Magrib and Isha Taqeebat
Recited after the obligatory salat
--The Post-Sunset(Maghrib)Prayer Litanies quoted from Misbah al-Mutahajjid.--
1.After reciting Tasbih al-Zahra', say the following invocation of blessings:
﴿إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ وَمَلاَئِكَتَهُ يُصَلُّون عَلَىٰ ٱلنَّبِيِّ
inna allaha wa mala'ikatahu yusalluna `ala alnnabiyyi
“Surely, Allah and His angels bless the Prophet.

يَا أَيُّهَا ٱلَّذينَ آمَنُوٱ صَلُّوٱ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلِّمُوٱ تَسْليماً﴾
ya ayyuha alladhina amanu sallu `alayhi wa sallimu tasliman
O you who believe! Call for Divine blessings on him and salute him with a becoming salutation.”

اَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّد ٱلنَّبِيِّ
allahumma salli `ala muhammadin alnnabiyyi
O Allah, send blessings to Muhammad the Prophet,

وَعَلَىٰ ذُرِّيَّتِهِ
wa `ala dhurriyyatihi
upon his offspring,

وَعَلَىٰ أَهلِ بَيْتِهِ
wa `ala ahli baytihi
and upon his Household.

2.Imam Moosa al Kazim (a.s) narrates that after Maghrib prayer, without talking to anyone, say the following 7 times:
بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
bismi allahi alrrahmani alrrahimi
In the Name of Allah; the All-beneficent, the All-merciful.

وَلاَ حَوْلَ وَلاَ قُوَّةَ إِلاَّ بِٱللَّهِ ٱلْعَلِيِّ ٱلْعَظيِمِ
wa la hawla wa la quwwata illa billahi al`aliyyi al`azimi
There is neither might nor power save with Allah, the All-high, the All-great.

3.Then, repeat the following doxology three times:
اَلْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ ٱلَّذي يَفْعَلُ مَا يَشَاءُ
alhamdu lillahi alladhi yaf`alu ma yasha'u
All praise be to Allah Who does whatever He desires,

وَلاَ يَفْعَلُ مَا يَشَاءُ غَيْرُهُ
wa la yaf`alu ma yasha'u ghayruhu
and none else can ever do whatever one desires save Him.

4.Recite Dua: Allahumma inni as'aluka mujibati

اَللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ مُوجِبَاتِ رَحْمَتِكَ
allahumma inni as'aluka mujibati rahmatika
O Allah! I beseech You for the motives of Your mercy,

وَعَزَائِمِ مَغْفِرَتِكَ
wa `aza'ima maghfiratika
the determining causes of Your forgiveness,

وَٱلنَّجَاةَ مِنَ ٱلنَّارِ
walnnajata mina alnnari
deliverance from Hellfire

وَمِنْ كُلِّ بِلِيَّةٍ
wa min kulli baliyyatin
and all misfortunes,

وَٱلْفَوْزَ بِٱلْجَنَّةِ
walfawza biljannati
winning Paradise,

وَٱلرِّضْوَانِ في دَارِ ٱلسَّلاَمِ
walrridwani fi dari alssalami
Divine Contentment in the Abode of Peace,

وَجَوَارِ نَبِيِّكَ مُحَمَّدٍ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ ٱلسَّلاَمُ
wa jiwari nabiyyika muhammadin `alayhi wa alihi alssalamu
and the vicinity of Your Prophet Muhammad—peace be upon him and his Household.

اَللَّهُمَّ مَا بِنَا مِنْ نِعْمَةٍ فَمِنْكَ
allahumma ma bina min ni`matin faminka
O Allah, You are certainly the source of each and every favor that covers us.

لاَ إِلٰهَ إِلاَّ أَنْتَ
la ilaha illa anta
There is no god save You.

أَسْتَغْفِرُكَ وَ أَتُوبُ إِلَيْكَ
astaghfiruka wa atubu ilayka
I pray Your forgiveness and I repent before You.

5.Then, say the following litany subhanaka:
سُبْحَانَكَ لاَ إِلٰهَ إِلاَّ أَنْتَ
subhanaka la ilaha illa anta
All glory be to You. There is no god save You.

إِغْفِرْ لِي ذُنُوبِي كُلَّهَا جَمِيعاً
ighfir li dhunubi kullaha jami`an
Forgive my sins all in all,

فَإِنَّهُ لاَ يَغْفِرُ ٱلذُّنُوبَ كُلَّهَا جَمِيعاً إِلاَّ أَنْتَ
fa'innahu la yaghfiru aldhdhunuba kullaha jami`an illa anta
for none can forgive all sins save You.

6.Recite Syeda Fatima Zehra (sa) Dua after magrib Salat

7.Recite Surah Waqiyah
8.It is narrated from Imam Ali (a.s.) that anyone who recites the following verse Quran 30:17/18 three times at the time of Maghrib prayer, he will not suffer any loss and he will be safe from natural calamities till the next morning:
 فَسُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ حِينَ تُمْسُونَ وَحِينَ تُصْبِحُونَ ‎﴿١٧﴾‏ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ وَعَشِيًّا وَحِينَ تُظْهِرُونَ ‎﴿١٨﴾
Fasubhana Allahi heena tumsoona waheena tusbihoona .Walahu alhamdu fee alssamawati waalardi waAAashiyyan waheena tuzhiroona
Therefore glory be to Allah when you enter upon the time of the evening and when you enter upon the time of the morning.And to Him belongs praise in the heavens and the earth, and at nightfall and when you are at midday.
9 .Recite :Allahuma Irhamna
اَللّٰهُمَّ أَجِرْنَا مِنَ النَّارِ سَالِمِیْنَ وَ أَدْخِلْنَا الْجَنَّةَبِسَلَامٍ آمِنِيْنَ وَ تَوَفَّنا مُسْلِمِيْنَ‏ وَ أَلْحِقْنَا بِالصَّالِحِيْنَ‏بِفَضْلِکَ وَرَحْمَتِكَ يَا أَرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمِيْنَ.
-"O Allah help us to depart from life of this world in safety and save us from fire and make us enter Paradise with peace and safety. And make us die in Thy submission and include us with the righteous, I beseech You by Thy grace and mercy on us, Oh Most Merciful of the Merciful! ".

10.Then recite "Allhumma Muqallabal Quloob"
اَللّٰهُمَّ مُقَلِّبَ‏ الْقُلُوْبِ‏ وَ الْأَبْصَارِ ثَبِّتْ قَلْبِي عَلىٰ دِيْنِكَ وَ لَا تُزِغْ قَلْبِي بَعْدَ إِذْ هَدَيْتَنِي وَ هَبْ لِي‏ مِنْ لَّدُنْكَ رَحْمَةً إِنَّكَ أَنْتَ الْوَهَّابُ‏ وَ أَجِرْنِي مِنَ النَّارِ بِرَحْمَتِكَ اَللّٰہُمَّ امْدُدْ لِيْ فِيْ عُمُرِي وَ اَوْسِعْ عَلیَّ فِیْ رِزْقِیْ وَانْشُرْ عَلَيَّ رَحْمَتَكَ وَ إِنْ كُنْتُ عِنْدَكَ فِي أُمِّ الْكِتَابِ شَقِيًّا فَاجْعَلْنِي سَعِيْدًا فَإِنَّكَ تَمْحُوْ مَا تَشَاءُ وَ تُثْبِتُ وَ عِنْدَكَ أُمُّ الْكِتَاب‏ِ.
“Oh Allah! Who transforms hearts and eyes, steadfast in Thy religion. And deviate not my heart after Thou hast guided me aright and bless me from Thy mercy. Surely Thou art the Most generous Giver, and by Thy mercy protect me from the fire. Oh Allah! extend the span of my life and increase my subsistence and spread Thy mercy on me; and, if in Thy Knowledge, there is anything unhappy for me in the guarded tablets change it into happiness, for surely Thou changeth what Thou pleaseth and inscribe what Thou pleaseth; and the guarded Tablet belongs Thee alone”.

11. Recite 100 times or 10 times laa ilaaha illallaah [There is no god save Allah.] i. You will remain safe from the temptations of sins. ii. Allah will be pleased with you.& iii. You shall be kept safe from the ordeals every human being faces in the grave.

12. Recite 4 Rak'ats Nafilah (2X2) after Maghrib, 2 of which can be Salat Ghufaylah





Recite Sunset Duas


Before Magrib Between Adhan and Iqamah, say the following  

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي اسْالُكَ بِإِقْبَالِ لَيْلِكَ
allahumma inni as'aluka bi'iqbali laylika
O Allah, I beseech You in the name of the coming of Your night,

وَإِدْبَارِ نَهَارِكَ
wa idbari naharika
the departure of Your daylight,

وَحُضُورِ صَلَوَاتِكَ
wa huduri salawatika
the presence of Your prayers,

وَاصْوَاتِ دُعَاتِكَ
wa aswati du`atika
the voices of Your supplicants,

وَتَسْبِيحِ مَلاَئِكَتِكَ
wa tasbihi mala'ikatika
and the glorification of Your angels,

انْ تُصَلِّيَ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ
an tusalliya `ala muhammadin wa ali muhammadin
to send blessings upon Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad

وَانْ تَتُوْبَ عَلَيَّ
wa an tatuba `alayya
and to accept my repentance.

إِنَّكَ انْتَ ٱلتَّوَّابُ ٱلرَّحِيمُ
innaka anta alttawwabu alrrahimu
You are verily, the Oft-Returning, the Most Merciful


Salaat-ul Ghufaylah between Maghrib and 'Isha


10. Recite 4 Rak'ats Nafilah (2X2) after Maghrib, 2 of which can be Ghufaylah
Four units of prayer, each two separated by a Taslim statement. It is recommended not to say anything (other than supplications) in the space of time between the obligatory and Nafila  sunset prayers.
  Surah al-Kaferoon (No. 109) should be recited in the first unit and Surah al-Tawhid in the second.
In the third and fourth units, it is optional to recite any other Surah desired.As in other Nafila , it is also sufficient to recite Surah al-Fatihah alone in each unit. It is advisable to recite the Surahs with audible voice,

It is also recommended to repeat the following  prayer seven times in the last prostration (sajdah) of all supererogatory prayers each night, especially at the night before Friday):
اَللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي اسْالُكَ بِوَجْهِكَ ٱلْكَرِيـمِ
allahumma inni as'aluka biwajhika alkarimi
O Allah, I surely beseech You in the name of Your Honorable Face,

وَٱسْمِكَ ٱلْعَظِيمِ
wasmika al`azimi
Your Tremendous Name,

وَمُلْكِكَ ٱلْقَدِيـمِ
wa mulkika alqadimi
and Your Timeless Kingdom,

انْ تُصَلِّيَ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّد وَآلِهِ
an tusalliya `ala muhammadin wa alihi
to send blessings to Muhammad and his Household

وَ انْ تَغْفِرَ لِي ذَنْبِيَ ٱلْعَظِيمَ
wa an taghfira li dhanbiya al`azima
and to forgive my enormous sin;

إِنَّهُ لاَ يَغْفِرُ ٱلْعَظِيمَ إِلاَّ ٱلْعَظِيمُ
innahu la yaghfiru al`azima illa al`azimu
for none can forgive the enormous save the All-tremendous (Lord).

You may then repeat the following ten times:
مَا شَاءَ ٱللَّهُ
ma sha'a allahu
Only that which Allah wills shall come to pass!

لاَ قُوَّةَ إِلاَّ بِٱللَّهِ
la quwwata illa billahi
There is no strength save with Allah.

اَسْتَغْفِرُ ٱللَّهَ
astaghfiru allaha
I pray the forgiveness of Allah.

 Additonal Recitations in 3rd & 4th Unit of the supererogatory / Nafila  of Magrib prayer
it is highly advisable to recite in the third unit Surah al-Fatihah and the following verses, which are the first six verses of Surah al-Hadid (No. 57):
سَبَّحَ لِلَّهِ مَا فِي ٱلسَّمَاوَاتِ وَٱلارْضِ
sabbaha lillahi ma fi alssamawati wal-ardi
Whatever is in the heavens and the earth declares the glory of Allah,

وَهُوَ ٱلْعَزِيزُ ٱلْحَكِيمُ.
wa huwa al`azizu alhakimu
and He is the Mighty, the Wise.

لَهُ مُلْكُ ٱلسَّمَاوَاتِ وَٱلارْضِ
lahu mulku alssamawati wal-ardi
His is the kingdom of the heavens and the earth;

يُحْيِي وَيُمِيتُ
yuhyi wa yumitu
He gives life and causes death;

وَهُوَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ.
wa huwa `ala kulli shay'in qadirun
and He has power over all things.

هُوَ ٱلاوَّلُ وَٱلآخِرُ
huwa al-awwalu wal-akhiru
He is the First and the Last

وَٱلظَّاهِرُ وَٱلْبَاطِنُ
walzzahiru walbatinu
and the Ascendant (over all) and the Knower of hidden things,

وَهُوَ بِكُلِّ شَيْءٍ عَلِيمٌ.
wa huwa bikulli shay'in `alimun
and He is Cognizant of all things.

هُوَ ٱلَّذِي خَلَقَ ٱلسَّمَاوَاتِ وَٱلارْضَ
huwa alladhi khalaqa alssamawati wal-arda
He it is who created the heavens and the earth

فِي سِتَّةِ ايَّامٍ
fi sittati ayyamin
in six periods,

ثُمَّ ٱسْتَوَىٰ عَلَىٰ ٱلْعَرْشِ
thumma istawa `ala al`arshi
and He is firm in power;

يَعْلَمُ مَا يَلِجُ فِي ٱلارْضِ
ya`lamu ma yaliju fi al-ardi
He knows that which goes deep down into the earth

وَمَا يَخْرُجُ مِنْهَا
wa ma yakhruju minha
and that which comes forth out of it,

وَمَا يَنْزِلُ مِنْ ٱلسَّمَاءِ
wa ma yanzilu min alssama'i
and that which comes down from the heaven

وَمَا يَعْرُجُ فِيهَا
wa ma ya`ruju fiha
and that which goes up into it,

وَهُوَ مَعَكُمْ ايْنَ مَا كُنْتُمْ
wa huwa ma`akum ayna ma kuntum
and He is with you wherever you are;

وَٱللَّهُ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ بَصِيرٌ.
wallahu bima ta`maluna basirun
and Allah sees what you do.

لَهُ مُلْكُ ٱلسَّمَاوَاتِ وَٱلارْضِ
lahu mulku alssamawati wal-ardi
His is the kingdom of the heavens and the earth;

وَإِلَىٰ اللَّهِ تُرْجَعُ ٱلامُورُ.
wa ila allahi turja`u al-umuru
and to Allah are (all) affairs returned.

يُولِجُ ٱللَّيْلَ فِي ٱلنَّهَارِ
yuliju allayla fi alnnahari
He causes the night to enter in upon the day,

وَيُولِجُ ٱلنَّهَارَ فِي ٱللَّيْلِ
wa yuliju alnnahara fi allayli
and causes the day to enter in upon the night,

وَهُوَ عَلِيمٌ بِذَاتِ ٱلصُّدُورِ.
wa huwa `alimun bidhati alssuduri
and He is Cognizant of what is in the hearts.

 
It is also high advisable to recite in the fourth unit of the nafila sunset prayer Surah al-Fatihah and the following holy verses, which are the last four verses of Surah al-Hashr (No. 59):
لَوْ انْزَلْنَا هٰذَا ٱلْقُرْآنَ عَلَىٰ جَبَلٍ
law anzalna hadha al-qur'ana `ala jabalin
Had We sent down this Qur'an on a mountain,

لَرَايْتَهُ خَاشِعاً مُتَصَدِّعاً مِنْ خَشْيَةِ اللَّهِ
lara'aytahu khashi`an mutasaddi`an min khashyati allahi
you would certainly have seen it falling down, splitting asunder because of the fear of Allah,

وَتِلْكَ ٱلامْثَالُ نَضْرِبُهَا لِلنَّاسِ
wa tilka al-amthalu nadribuha lilnnasi
and We set forth these parables to men

لَعَلَّهُمْ يَتَفَكَّرُونَ
la`allahum yatafakkaruna
that they may reflect.

هُوَ ٱللَّهُ ٱلَّذِي لاَ إِلٰهَ إِلاَّ هُوَ
huwa allahu alladhi la ilaha illa huwa
He is Allah besides Whom there is no god;

عَالِمُ ٱلْغَيْبِ وَٱلشَّهَادَةِ
`alimu alghaybi walshshahadati
the Knower of the unseen and the seen;

هُوَ ٱلرَّحْمٰنُ ٱلرَّحِيمُ
huwa alrrahmanu alrrahimu
He is the Beneficent, the Merciful.

هُوَ ٱللَّهُ ٱلَّذِي لاَ إِلٰهَ إِلاَّ هُوَ
huwa allahu alladhi la ilaha illa huwa
He is Allah, besides Whom there is no god;

ٱلْمَلِكُ ٱلْقُدُّوسُ
almaliku alquddusu
the King, the Holy,

ٱلسَّلاَمُ ٱلْمُؤْمِنُ ٱلْمُهَيْمِنُ
alssalamu almu'minu almuhayminu
the Giver of peace, the Granter of security, Guardian over all,

ٱلْعَزِيزُ ٱلْجَبَّارُ ٱلْمُتَكَبِّرُ
al`azizu aljabbaru almutakabbiru
the Mighty, the Supreme, the Possessor of every greatness.

سُبْحَانَ ٱللَّهِ عَمَّا يُشْرِكُونَ
subhana allahi `amma yushrikuna
Glory be to Allah from what they set up with Him.

هُوَ ٱللَّهُ ٱلْخَالِقُ ٱلْبَارِئُ ٱلْمُصَوِّرُ
huwa allahu alkhaliqu albari'u almusawwiru
He is Allah the Creator, the Maker, the Fashioner;

لَهُ ٱلاسْمَاءُ ٱلْحُسْنَىٰ
lahu al-asma'u alhusna
His are the most excellent names;

يُسَبِّحُ لَهُ مَا فِي ٱلسَّمَاوَاتِ وَٱلارْضِ
yusabbihu lahu ma fi alssamawati wal-ardi
whatever is in the heavens and the earth declares His glory;

وَهُوَ ٱلْعَزِيزُ ٱلْحَكِيمُ.
wa huwa al`azizu alhakimu
and He is the Mighty, the Wise.

As in other Nafila , it is sufficient to recite Surah al-Fatihah alone in each unit. It is advisable to recite the Surahs with audible voice,
You may then do the Thanksgiving prostration & recite  
شُكْراً شُكْراً شُكْراً
shukran shukran shukran
Thanks, thanks, thanks.

Al-Kulayni has reported Imam al Sadiq (`a) as saying: When you finish the nafila sunset prayer, you may pass your hand over your forehead and repeat the following prayer three times:
بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلَّذِي لاَ إِلٰهَ إِلاََّ هُوَ
bismillahi alladhi la ilaha illa huwa
In the Name of Allah save Whom there is no god,

عَالِمُ ٱلْغَيْبِ وَٱلشَّهَادَةِ
`alimu alghaybi walshshahadati
the Knower of the unseen and the seen,

ٱلرَّحْمٰنُ ٱلرَّحِيمُ
alrrahmanu alrrahimu
the All-beneficent, and the All-merciful.

اللَّهُمَّ اذْهِبْ عَنِّيَ ٱلْهَمَّ وَٱلْحَزَنَ
allahumma adhhib `anniya alhamma walhazana
O Allah, (please) take away from me grief and distress.



The Post-Evening ('Isha) Prayer Litanies as quoted from Misbah al-Mutahajjid
1.This supplication reported from Imam Ja'far Sadiq (peace be upon him) , is one of the supplications highly recommended for seeking sustenance.(Rizq)


اَللَّهُمَّ إِنَّهُ لَيْسَ لِي عِلْمٌ بِمَوْضِعِ رِزْقِي
allahumma innahu laysa li `ilmun bimawadi`i rizqi
O Allah! verily, I lack acquaintance with the place of my sustenance;

وَإِنَّمَا أَطْلُبُهُ بِخَطَرَاتٍ تَخْطُرُ عَلَىٰ قَلْبِي
wa innma atlubuhu bikhataratin takhturu `ala qalbi
rather, I am seeking it owing to ideas that come upon my mind.

فَأَجُولُ فِي طَلَبِهِ ٱلْبُلْدَانَ
fa-ajulu fi talabihu albuldana
I consequently wander in countries searching for it.

فَأَنَا فِيمَا أَنَا طَالِبٌ كَٱلْحَيْرَانِ
fa-ana fima ana talibun kalhayrani
By doing such, I am as confused as the confounded,

لاَ أَدْرِي أَفِي سَهْلٍ هَوُ أَمْ فِي جَبَلٍ
la adri afi sahlin huwa am fi jabalin
since I do not know whether my sustenance lies in a plain, on a mountain,

أَمْ في أَرْضٍ أَمْ في سَمَاءٍ
am fi ardin am fi sama'in
on the ground, in the air,

أَمْ فِي بَرٍّ أَمْ فِي بَحْرٍ
am fi barrin am fi bahrin
on lands, in seas,

وَعَلَىٰ يَدَيْ مَنْ
wa `ala yaday man
at whose hands,

وَمِنْ قِبَلِ مَنْ
wa min qibali man
or who the source of it is.

وَقَدْ عَلِمْتُ أَنَّ عِلْمَهُ عِنْدَكَ
wa qad `alimtu anna `ilmahu `indaka
I have full knowledge that You know all these,

وَ أَسْبَابَهُ بِيَدِكَ
wa asbabahu biyadika
the causes of them are in Your Hands,

وَ أَنْتَ ٱلَّذي تَقْسِمُهُ بِلُطْفِكَ
wa anta alladhi taqsimuhu bilutfika
and it is You Who distribute it out of Your compassion

وَتُسَبِّبُهُ بِرَحْمَتِكَ
wa tusabbibuhu birahmatika
and cause it out of Your mercy.

اَللَّهُمَّ فَصَلِّ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِهِ
allahumma fasalli `ala muhammadin wa alihi
O Allah, please send blessings to Muhammad and his Household

وَٱجْعَلْ يَا رَبِّ رِزْقَكَ لِي وَاسِعاً
waj`al ya rabbi rizqaka li wasi`an
and make, O Lord, Your sustenance that is provided (by You) to me expansive,

وَمَطْلَبَهُ سَهْلاً
wa matlabahu sahlan
my seeking for it easy for me,

وَمَاْخَذَهُ قَرِيباً
wa ma'khadhahu qariban
and its source close to me.

وَلاَ تُعَنِّنِي بِطَلَبِ مَا لَمْ تُقَدِّرْ لِي فيهِ رِزْقاً
wa la tu`annini bitalbi ma lam tuqaddiru li fihi rizqan
Please, do not fatigue me by seeking that which You have not decided for me to take,

فَإِنَّكَ غَنِيٌّ عَنْ عَذَابِي
fa'innaka ghaniyyun `an `adhabi
because You are certainly in no need for tormenting me

وَ أَنَا فَقِيـرٌ إِلَىٰ رَحْمَتِكَ
wa ana faqirun ila rahmatika
while I am in full need for Your mercy.

فَصَلِّ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِهِ
fasalli `ala muhammadin wa alihi
(Please) Send blessings upon Muhammad and his Household

وَجُدْ عَلَىٰ عَبْدِكَ بِفَضْلِكَ
wa jud `ala `abdika bifadlika
and confer liberally upon me, Your slave, out of Your graciousness.

إِنَّكَ ذُو فَضْلٍ عَظيم
innaka dhu fadlin `azimin
You are surely the Lord of great favor.

2.Recite Surah al-Qadr (No. 97) seven times after Isha prayer.
It has been reported from Imam Mohammed Baqir (peace be upon him), that one who does so will be in the guarantee (security) of Allah (swt) until the morning.
3.Then recite-Allahumma rabba alssamawati:
اللَّهُمَّ رَبَّ ٱلسَّمَاوَاتِ ٱلسَّبْعِ وَمَا اظَلَّتْ
allahumma rabba alssamawati alssab`i wa ma azallat
O Allah, O Lord of the seven skies and whatever they shade,

وَرَبَّ ٱلارَضِينَ ٱلسَّبْعِ وَمَا اقَلَّتْ
wa rabba al-aradina alssab`i wa ma aqallat
Lord of the seven layers of the earth and whatever they carry,

وَرَبَّ ٱلشَّيَاطِينِ وَمَا اضَلَّتْ
wa rabba alshshayatini wa ma adallat
Lord of the devils and whatever they mislead,

وَرَبَّ ٱلرِّيَاحِ وَمَا ذَرَتْ
wa rabba alrriyahi wa ma dharat
and Lord of the winds and whatever they winnow!

اللَّهُمَّ رَبَّ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ
allahumma rabba kulli shay'in
O Allah, O Lord of all things,

وَإِلٰهَ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ
wa ilaha kulli shay'in
God of all things,

وَمَلِيكَ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ
wa malika kulli shay'in
and Possessor of all things!

انْتَ ٱللَّهُ ٱلْمُقْتَدِرُ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ
anta allahu almuqtadiru `ala kulli shay'in
You are Allah, the Omnipotent over all things.

انْتَ ٱللَّهُ ٱلاوَّلُ فَلاَ شَيْءَ قَبْلَكَ
anta allahu al-awwalu fala shay'a qablaka
You are Allah the Foremost; there is thus nothing before You.

وَانْتَ ٱلآخِرُ فَلاَ شَيْءَ بَعْدَكَ
wa anta al-akhiru fala shay'a ba`daka
You are the Last; there is thus nothing after You.

وَانْتَ ٱلظَّاهِرُ فَلاَ شَيْءَ فَوْقَكَ
wa anta alzzahiru fala shay'a fawqaka
You are the Ascendant; there is thus nothing above You.

وَانْتَ ٱلْبَاطِنُ فَلاَ شَيْءَ دُونَكَ
wa anta albatinu fala shay'a dunaka
You are the Inward; there is thus nothing concealed from You.

رَبَّ جَبْرَائِيلَ وَمِيكَائِيلَ وَإِسْرَافِيلَ
rabba jabra'ila wa mika'ila wa israfila
O Lord of Gabriel, Michael, and Seraph!

وَإِلٰهَ إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَإِسْمَاعِيلَ
wa ilaha ibrahima wa isma`ila
O God of Abraham, Ishmael,

وَإِسْحَاقَ وَيَعْقُوبَ وَٱلاسْبَاطِ
wa ishaqa wa ya`quba wal-asbati
Isaac, Jacob, and the Tribes!

اسْالُكَ انْ تُصَلِّيَ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ
as'aluka an tusalliya `ala muhammadin wa ali muhammadin
I beseech You to send blessings upon Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad,

وَانْ تَوَلاَّنِي بِرَحْمَتِكَ
wa an tawallani birahmatika
to oversee me with Your mercy

وَلاَ تُسَلِّطْ عَلَيَّ احَداً مِنْ خَلْقِكَ
wa la tusallit `alayya ahadan min khalqika
and not to give any of Your creatures power over me

مِمَّنْ لاَ طَاقَةَ لِي بِهِ
mimman la taqata li bihi
that I cannot stand.

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي اتَحَبَّبُ إِلَيْكَ فَحَبِّبْنِي
allahumma inni atahabbabu ilayka fahabbibni
O Allah, I am endearing myself to You; so (please) endear me to the others,

وَفِي ٱلنَّاسِ فَعَزِّزْنِي
wa fi alnnasi fa`azzizni
create affection for me among people,

وَمِنْ شَرِّ شَّيَاطِينِ ٱلْجِنِّ وَٱلإِنْسِ فَسَلِّمْنِي
wa min sharri shshayatini aljinn wal-insi fasallimni
and keep me sound from the evil of the devils of jinn and men,

يَا رَبَّ ٱلْعَالَمِينَ
ya rabba al`alamina
O Lord of the Worlds,

وَصَلِّ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِهِ
wa salli `ala muhammadin wa alihi
and bless Muhammad and his Household.

4.The Wutayrah Prayer- Isha Nafilah
The Wutayrah supererogatory Nafila prayer, which consists of two units and should be offered in the sitting position it is recommended to recite Surah al-Waqi`ah (No. 56) in the first unit and Surah al-Tawhid in the second.
5.Recite Syeda Fatima Zehra (sa) Dua after isha Salat
6.Recite Surah Mulk (no 67)
7. Recite allaahumma a’afinaa
اَللّٰھُمَّ عَافِنَا مِنْ كُلِّ بَلَاءِ الدُّنْیَا وَاصْرِفْ عَنَّا شَرَّ الدُّنْیَا وَ شَرَّ الْآخِرَۃِ وَارْزُقْنَا خَیْرَ الدُّنْیَا وَ خَیْرَ الْآخِرَۃِ بِفَضْلِکَ وَ رَحْمَتِکَ یَا اَرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمِیْنَ.
allaahumma a’afinaa min kulli balaa-id dunyaa was’-rif a’nnaa sharrad dunyaa wa sharral aakhirati war-zuqnaa khayrad dunyaa wa khayrul aakhirati bifaz”lika wa rah’matika yaa arh’amar raah’imeen
Oh Allah save us from all tribulations of the world; and turn away from us the evil of the world and the evil of the hereafter; and give us the good of the world and the good of the hereafter; By Thy grace and by Thy mercy, Oh Most Merciful of the Merciful!”
8. Then recite :Allhumma haza salati
اَللّٰهُمَّ هٰذِهٖ صَلَاتِي صَلَّيْتُهَا لَا لِحَاجَةٍ مِنْكَ‏ إِلَيْهَا وَ لَا رَغْبَةٍ مِنْكَ فِيْهَا إِلَّا تَعْظِيمًا وَ طَاعَةً وَ إِجَابَةً لَّكَ إِلىٰ مَا أَمَرْتَنِي
Oh Allah, this is the prayer that I have offered to thee. In offering it I have no need from Thee and no personal wish from Thee except to bow down (before Thy majesty) and to obey Thee and to comply with what Thou hast commanded me.
إِلَهِي إِنْ كَانَ فِيْهَا خَلَلٌ أَوْ نَقْصٌ مِنْ رُكُوْعِهَا أَوْ سُجُوْدِهَا أَوْ قِیَامِھَا أَوْ قُعُوْدِھَا فَلَا تُؤَاخِذْنِي وَ تَفَضَّلْ عَلَيَّ بِالْقَبُوْلِ وَ الْغُفْرَانِ بِرَحْمَتِكَ يَا أَرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمِيْنَ‏.
“ Oh Allah, do not punish me if there has been any flaw or defect in my bowings, my prostrations or my standings or sittings, and bestow Thy grace on me by Thy acceptance and forgiveness by Thy mercy. Oh Most Merciful of the Merciful!”
9.Then recite the following:A'ooza be'izzatil-lahe
أَعُوْذُ بِعِزَّةِ اللہِ وَ أَعُوْذُ بِقُدْرَةِ اللہ وَ أَعُوْذُ بِمَغْفِرَةِ اللہِ وَ أَعُوْذُ بِرَحْمَةِ اللہِ وَ أَعُوْذُ بِسُلْطَانِ اللہِ الَّذِيْ‏ هُوَ عَلىٰ‏ كُلِّ شَيْ‏ءٍ قَدِيْرٌوَ
A'ooza be'izzatil-lahe wa a'oozo be-qoodaratil-lahe wa a'oozo be-magh-firatil-lahe wa a'oozo be-rahmatil-lahe, wa a'oozo be-sooltanil-lahil-lazi-hova ala koolle shai'in qadeer.
“I seek refuge in the might of Allah, and I seek refuge in the power of Allah, and I seek refuge in the forgiveness of Allah, and I seek refuge in the mercy of Allah, I seek refuge in the dominion of Allah, He Who has power over all things

أَعُوْذُ بِكَرَمِ اللہِ وَ أَعُوْذُ بِجَمْعِ اللہِ مِنْ شَرِّ كُلِّ جَبَّارٍ عَنِيْدٍ وَ شَيْطَانٍ مَرِيْدٍ وَ كُلِّ مُغْتَالٍ وَ سَارِقٍ وَ عَارِضٍ
Wa a'o-ozo be - karamil-lahe wa a'ooze be jamillahes min sharre koolle jabbarin aneedin wa shaitanin mareed , koolle mookh-talin wa sare-qin wa arezin
and I seek refuge in the mercy of Allah from the evil of all strong tyrants and the rebellious Shaitan, and all persons who attack from ambush, thieves and all accidents;

وَ مِنْ شَرِّ السَّامَّةِ وَ الْهَامَّةِ وَ الْعَامَّةِ
wa min sharris saam-mate val-haam-mate val-aam mate,
and from the poisonous animals, and noxious insects and reptiles and evil of the common people

وَ مِنْ شَرِّ كُلِّ دَابَّةٍ صَغِيْرَةٍ وَ كَبِيْرَةٍ بِلَيْلٍ أَوْ نَهَارٍ
wa min sharre koolle daab-batin saghiratin av kabiratin be lailin wa naharin,
and from the menace of the small and big beasts in the nigh or in the day;

وَ مِنْ شَرِّ فُسَّاقِ الْعَرَبِ وَ الْعَجَمِ وَ فُجَّارِهِمْ
wa min sharre foossaquil-arabe val-aajame wa foojjarehim,
and from the evil of the transgressors of Arab and non-Arabs and their sinners,

وَ مِنْ شَرِّ فَسَقَةِ الْجِنِّ وَ الْإِنْسِ
wa min sharre fasaqatit jinne val-inse,
and from the evil of the transgressors among Jinn and men

وَ مِنْ شَرِّ كُلِّ دَابَّةٍ رَبِّي‏ آخِذٌ بِنَاصِيَتِهَا إِنَّ رَبِّي عَلىٰ‏ صِرَاطٍ مُسْتَقِيْمٍ‏.
wa min sharre koolle daab-batin anta aakhizoon benasiyateha inna rabbi ala siratim moostaqeem
and from the evil of all living creatures which Thou holds by their forelock. Surely straight is the path of my Lord”.
10.Then recite the following:Oh Allah! By the truth of Muhammad
اَللّٰهُمَّ بِحَقِّ مُحَمَّدٍ وَّ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ صَلِّ عَلىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وَّ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ
“Oh Allah! By the truth of Muhammad and the progeny of Muhammad, bless Muhammad and the progeny of Muhammad;

وَ لَا تُؤْمِنَّا مَكْرَكَ وَ لَا تُنْسِنَا ذِكْرَكَ وَ لَا تَكْشِفْ عَنَّا سِتْرَكَ
and save me from Thy plan; and make us not forgetful of Thy remembrance;and do not disclose our defects which Thou has concealed;

وَ لَا تَحْرِمْنَا فَضْلَكَ‏ وَ لَا تُحِلَّ عَلَيْنَا غَضَبَكَ وَ لَا تُبَاعِدْنَا مِنْ جِوَارِكَ وَ لَا تَنْقُصْنَا مِنْ رَحْمَتِكَ
and do not deprive us of Thy grace; and do not bring down Thy wrath on us; and do not send us away from Thy vicinity and do not diminish Thy mercy on us;

وَ لَا تَنْزِعْ مِنَّا بَرَكَتَكَ وَ لَا تَمْنَعْنَا عَافِيَتَكَ وَ أَصْلِحْ لَنَا مَا أَعْطَيْتَنَا
and do not deflect Thy blessing from us; and do not deprive us of Thy salvation and set aright what thou has given us;

وَ زِدْنَا مِنْ فَضْلِكَ الْمُبَارَكِ الطَّيِّبِ الْحَسَنِ الْجَمِيْلِ وَ لَا تُغَيِّرْ مَا بِنَا مِنْ نِعْمَتِكَ وَ لَا تُؤْيِسْنَا مِنْ رَوْحِكَ وَ لَا تُهِنَّا بَعْدَ كَرَامَتِكَ
and increase Thy blessed, excellent and fine bounty on us; and do not alter thy blessings which we possess and do not remove us away from Thy abundance for undoubtedly thou art most generous;

وَ لَا تُضِلَّنَا بَعْدَ إِذْ هَدَيْتَنا وَ هَبْ لَنا مِنْ لَدُنْكَ رَحْمَةً إِنَّكَ أَنْتَ الْوَهَّابُ‏
and do not let us go astray after thou hast guided us aright; and grant us from Thee mercy. Verily, Thou are Most generous.

اَللّٰهُمَّ اجْعَلْ قُلُوْبَنَا سَالِمَةً وَ أَرْوَاحَنَا طَيِّبَةً وَ أَزْوَاجَنَا مُطَهَّرَةً وَ أَلْسِنَتَنَا صَادِقَةً وَ إِيْمَانَنَا دَائِماً وَ يَقِيْنَنَا صَادِقاً وَ تِجَارَتَنَا لَا تَبُورُ
Oh Allah! make our hearts obedient to Thee and our souls good, and keep our wives chaste, and make our tongues truthful and our belief lasting and our certainty sincere and do not destroy our livelihood

اللَّهُمَ‏ آتِنَا فِي الدُّنْيَا حَسَنَةً وَ فِي الْآخِرَةِ حَسَنَةً وَ قِنَا عَذَابَ النَّارِ.
our Lord! Grant us good in the world and good in the hereafter, and save us from the chastisement of the fire”.
11.Then recite the following: (English only available)
“Oh Allah! I ask Thee for joyful patience, great reward; sincere turning; a remembering tongue; forbearing body; increased subsistence beneficial knowledge and good action; granted supplication; forgiven sin; honest livelihood; decent children; wholesome cure; a blessed destination; a victory close at hand; and lasting bliss and the Paradise, and silk, and freshness and vigour, and delight, by Thy mercy, Oh Most Merciful of the Merciful!”
