jacob! |
|
وَيَا مَنْ كَشَفَ بَعْدَ ٱلْبَلاءِ ضُرَّ ايُّوْبَ |
wa y�
man
kashafa ba`da albal�'i �urra ayy�ba |
O He
Who relieved Job from his harm after long hardships! |
|
يَا
رَادَّ مُوسَىٰ عَلَىٰ
امِّهِ |
y�
r�dda m�s�
`al�
ummih� |
O He
Who returned Moses to his mother! |
|
وَزَائِدَ ٱلْخِضْرِ فِي عِلْمِهِ |
wa z�'ida alkhi�ri f� `ilmih� |
O He
Who increased al-Kha�ir knowledge! |
|
وَيَا مَنْ وَهَبَ لِدَاوُودَ سُلَيْمَانَ |
wa y�
man
wahaba lid�w�da sulaym�na |
O He
Who gave Solomon to David, |
|
وَلِزَكَرِيَّا يَحْيَىٰ |
wa lizakariyy�
ya�y� |
gave
Jonah to Zachariah, |
|
وَلِمَرْيَمَ عِيسَىٰ |
wa limaryama `�s� |
and
gave Jesus to Mary! |
|
يَا
حَافِظَ بِنْتِ شُعَيْبٍ |
y�
��fi�a binti shu`aybin |
O He
Who safeguarded the daughter of Shu`ayb! |
|
وَيَا كَافِلَ وَلَدِ
امِّ
مُوسَىٰ |
wa y�
k�fila waladi umm m�s� |
O He
Who cared for the son of the mother of Moses! |
|
اسْالُكَ
انْ
تُصَلِّيَ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ |
as'aluka an tu�alliya `al�
Muhammadin wa �li Muhammadin |
I
beseech You to send blessings to Muhammad and the Household of
Muhammad, |
|
وَانْ
تَغْفِرَ لِي ذُنُوبِي كُلَّهَا |
wa an taghfira l� dhun�b� kullah� |
forgive my all sins, |
|
وَتُجِيرَنِي مِنْ عَذَابِكَ |
wa tuj�ran� min `adh�bika |
save
me from Your chastisement, |
|
وَتُوجِبَ لِي رِضْوَانَكَ وَ امَانَكَ |
wa t�jiba l� ri�w�naka wa am�naka |
and
confer upon me with Your pleasure and security |
|
وَإِحْسَانَكَ وَغُفْرَانَكَ وَجِنَانَكَ |
wa i�s�naka wa ghufr�naka wa jin�naka |
and
with Your favoring, forgiveness, and gardens of Your Paradise. |
|
وَاسْالُكَ
انْ
تَفُكَّ عَنِّي كُلَّ حَلْقَةٍ |
wa as'aluka an tafukka `ann� kulla �alqatin |
I ask
You to redeem me from all circles of misfortune |
|
بَيْنِي وَبَيْنَ مَنْ يُؤْذِينِي |
bayn� wa bayna man yu'dh�n� |
that
are drawn around those who intend harm to me and me, |
|
وَتَفْتَحَ لِي كُلَّ بَابٍ |
wa tafta�a l� kulla b�bin |
unlock for me all doors, |
|
وَتُلَيِّنَ لِي كُلَّ صَعْبٍ |
wa tulayyina l� kulla �a`bin |
make
easy for me all hardships, |
|
وَتُسَهِّلَ لِي كُلَّ عَسِيرٍ |
wa tusahhila l� kulla `as�rin |
alleviate for me all difficult matters, |
|
وَتُخْرِسَ عَنِّي كُلَّ نَاطِقٍ بِشَرٍّ |
wa tukhrisa `ann� kulla n��iqin bisharrin |
mute
all those who speak ill of me, |
|
وَتَكُفَّ عَنِّي كُلَّ بَاغٍ |
wa takuffa `ann� kulla b�ghin |
defend me against all oppressors, |
|
وَتَكْبِتَ عَنِّي كُلَّ عَدُوٍّ لِي وَحَاسِدٍ |
wa takbita `ann� kulla `aduwwin l� wa ��sidin |
suppress all my enemies and envious ones, |
|
وَتَمْنَعَ مِنِّي كُلَّ ظَالِمٍ |
wa tamna`a minn� kulla ��limin |
protect me against all unjust ones, |
|
وَتَكْفِيَنِي كُلَّ عَائِقٍ يَحُولُ بَيْنِي وَبَيْنَ حَاجَتِي |
wa takfiyan� kulla `�'iqin ya��lu bayn� wa bayna
��jat� |
and
rescue me from all impediments that lie between my needs and me, |
|
وَيُحَاوِلُ انْ
يُفَرِّقَ بَيْنِي وَبَيْنَ طَاعَتِكَ |
wa yu��wilu an yufarriqa bayn� wa bayna ��`atika |
try
to take me away from acts of obedience to You, |
|
وَيُثَبِّطَنِي عَنْ عِبَادَتِكَ |
wa yuthabbi�an� `an `ib�datika |
and
try to frustrate me from serving You. |
|
يَا
مَنْ الْجَمَ
ٱلْجِنَّ ٱلْمُتَمَرِّدِينَ |
y�
man
aljama aljinna almutamarrid�na |
O He
Who has bridled all mutinous jinn, |
|
وَقَهَرَ عُتَاةَ ٱلشَّيَاطِينِ |
wa qahara `utata alshshay���ni |
overcome all tyrannical devils, |
|
وَاذَلَّ
رِقَابَ ٱلْمُتَجَبِّرِينَ |
wa adhalla riq�ba almutajabbir�na |
mortified the necks of the oppressors, |
|
وَرَدَّ كَيْدَ ٱلْمُتَسَلِّطِينَ عَنِ ٱلْمُسْتَضْعَفِينَ |
wa radda kayda almutasalli��na `an
almusta�`af�na |
and

beseech You in the name of Your power over all things |

وَتَسْهِيلِكَ لِمَا تَشَاءُ كَيْفَ تَشَاءُ |
wa tas-h�lika lim�
tash�'u kayfa tash�'u |
and
Your alleviating whatever You will however You will, |

انْ
تَجْعَلَ قَضَاءَ حَاجَتِي فِيمَا تَشَاءُ |
an taj`ala qa��'a ��jat� f�m�
tash�'u |
to
grant my requests as You will. |
