Daily Recitation

O Allah! Send Blessing on Muhammad and on the children of Muhammad. In the name of Allah, the Beneficent the Merciful. In the name of Allah, I do not ask for but His generosity, I do not fear but His justice, I do not count on but His words, I do not cling and hold to but His rope [love and friendship of Muhammad and Aali (children of) Muhammad]. Unto Thee I draw near, O Owner of amnesty and approval! (away) from oppression and hostility, from the ups and downs, and the chronic pains and sorrows, from the "course of events (life) coming to an end" before "provisions" (for the Hereafter) are put in order and readiness. Thee (alone) I ask for guidance unto that which is good, set right and put in order, Thee (alone) I ask for help while I make efforts to become better, and get what I want. Unto Thee (alone) I turn to for health and welfare, and its completion, together with peace and security, and its continuity. I take refuge with Thee, O Lord, from "playing into the hands of" trick devils. and with the help of Thy authority and power keep clear of fascism and reign of terror. Accept my prayers and fasts I had, so far, given effect to, and let my tomorrow, and that which comes after it be better than the hours and the time I am in today, let my family, friends and community look up to me, and love me dearly, and keep me safe whether I am awake or asleep, (for) Thou art Allah, the Best Guardian, and Thou art the Most Merficul!

O my Allah, today I stand before Thee free from the guilt of "giving an associate to Allah" or defection and desertion, and shall be in the same position day after day henceafter, and act with faithfulness and sincerity towards Thee, and pray, hopeful of getting a favourable answer, stay obedient in Thy service, looking forward to obtain just rewards. Send blessing on Muhammad Thy best creation, (who) invited (mankind) unto Thy Religion (Islam), and keep me for Thy self in honour and glory in the name of Thy Majesty and Might, which neither decline nor lose power, and protect me through Thy "vision" (Divination) which rest not, nor is ever inattentive, bring to fullnes and maturity every work I undertake by giving my self entirely upto Thy will and pleasure, and keep me alive (till death) under Thy amnesty, Verily Thou art Forgiving, Merciful

ALLAAHUMMA INNEE ABRA-U ILAYKA FEE YAWMEE HAAD’AA WA MAA BAA’-DAHOO MINAL AH’AADI MINASH SHIRKI WAL ILH’AADI WA UKHLIS’U LAKA DU-A’A-EE TA-A’RRUZ’’AN LIL-IJAABATI WA UQEEMU A’LAA T’AA-A’TIKA RAJAA-AN LIL-ITHAABATI FA-S’ALLI A’LAA MUH’AMMADIN KHAYRI KHALQIKAD DAA-E’E ILAA H’AQQIKA WA A-I’ZZANEE BI-I’ZZIKALLAD’EE LAA YUZ’’AAMU WAH’-FAZ’NEE BI-A’YNIKALLATEE LAA TANAAMU WAKH-TIM BIL-INQIT’AA-I’ ILAYKA AMREE WA BIL MAGHFIRATI U’MUREE INNAKA ANTAL GHAFOORUR RAH’EEM

Prayer for Sunday Evening
It has come in traditions that one should recite six rakats prayers on Sunday eve and in each rakat after Surah Hamd he should recite Surah Tawheed seven times. There is inestimable reward for this prayer.

Prayer for Sunday 1
It is mentioned in traditions that on Sunday when sun has reached some height (late morning) one should pray two rakat prayers. In the first rakat after Surah Hamd recite Surah Kauther thrice and in the second rakat after Surah Hamd recite Surah Tawheed thrice. If one recites this prayer he is free from hellfire and purified of hypocrisy. There is great reward for this prayer.

Prayer for Sunday 2
It is narrated from the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w.a.) that one who offers four rakats prayer on Sunday, and in each rakat after Surah Hamd recites Surah Mulk once the Almighty will give him a place of his choice in Paradise.

بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ	bismill¡hi alrra¦m¡ni alrra¦¢mi	In the Name of Allah, the All-compassionate, the All-merciful.
بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ الَّذِي لاَ ارْجُو إِلاَّ فَضْلَهُ	bismill¡hi alladh¢ l¡ arj£ ill¡ fa¤lah£	In the name of Allah, from whom I hope for nothing but bounty,
وَلاَ اخْشىٰ إِلاَّ عَدْلَهُ	wa l¡ akhsh¡ ill¡ `adlah£	I fear nothing but justice,
وَلاَ اعْتَمِدُ إِلاَّ قَوْلَهُ	wa l¡ a`tamidu ill¡ qawlah£	I rely upon nothing but His word,
وَلاَ امْسِكُ إِلاَّ بِحَبْلِهِ	wa l¡ umsiku ill¡ bi¦ablih¢	and I cling to nothing but His Rope.
بِكَ اسْتَجِيـرُ يَا ذَا ٱلْعَفْوِ وَٱلرِّضْوَانِ	bika astaj¢ru y¡ dhal`afwi walrri¤w¡ni	In You do I seek sanctuary— O Possessor of pardon and good pleasure—
مِنَ ٱلظُّلْمِ وَٱلْعُدْوَانِ	mina al¨¨ulmi wal`udw¡ni	from wrong and enmity,
وَمِنْ غِيَرِ ٱلزَّمَانِ	wa min ghiyari alzzam¡ni	from the vicissitudes of time
وَتَوَاتُرِ ٱلاحْزَانِ	wa taw¡turi al-a¦z¡ni	from recurrence of sorrows,
وَطَوَارِقِ ٱلْحَدَثَانِ	wa §aw¡riqi al¦adath¡ni	from the striking of mishaps,
وَمِنِ ٱنْقِضَاءِ ٱلْمُدَّةِ قَبْلَ ٱلتَّاهُّبِ وَٱلْعُدَّةِ	wa min inqi¤¡'i almuddati qabla altta'ahhubi wal`uddati	and from the expiration of the term before preparation and readiness.
وَإِيَّاكَ اسْتَرْشِدُ لِمَا فيهِ ٱلصَّلاَحُ وَٱلإِصْلاَحُ	wa iyy¡ka astarshidu lim¡ f¢hi al¥¥al¡¦u wal-i¥l¡¦u	From You do I seek guidance to that wherein is righteousness and setting aright.
وَبِكَ اسْتَعينُ فيمَا يَقْتَرِنُ بِهِ ٱلنَّجَاحُ وَٱلإِنْجَاحُ	wa bika asta`¢nu f¢m¡ yaqtarinu bih¢ alnnaj¡¦u wal-inj¡¦u	From You do I seek help in that which is linked to success and favorable response.
وَإِيَّاكَ ارْغَبُ فِي لِبَاسِ ٱلْعَافِيَةِ وَتَمَامِهَا	wa iyy¡ka arghabu f¢ lib¡si al`¡fiyati wa tam¡mih¡	From You do I desire for the garment of wellbeing and its completion,
وَشُمُولِ ٱلسَّلاَمَةِ وَدَوَامِهَا	wa shum£li alssal¡mati wa daw¡mih¡	and the covering of health and its permanence.
وَ اعُوذُ بِكَ يَا رَبِّ مِنْ هَمَزَاتِ ٱلشَّيَاطينِ	wa a`£dhu bika y¡ rabbi min hamaz¡ti alshshay¡§¢ni	I seek refuge in You, O my Lord, from the evil suggestions of the devils.
وَ احْتَرِزُ بِسُلْطَانِكَ مِنْ جَوْرِ ٱلسَّلاَطِينِ	wa a¦tarizu bisul§¡nika min jawri alssal¡§¢ni	I seek protection in Your sovereignty from the injustice of the sovereigns.
فَتَقَبَّلْ مَا كَانَ مِنْ صَلاَتِي وَصَوْمِي	fataqabbal m¡ k¡na min ¥al¡t¢ wa ¥awm¢	So, (please) accept my past prayers and fasting,
وَٱجْعَلْ غَدِي وَمَا بَعْدَهُ افْضَلَ مِنْ سَاعَتِي وَيَوْمِي	waj`al ghad¢ wa m¡ ba`dah£ af¤ala min s¡`at¢ wa yawm¢	make my morrow and what is after it better than my present hour and my day,
وَ اعِزَّنِي فِي عَشيرَتِي وَقَوْمِي	wa a`izzan¢ f¢ `ash¢rat¢ wa qawm¢	exalt me in my clan and people,
وَٱحْفَظْنِي فِي يَقْظَتِي وَنَوْمِي	wa¦fa¨n¢ f¢ yaq¨at¢ wa nawm¢	and protect me in my waking and sleep,
فَانْتَ ٱللَّهُ خَيْرٌ حَافِظاً	fa-anta all¡hu khayrun ¦¡fi¨an	for You are Allah, the Best Guardian,
وَ انْتَ ارْحَمُ ٱلرَّاحِمِينَ	wa anta ar¦amu alrr¡¦im¢na	and You are the most Merciful of all those who show mercy.
اَللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي ابْرَا إِلَيْكَ فِي يَوْمِي هٰذَا	all¡humma inn¢ abra'u ilayka f¢ yawm¢ h¡dh¡	O Allah, I repudiate, before You on this day of mine
وَمَا بَعْدَهُ مِنَ ٱلآحَادِ	wa m¡ ba`dah£ mina al-¡¦¡di	and on all Sundays that follow it,
مِنَ ٱلشِّرْكِ وَٱلإلْحَادِ	mina alshshirki wal-il¦¡di	polytheism and atheism.
وَاخْلِصُ لَكَ دُعَائِي	wa ukhli¥u laka du`¡'¢	I devote my supplication sincerely to You,
تَعَرُّضَاً لِلإجَابَةِ	ta`arru¤an lil-ij¡bati	addressing myself to Your response.
وَاقيمُ عَلَىٰ طَاعَتِكَ	wa uq¢mu `al¡ §¡`atika	I observe the acts of obedience to You
رَجَاءً لِلإِثَابَةِ	raj¡'an lil-ith¡bati	for hope of gaining Your rewards.
فَصَلِّ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ خَيْرِ خَلْقِكَ	fa¥alli `al¡ mu¦ammadin khayri khalqika	So, (please) bless Mu¦ammad, the best of Your creation
ٱلدَّاعِي إِلَىٰ حَقِّكَ	aldd¡`¢ il¡ ¦aqqika	and the caller to Your truth,
وَ اعِزَّنِي بِعِزِّكَ ٱلَّذِي لاَ يُضَامُ	wa a`izzan¢ bi`izzika alladh¢ l¡ yu¤¡mu	and fortify me with Your almightiness, which is invulnerable,
وَٱحْفَظْنِي بِعَيْنِكَ ٱلَّتِي لاَ تَنَامُ	wa¦fa¨n¢ bi`aynika allat¢ l¡ tan¡mu	protect me with Your Eye, which never sleeps,
وَٱخْتِمْ بِٱلإِنْقِطَاعِ إِلَيْكَ امْرِي	wakhtim bil-inqi§¡`i ilayka amr¢	and seal my affair by acting devoutly to You
وَبِٱلْمَغْفِرَةِ عُمْرِي	wa bilmaghfirati `umr¢	and my life with forgiveness!
إِنَّكَ انْتَ ٱلْغَفُورُ ٱلرَّحِيمُ	innaka anta alghaf£ru alrra¦¢mu	Surely, You are the All-forgiving, the All-compassionate!
