بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

bismill¡hi alrra¦m¡ni alrra¦¢mi

In the Name of Allah; the All-beneficent, the All-merciful.

سُبْحَانَ ٱللَّهِ

sub¦¡na all¡hi

All Glory be to Allah,

وَٱلْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ

wal¦amdu lill¡hi

all praise be to Allah,

وَلاَ إِلٰهَ إِلاَّ ٱللَّهُ

wa l¡ il¡ha ill¡ all¡hu

there is no god save Allah,

وَٱللَّهُ اكْبَرُ

wall¡hu akbaru

Allah is the Greatest,

وَلاَ حَوْلَ وَلاَ قُوَّةَ إِلاَّ بِٱللَّهِ ٱلْعَلِيِّ ٱلْعَظِيمِ

wa l¡ ¦awla wa l¡ quwwata ill¡ bill¡hi al`aliyyi al`a¨¢mi

there is neither power nor might save with Allah, the Most High, the All-magnificent.

سُبْحَانَ ٱللَّهِ آنَاءَ ٱللَّيْلِ وَاطْرَافَ ٱلنَّهَارِ

sub¦¡na all¡hi ¡n¡'a allayli wa a§r¡fa alnnah¡ri

Glory be to Allah in hours of the night and at the two ends of the day.

سُبْحَانَ ٱللَّهِ بِٱلْغُدُوِّ وَٱلآصَالِ

sub¦¡na all¡hi bilghuduwwi wal-¡¥¡li

Glory be to Allah in the morning and the evening hours.

سُبْحَانَ ٱللَّهِ بِٱلْعَشِيِّ وَٱلإِبْكَارِ

sub¦¡na all¡hi bil`ashiyyi wal-ibk¡ri

Glory be to Allah in the early hours of night and morning.

سُبْحَانَ ٱللَّهِ حِينَ تُمْسُونَ وَحِينَ تُصْبِحُونَ

sub¦¡na all¡hi ¦¢na tums£na wa ¦¢na tu¥bi¦£na

Glory be to Allah when you enter the night and when you enter the morning.

وَلَهُ ٱلْحَمْدُ فِي ٱلسَّمَاوَاتِ وَٱلارْضِ

wa lah£ al¦amdu f¢ alssam¡w¡ti wal-ar¤i

Unto Him be praise in the heavens, the earth,

وَعَشِيّاً وَحِينَ تُظْهِرُونَ

wa `ashiyyan wa ¦¢na tu¨hir£na

at the sun's decline, and in the noonday.

يُخْرِجُ ٱلْحَيَّ مِنَ ٱلمَيِّتِ

yukhriju al¦ayya mina almayyiti

He brings forth the living from the dead,

وَيُخْرِجُ ٱلْمَيِّتَ مِنَ ٱلحَيِّ

wa yukhriju almayyita mina al¦ayyi

brings forth the dead from the living,

وَيُحْيِي ٱلارْضَ بَعْدَ مَوْتِهَا

wa yu¦y¢ al-ar¤a ba`da mawtih¡

revives the earth after its death,

وَكَذٰلِكَ  تُخْرَجُونَ

wa kadh¡lika tukhraj£na

and even so will you be brought forth.

سُبْحَانَ رَبِّكَ رَبِّ ٱلْعِزَّةِ عَمَّا يَصِفُونَ

sub¦¡na rabbika rabbi al`izzati `amm¡ ya¥if£na

Glorified be Your Lord, the Lord of Majesty, from that which they attribute (to Him).

وَسَلاَمٌ عَلَىٰ ٱلْمُرْسَلِينَ

wa sal¡mun `al¡ almursal¢na

Peace be upon the Messengers.

وَٱلْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ ٱلْعَالَمِينَ

wal¦amdu lill¡hi rabbi al`¡lam¢na

All praise be to Allah, the Lord of the Worlds.

سُبْحَانَ ذِي ٱلْمُلْكِ وَٱلْمَلَكُوتِ

sub¦¡na dh¢ almulki walmalak£ti

Glory be to the Lord of Kingdom and Realm.

سُبْحَانَ ذِي ٱلْعِزَّةِ وَٱلْجَبَرُوتِ

sub¦¡na dh¢ al`izzati waljabar£ti

Glory be to the Lord of Majesty and Magnificence.

سُبْحَانَ ذِي ٱلْكِبْرِيَاءِ وَٱلْعَظَمَةِ

sub¦¡na dh¢ alkibriy¡'i wal`a¨amati

Glory be to the Lord of Greatness and Magnitude;

ٱلْمَلِكِ ٱلْحَقِّ ٱلْمُهَيْمِنِ ٱلْقُدُّوسِ

almaliki al¦aqqi almuhaymini alqudd£si

the True Sovereign, the Guardian, and the Holy.

سُبْحَانَ ٱللَّهِ ٱلْمَلِكِ ٱلْحَيِّ ٱلَّذِي لاَ يَمُوتُ

sub¦¡na all¡hi almaliki al¦ayyi alladh¢ l¡ yam£tu

Glory be to Allah, the Sovereign, the Ever-living Who never dies.

سُبْحَانَ ٱللَّهِ ٱلْمَلِكِ ٱلْحَيِّ ٱلْقُدُّوسِ

sub¦¡na all¡hi almaliki al¦ayyi alqudd£si

Glory be to Allah, the Ever-living, the Holy.

سُبْحَانَ ٱلْقَائِمِ ٱلدَّائِمِ

sub¦¡na alq¡'imi aldd¡'imi

Glory be to the Self-Existent, the Eternal.

سُبْحَانَ ٱلدَّائِمِ ٱلْقَائِمِ

sub¦¡na aldd¡'imi alq¡'imi

Glory be to the Eternal, the Self-Existent.

سُبْحَانَ رَبِّيَ ٱلْعَظِيمِ

sub¦¡na rabbiya al`a¨¢mi

Glory be to my Lord, the Most Great.

سُبْحَانَ رَبِّيَ ٱلاعْلَىٰ

sub¦¡na rabbiya al-a`l¡

Glory be to my Lord, the Most High.

سُبْحَانَ ٱلْحَيِّ ٱلْقَيُّومِ

sub¦¡na al¦ayyi alqayy£mi

Glory be to the Ever-living, the Self-Existent.

سُبْحَانَ ٱلْعَلِيِّ ٱلاعْلَىٰ

sub¦¡na al`aliyyi al-a`l¡

Glory be to the Exalted, the Most High.

سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَىٰ

sub¦¡nah£ wa ta`¡l¡

Glory be to Him, and Exalted be Him.

سُبُّوحٌ قُدُّوسٌ

subb£¦un qudd£sun

Glorified (is He), Holy (is He),

رَبُّنَا وَرَبُّ ٱلْمَلاَئِكَةِ وَٱلرُّوحِ

rabbun¡ wa rabbu almal¡'ikati walrr£¦i

Our Lord, and the Lord of the angels and the Spirit.

سُبْحَانَ ٱلدَّائِمِ غَيْرِ ٱلْغَافِلِ

sub¦¡na aldd¡'imi ghayri algh¡fili

Glory be to the Eternal Who never forgets.

سُبْحَانَ ٱلْعَالِمِ بِغَيْرِ تَعْلِيمٍ

sub¦¡na al`¡limi bighayri ta`l¢min

Glory be to the All-knowing Who does not need teaching.

سُبْحَانَ خَالِقِ مَا يُرَىٰ وَمَا لاَ يُرَىٰ

sub¦¡na kh¡liqi m¡ yur¡ wa m¡ l¡ yur¡

Glory be to the Creator of all seen and unseen beings.

سُبْحَانَ ٱلَّذِي يُدْرِكُ ٱلابْصَارَ

sub¦¡na alladh¢ yudriku al-ab¥¡ra

Glory be to Him Who comprehends all visions,

وَلاَ تُدْرِكُهُ ٱلابْصَارُ

wa l¡ tudrikuh£ al-ab¥¡ru

but visions cannot comprehend Him,

وَهُوَ ٱللَّطِيفُ ٱلْخَبِيرُ

wa huwa alla§¢fu alkhab¢ru

and He is the Knower of subtleties, the Aware.

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي اصْبَحْتُ مِنْكَ فِي نِعْمَةٍ وَخَيْرٍ

all¡humma inn¢ a¥ba¦tu minka f¢ ni`matin wa khayrin

O Allah, I begin my day covered with grace and favor from You

وَبَرَكَةٍ وَعَافِيَةٍ

wa barakatin wa `¡fiyatin

as well as blessing and good health.

فَصَلِّ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِهِ

fa¥alli `al¡ mu¦ammadin wa ¡lih¢

So, (please) bless Mu¦ammad and his Household,

وَاتْمِمْ عَلَيَّ نِعْمَتَكَ وَخَيْرَكَ

wa atmim `alayya ni`mataka wa khayraka

make perfect Your grace and favor for me

وَبَرَكَاتِكَ وَعَافِيَتَكَ

wa barak¡tika wa `¡fiyataka

as well as Your blessings and good health,

بِنَجَاةٍ مِنَ النَّارِ

binaj¡tin mina alnn¡ri

through redemption from Hellfire,

وَٱرْزُقْنِي شُكْرَكَ وَعَافِيَتَكَ

warzuqn¢ shukraka wa `¡fiyataka

grant me thanksgiving to You, enjoyment of wellbeing from You,

وَفَضْلَكَ وَكَرَامَتَكَ ابَداً مَا ابْقَيْتَنِي

wa fa¤laka wa kar¡mataka abadan m¡ abqaytan¢

Your grace, and Your honor permanently so long as You decide to keep me alive.

اَللَّهُمَّ بِنُورِكَ ٱهْتَدَيْتُ

all¡humma bin£rika ihtadaytu

O Allah, only by Your Light have I been guided,

وَبِفَضْلِكَ ٱسْتَغْنَيْتُ

wa bifa¤lika istaghnaytu

only by Your grace have I been opulent,

وَبِنِعْمَتِكَ اصْبَحْتُ وَامْسَيْتُ

wa bini`matika a¥ba¦tu wa amsaytu

and only by Your grace have I lived in eves and morns.

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي اشْهِدُكَ وَكَفَىٰ بِكَ شَهِيداً

all¡humma inn¢ ush-hiduka wa kaf¡ bika shah¢dan

O Allah, I ask You to witness for me, and You are surely sufficient as a witness,

وَاشْهِدُ مَلاَئِكَتَكَ وَانْبِيَاءَكَ وَرُسُلَكَ

wa ush-hidu mal¡'ikataka wa anbiy¡'aka wa rusulaka

and I also choose as witnesses Your angels, Prophets, Messengers,

وَحَمَلَةَ عَرْشِكَ وَسُكَّانَ سَمَاوَاتِكَ وَارْضِكَ

wa ¦amalata `arshika wa sukk¡na sam¡w¡tika wa ar¤ika

the bearers of Your Throne, the inhabitants of Your heavens and earth,

وَجَمِيعَ خَلْقِكَ

wa jam¢`a khalqika

and all Your creatures,

بِانَّكَ انْتَ ٱللَّهُ لاَ إِلٰهَ إِلاَّ انْتَ

bi'annaka anta all¡hu l¡ il¡ha ill¡ anta

that You are Allah, there is no god save You,

وَحْدَكَ لاَ شَرِيكَ لَكَ

wa¦daka l¡ shar¢ka laka

One and Only Lord, having no partner,

وَانَّ مُحَمَّداً صَلَّىٰ ٱللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ عَبْدُكَ وَرَسُولُكَ

wa anna mu¦ammadan ¥all¡ all¡hu `alayhi wa ¡lih¢ `abduka wa ras£luka

and that Mu¦ammad, peace be upon him and his Household, is Your servant and Messenger,

وَانَّكَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيْ ءٍ قَدِيرٌ

wa annaka `al¡ kulli shay'in qad¢run

and that You have power over all things;

تُحْيِي وَتُمِيتُ وَتُمِيتُ وَتُحْيِي

tu¦y¢ wa tum¢tu wa tum¢tu wa tu¦y¢

You grant life and cause to die and You cause to die and grant life;

وَاشْهَدُ انَّ ٱلْجَنَّةَ حَقٌّ

wa ash-hadu anna aljannata ¦aqqun

and I witness that Paradise is true,

وَانَّ ٱلنَّارَ حَقٌّ

wa anna alnn¡ra ¦aqqun

Hellfire is true,

وَانَّ ٱلنُّشُورَ حَقٌ

wa anna alnnush£ra ¦aqqun

Resurrection is true,

وَٱلسَّاعَةَ آتِيَةٌ لاَ رَيْبَ فِيهَا

walss¡`ata ¡tiyatun l¡ rayba f¢h¡

the Hour is coming, there is no doubt about it,

وَانَّ ٱللَّهَ يَبْعَثُ مَنْ فِي ٱلْقُبُورِ

wa anna all¡ha yab`athu man f¢ alqub£ri

and Allah shall raise up those who are in graves.

وَاشْهَدُ انَّ عَلِيَّ بْنَ ابِي طَالِبٍ امِيرُ ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ حَقّاً حَقّاً

wa ash-hadu anna `aliyya bna ab¢ §¡libin am¢ru almu'min¢na ¦aqqan ¦aqqan

I also witness that `Al¢ the son of Ab£-±¡lib is truly the commander of the faithful, indeed,

وَانَّ ٱلائِمَّةَ مِنْ وُلْدِهِ هُمُ ٱلائِمَّةُ ٱلْهُدَاةُ ٱلْمَهْدِيُّونَ

wa anna al-a'immata min wuldih¢ hum al-a'immatu alhud¡tu almahdiyy£na

the Imams from his offspring are the guides, leaders, and well-guided,

غَيْرُ ٱلضَّالِّينَ وَلاَ ٱلْمُضِلِّينَ

ghayru al¤¤¡ll¢na wa l¡ almu¤ill¢na

neither straying off nor misleading,

وَانَّهُمْ اوْلِيَاؤُكَ ٱلْمُصْطَفَوْنَ

wa annahum awliy¡'uka almu¥§afawna

and they are Your chosen representatives,

وَحِزْبُكَ ٱلْغَالِبُونَ

wa ¦izbuka algh¡lib£na

Your triumphant party,

وَصِفْوَتُكَ وَخِيَرَتُكَ مِنْ خَلْقِكَ

wa ¥ifwatuka wa khiyaratuka min khalqika

Your choice, the most favorable of all Your creatures,

وَنُجَبَاؤُكَ ٱلَّذِينَ ٱنْتَجَبْتَهُمْ لِدِينِكَ

wa nujab¡'uka alladh¢na intajabtahum lid¢nika

the superior ones whom You have selected for Your religion,

وَٱخْتَصَصْتَهُمْ مِنْ خَلْقِكَ

wakhta¥a¥tahum min khalqika

decided on from among Your beings,

وَٱصْطَفَيْتَهُمْ عَلَىٰ عِبَادِكَ

wa¥§afaytahum `al¡ `ib¡dika

chosen from among Your servants,

وَجَعَلْتَهُمْ حُجَّةً عَلَىٰ ٱلْعَالَمِينَ

wa ja`altahum ¦ujjatan `al¡ al`¡lam¢na

and made Claims against all beings.

صَلَوَاتُكَ عَلَيْهِمْ وَٱلسَّلاَمُ وَرَحْمَةُ ٱللَّهِ وَبَرَكَاتُهُ

¥alaw¡tuka `alayhim wa alssal¡mu wa ra¦matu all¡hi wa barak¡tuh£

May Your consent, peace, mercy, and blessings be upon them.

اللَّهُمَّ ٱكْتُبْ لِي هٰذِهِ ٱلشَّهَادَةَ عِنْدَكَ

all¡humma iktub l¢ h¡dhih¢ alshshah¡data `indaka

O Allah, (please do) certify this witness for me with You

حَتَّىٰ تُلَقِّنَنِيهَا يَوْمَ ٱلْقِيَامَةِ وَانْتَ عَنِّي رَاضٍ

¦att¡ tulaqqinan¢h¡ yawma alqiy¡mati wa anta `ann¢ r¡¤in

so that You shall give it back to me on the Resurrection Day while You are pleased with me.

إِنَّكَ عَلَىٰ مَا تَشَاءُ قَدِيرٌ

innaka `al¡ m¡ tash¡'u qad¢run

Verily, You have power over all that which You will.

اللَّهُمَّ لَكَ ٱلْحَمْدُ حَمْداً يَصْعَدُ اوَّلُهُ وَلاَ يَنْفَدُ آخِرُهُ

all¡humma laka al¦amdu ¦amdan ya¥`adu awwaluh£ wa l¡ yanfadu ¡khiruh£

O Allah, to You be praise the first of which ascends while its end is infinite.

اللَّهُمَّ لَكَ ٱلْحَمْدُ حَمْداً تَضَعُ لَكَ ٱلسَّمَاءُ كَنَفَيْهَا

all¡humma laka al¦amdu ¦amdan ta¤a`u laka alssam¡'u kanafayh¡

O Allah, to You be praise due to which the heavens humbles itself to You

وَتُسَبِّحُ لَكَ ٱلارْضُ وَمَنْ عَلَيْهَا

wa tusabbi¦u laka al-ar¤u wa man `alayh¡

and the earth as well as all those on it glorify You.

اللَّهُمَّ لَكَ ٱلْحَمْدُ حَمْداً سَرْمَداً ابَداً

all¡humma laka al¦amdu ¦amdan sarmadan abadan

O Allah, to You be praise—eternal, endless,

لاَ ٱنْقِطَاعَ لَهُ وَلاَ نَفَادَ

l¡ inqi§¡`a lah£ wa l¡ naf¡da

having neither cessation nor exhaustion,

وَلَكَ يَنْبَغِي وَإِلَيْكَ يَنْتَهِي

wa laka yanbagh¢ wa ilayka yantah¢

fitting You, and being dedicated to You,

فِيَّ وَعَلَيَّ وَلَدَيَّ

fiyya wa `alayya wa ladayya

about me, on (Your favors to) me, with me,

وَمَعِي وَقَبْلِي وَبَعْدِي

wa ma`¢ wa qabl¢ wa ba`d¢

along with me, before me, after me,

وَامَامِي وَفَوْقِي وَتَحْتِي

wa am¡m¢ wa fawq¢ wa ta¦t¢

in front of me, over me, beneath me,

وَإِذَا مِتُّ وَبَقِيتُ فَرْداً وَحِيداً ثُمَّ فَنِيتُ

wa idh¡ mittu wa baq¢tu fardan wa¦¢dan thumma fan¢tu

when I die, remain totally alone, and will be then terminated.

وَلَكَ ٱلْحَمْدُ إِذَا نُشِرْتُ وَبُعِثْتُ

wa laka al¦amdu idh¡ nushirtu wa bu`ithtu

To You be all praise when I shall be resurrected and raised up (from grave).

يَا مَوْلاَيَ اللَّهُمَ وَلَكَ ٱلْحَمْدُ

y¡ mawl¡ya all¡humma wa laka al¦amdu

O my Lord, O Allah, to You be all praise

وَلَكَ ٱلشُّكْرُ بِجَمِيعِ مَحَامِدِكَ كُلِّهَا

wa laka alshshukru bijam¢`i ma¦¡midika kullih¡

and all thanks in all forms of praising You

عَلَىٰ جَمِيعِ نَعْمَائِكَ كُلِّهَا

`al¡ jam¢`i na`m¡'ika kullih¡

for all Your favors

حَتَّىٰ يَنْتَهِيَ ٱلْحَمْدُ إِلَىٰ مَا تُحِبُّ رَبَّنَا وَتَرْضَىٰ

¦att¡ yantahiya al¦amdu il¡ m¡ tu¦ibbu rabban¡ wa tar¤¡

until (this) praise achieves the pleasure and satisfaction of You, O our Lord.

اللَّهُمَّ لَكَ ٱلْحَمْدُ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ اكْلَةٍ وَشَرْبَةٍ

all¡humma laka al¦amdu `al¡ kulli aklatin wa sharbatin

O Allah, to You be all praise for each and every food, drink,

وَبَطْشَةٍ وَقَبْضَةٍ

wa ba§shatin wa qab¤atin

power, grip,

وَبَسْطَةٍ وَفِي كُلِّ مَوْضِعِ شَعْرَةٍ

wa bas§atin wa f¢ kulli maw¤i`i sha`ratin

extension, and for each place of a single hair.

اللَّهُمَّ لَكَ ٱلْحَمْدُ حَمْداً خَالِداً مَعَ خُلُودِكَ

all¡humma laka al¦amdu ¦amdan kh¡lidan ma`a khul£dika

O Allah, to You be all praise that is as eternal as You are.

وَلَكَ ٱلْحَمْدُ حَمْداً لاَ مُنْتَهَىٰ لَهُ دُونَ عِلْمِكَ

wa laka al¦amdu ¦amdan l¡ muntah¡ lah£ d£na `ilmika

To You be all praise that never ends save Your knowledge (about it).

وَلَكَ ٱلْحَمْدُ حَمْداً لاَ امَدَ لَهُ دُونَ مَشِيَّتِكَ

wa laka al¦amdu ¦amdan l¡ amada lah£ d£na mash¢'atika

To You be all praise that has no limit save when You will.

وَلَكَ ٱلْحَمْدُ حَمْداً لاَ اجْرَ لِقَائِلِهِ إِلاَّ رِضَاكَ

wa laka al¦amdu ¦amdan l¡ ajra liq¡'ilih¢ ill¡ ri¤¡ka

To You be all praise the one and only reward of its sayer is nothing save Your pleasure.

وَلَكَ ٱلْحَمْدُ عَلَىٰ حِلْمِكَ بَعْدَ عِلْمِكَ

wa laka al¦amdu `al¡ ¦ilmika ba`da `ilmika

To You be all praise for You act forbearingly though You know.

وَلَكَ ٱلْحَمْدُ عَلَىٰ عَفْوِكَ بَعْدَ قُدْرَتِكَ

wa laka al¦amdu `al¡ `afwika ba`da qudratika

To You be all praise for You pardon though You have power (not to do).

وَلَكَ ٱلْحَمْدُ بَاعِثَ ٱلْحَمْدِ

wa laka al¦amdu b¡`itha al¦amdi

To You be all praise and You are the source of praise.

وَلَكَ ٱلْحَمْدُ وَارِثَ ٱلْحَمْدِ

wa laka al¦amdu w¡ritha al¦amdi

To You be all praise and You are the inheritor of praise.

وَلَكَ ٱلْحَمْدُ بَدِيعَ ٱلْحَمْدِ

wa laka al¦amdu bad¢`a al¦amdi

To You be all praise and You are the fashioner of praise.

وَلَكَ ٱلْحَمْدُ مُنْتَهَىٰ ٱلْحَمْدِ

wa laka al¦amdu muntah¡ al¦amdi

To You be all praise and You are the utmost of praise.

وَلَكَ ٱلْحَمْدُ مُبْتَدِعَ ٱلْحَمْدِ

wa laka al¦amdu mubtadi`a al¦amdi

To You be all praise and You are the author of praise.

وَلَكَ ٱلْحَمْدُ مُشْتَرِيَ ٱلْحَمْدِ

wa laka al¦amdu mushtariya al¦amdi

To You be all praise and You are the object of praise.

وَلَكَ ٱلْحَمْدُ وَلِيَّ ٱلْحَمْدِ

wa laka al¦amdu waliyya al¦amdi

To You be all praise and You are the lord of praise.

وَلَكَ ٱلْحَمْدُ قَدِيمَ ٱلْحَمْدِ

wa laka al¦amdu qad¢ma al¦amdi

To You be all praise and You are the ultimate objective of praise.

وَلَكَ ٱلْحَمْدُ صَادِقَ ٱلْوَعْدِ وَفِيَّ ٱلْعَهْدِ

wa laka al¦amdu ¥¡diqa alwa`di wafiyya al`ahdi

To You be all praise and You are truthful in promise, fulfiller of pledge,

عَزِيزَ ٱلْجُنْدِ قَائِمَ ٱلْمَجْدِ

`az¢za aljundi q¡'ima almajdi

mighty in power, and subsistingly glorious.

وَلَكَ ٱلْحَمْدُ رَفِيعَ ٱلدَّرَجَاتِ مُجِيبَ ٱلدَّعَوَاتِ

wa laka al¦amdu raf¢`a alddaraj¡ti muj¢ba aldda`aw¡ti

To You be all praise and You are the highest in ranks, the responsive to prayers,

مُنَزِّلَ ٱلآيَاتِ مِنْ فَوْقِ سَبْعِ سَمَاوَاتٍ

munazzila al-¡y¡ti min fawqi sab`i sam¡w¡tin

the descender of sings (or Verses) from above seven skies,

عَظِيمَ ٱلْبَرَكَاتِ

`a¨¢ma albarak¡ti

the grantor of outstanding blessings,

مُخْرِجَ ٱلنُّورِ مِنَ ٱلظُّلُمَاتِ

mukhrija alnn£ri mina al¨¨ulum¡ti

the bringer forth of light from utter darkness,

وَمُخْرِجَ مَنْ فِي ٱلظُّلُمَاتِ إِلَىٰ ٱلنُّورِ

wa mukhrija man f¢ al¨¨ulum¡ti il¡ alnn£ri

the bringer forth of those who are in darkness to light,

مُبَدِّلَ ٱلسَّيِّئَاتِ حَسَنَاتٍ

mubaddla alssayyi'¡ti ¦asan¡tin

the changer of evil deeds into good deeds,

وَجَاعِلَ ٱلْحَسَنَاتِ دَرَجَاتٍ

wa j¡`ila al¦asan¡ti daraj¡tin

and the maker of good deeds raise to high ranks.

اَللَّهُمَّ لَكَ ٱلْحَمْدُ غَافِرَ ٱلذَّنْبِ وَقَابِلَ ٱلتَّوْبِ

all¡humma laka al¦amdu gh¡fira aldhdhanbi wa q¡bila alttawbi

O Allah, to You be all praise and You are the Forgiver of the faults, the Acceptor of repentance,

شَدِيدَ ٱلْعِقَابِ ذَا ٱلطَّوْلِ

shad¢da al`iq¡bi dhal§§awli

severe to punish, and Lord of bounty.

لاَ إِلٰهَ إِلاَّ انْتَ إِلَيْكَ ٱلْمَصِيرُ

l¡ il¡ha ill¡ anta ilayka alma¥¢ru

There is no god save You; to You shall be the return.

اَللَّهُمَّ لَكَ ٱلْحَمْدُ فِي ٱللَّيْلِ إِذَا يَغْشَىٰ

all¡humma laka al¦amdu f¢ allayli idh¡ yaghsh¡

O Allah, to You be all praise in the night when it draws a veil.

وَلَكَ ٱلْحَمْدُ فِي ٱلنَّهَارِ إِذَا تَجَلَّىٰ

wa laka al¦amdu f¢ alnnah¡ri idh¡ tajall¡

To You be all praise in the day when it shines in brightness.

وَلَكَ ٱلْحَمْدُ فِي ٱلآخِرَةِ وَٱلاولَىٰ

wa laka al¦amdu f¢ al-¡khirati wal-£l¡

To You be all praise in the Hereafter and the former life.

وَلَكَ ٱلْحَمْدُ عَدَدَ كُلِّ نَجْمٍ وَمَلَكٍ فِي ٱلسَّمَاءِ

wa laka al¦amdu `adada kulli najmin wa malakin f¢ alssam¡'i

To You be all praise as many as the numbers of all stars and angels in the heavens.

وَلَكَ ٱلْحَمْدُ عَدَدَ ٱلثَّرَىٰ وَٱلْحَصَىٰ وَٱلنَّوَىٰ

wa laka al¦amdu `adada alththar¡ wal¦a¥¡ walnnaw¡

To You be all praise as much as dust and as many as pebbles and seeds.

وَلَكَ ٱلْحَمْدُ عَدَدَ مَا فِي جَوِّ ٱلسَّمَاءِ

wa laka al¦amdu `adada m¡ f¢ jawwi alssam¡'i

To You be all praise as many as all that which is in the air.

وَلَكَ ٱلْحَمْدُ عَدَدَ مَا فِي جَوْفِ ٱلارْضِ

wa laka al¦amdu `adada m¡ f¢ jawfi al-ar¤i

To You be all praise as many as all that which is in the interior of the earth.

وَلَكَ ٱلْحَمْدُ عَدَدَ اوْزَانِ مِيَاهِ ٱلْبِحَارِ

wa laka al¦amdu `adada awz¡ni miy¡hi albi¦¡ri

To You be all praise as much as the weight of sea water.

وَلَكَ ٱلْحَمْدُ عَدَدَ اوْرَاقِ ٱلاشْجَارِ

wa laka al¦amdu `adada awr¡qi al-ashj¡ri

To You be all praise as many as leaves of trees.

وَلَكَ ٱلْحَمْدُ عَدَدَ مَا عَلَىٰ وَجْهِ ٱلارْضِ

wa laka al¦amdu `adada m¡ `al¡ wajhi al-ar¤i

To You be all praise as many as all that which exists on the earth surface.

وَلَكَ ٱلْحَمْدُ عَدَدَ مَا احْصَىٰ كِتَابُكَ

wa laka al¦amdu `adada m¡ a¦¥¡ kit¡buka

To You be all praise as much as that which has been counted by Your Book.

وَلَكَ ٱلْحَمْدُ عَدَدَ مَا احَاطَ بِهِ عِلْمُكَ

wa laka al¦amdu `adada m¡ a¦¡§a bih¢ `ilmuka

To You be all praise as much as all that which is comprehended by Your Knowledge.

وَلَكَ ٱلْحَمْدُ عَدَدَ ٱلإِنْسِ وَٱلْجِنِّ

wa laka al¦amdu `adada al-insi waljinni

To You be all praise as many as the numbers of men, jinn,

وَٱلْهَوَامِّ وَٱلطَّيْرِ وَٱلْبَهَائِمِ وَٱلسِّبَاعِ

walhaw¡mmi wal§§ayri walbah¡'imi walssib¡`i

pests, birds, animals, and beasts—

حَمْداً كَثِيراً طَيِّباً

¦amdan kath¢ran §ayyiban

praise that is abundant, pleasant,

مُبَارَكاً فِيهِ كَمَا تُحِبُّ رَبَّنَا وَتَرْضَىٰ

mub¡rakan f¢hi kam¡ tu¦ibbu rabban¡ wa tar¤¡

and as blessed as You, our Lord, please and gratify

وَكَمَا يَنْبَغِي لِكَرَمِ وَجْهِكَ وَعِزِّ جَلاَلِكَ

wa kam¡ yanbagh¢ likarami wajhika wa `izzi jal¡lika

so much so that it befits the majesty of Your Face and the dignity of Your splendor.

لاَ إِلٰهَ إِلاَّ ٱللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ لاَ شَرِيكَ لَهُ لَهُ ٱلْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ ٱلْحَمْدُ وَهُوَ ٱللَّطِيفُ ٱلْخَبِيرُ

l¡ il¡ha ill¡ all¡hu wa¦dah£ l¡ shar¢ka lah£ lah£ almulku wa lah£ al¦amdu wa huwa alla§¢fu alkhab¢ru

There is no god save Allah; One and Only and having no partner. To Him is the Kingdom and to Him is (all) praise. He is the Knower of subtleties, the Aware.

 لاَ إِلٰهَ إِلاَّ اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ لاَ شَرِيكَ لَهُ لَهُ ٱلْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ ٱلْحَمْدُ يُحْيِي وَيُمِيتُ وَيُمِيتُ وَيُحْيِي وَهُوَحَيٌّ لاَ يَمُوتُ بِيَدِهِ ٱلْخَيْرُ وَهُوَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ

l¡ il¡ha ill¡ all¡hu wa¦dah£ l¡ shar¢ka lah£ lah£ almulku wa lah£ al¦amdu yu¦y¢ wa yum¢tu wa yum¢tu wa yu¦y¢ wa huwa ¦ayyun l¡ yam£tu biyadih¢ alkhayru wa huwa `al¡ kulli shay'in qad¢run

There is no god save Allah; One and Only and having no partner. To Him is the Kingdom and to Him is (all) praise. He gives life and causes to die and causes to die and gives life, while He is ever-living and never dies. In His Hand is the entire goodness and He has power over all things.

 اسْتَغْفِرُ ٱللَّهَ ٱلَّذِي لاَ إِلٰهَ إِلاَّ هُوَ ٱلْحَيُّ ٱلْقَيُّومُ وَاتُوبُ إِلَيْه

astaghfiru all¡ha alladh¢ l¡ il¡ha ill¡ huwa al¦ayyu alqayy£mu wa at£bu ilayhi

I pray the forgiveness of Allah; there is no god save Him, the Ever-living, the Self-subsistent, and I repent to Him.

 يَا ٱللَّهُ يَا ٱللَّهُ

y¡ all¡hu y¡ all¡hu

O Allah, O Allah!

 يَا رَحْمٰنُ يَا رَحْمٰنُ

y¡ ra¦m¡nu y¡ ra¦m¡nu

O All-beneficent, O All-beneficent!

 يَا رَحِيمُ يَا رَحِيمُ

y¡ra¦¢mu y¡ ra¦¢mu

O All-merciful, O All-merciful!

 يَا بَدِيعَ ٱلسَّمَاوَاتِ وَٱلارْضِ

y¡ bad¢`a alssam¡w¡ti wal-ar¤i

O Fashioner of the heavens and the earth!

 يَا ذَا ٱلْجَلاَلِ وَٱلإِكْرَامِ

y¡ dhaljal¡li wal-ikr¡mi

O Lord of Majesty and Dignity!

 يَا حَنَّانُ يَا مَنَّانُ

y¡ ¦ann¡nu y¡ mann¡nu

O All-compassionate! O Grantor (of graces)!

 يَا حَيُّ يَا قَيُّومُ

y¡ ¦ayyu y¡qayy£mu

O Ever-living! O Self-Subsistent!

يَا حَيُّ لاَ إِلٰهَ إِلاَّ انْتَ

y¡ ¦ayyu l¡ il¡ha ill¡ anta

O Ever-living! There is no god save You!

 يَا ٱللَّهُ يَا لاَ إِلٰهَ إِلاَّ انْتَ

y¡ all¡hu y¡ l¡ il¡ha ill¡ anta

O Allah! O He save Whom there is no god!

 بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

bismi all¡hi alrra¦m¡ni alrra¦¢mi

In the Name of Allah, the All-beneficent, the All-merciful.

اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ

all¡humma ¥alli `al¡ mu¦ammadin wa ¡li mu¦ammadin

O Allah, bless Mu¦ammad and the Household of Mu¦ammad.

 اللَّهُمَّ ٱفْعَلْ بِي مَا انْتَ اهْلُهُ

all¡humma if`al b¢ m¡ anta ahluh£

O Allah, do to me that which You are worthy to do.

 آمِينَ آمِينَ

¡m¢na ¡m¢na

(please do) Respond, respond.

قُلْ هُوَ ٱللَّهُ احَدٌ

qul huwa all¡hu a¦adun

Say: He, Allah, is One.

اللَّهُمَّ ٱصْنَعْ بِي مَا انْتَ اهْلُهُ

all¡humma i¥na` b¢ m¡ anta ahluh£

O Allah, do with me that which You are worthy to do

وَلاَ تَصْنَعْ بِي مَا انَا اهْلُهُ

wa l¡ ta¥na` b¢ m¡ an¡ ahluh£

but do not do to me that which I deserve,

فَإِنَّكَ اهْلُ ٱلتَّقْوَىٰ وَاهْلُ ٱلْمَغْفِرَةِ

fa'innaka ahlu alttaqw¡ wa ahlu almaghfirati

for You are worthy to be feared and worthy to forgive,

وَانَا اهْلُ ٱلذُّنُوبِ وَٱلْخَطَايَا

wa an¡ ahlu aldhdhun£bi walkha§¡y¡

while I am the one of sins and faults.

فَٱرْحَمْنِي يَا مَوْلاَيَ

far¦amn¢ y¡ mawl¡ya

So, have mercy upon me, O my Lord,

وَانْتَ ارْحَمُ ٱلرَّاحِمِينَ

wa anta ar¦amu alrr¡¦im¢na

and You are the most merciful of all those who show mercy.

لاَ حَوْلَ وَلاَ قُوَّةَ إِلاَّ بِٱللَّهِ

l¡ ¦awla wa l¡ quwwata ill¡ bill¡hi

There is neither power nor might save with Allah.

تَوَكَّلْتُ عَلَىٰ ٱلْحَيِّ ٱلَّذِي لاَ يَمُوتُ

tawakkaltu `al¡ al¦ayyi alladh¢ l¡ yam£tu

I trust in the Ever-living (Lord) Who never dies.

وَٱلْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ ٱلَّذِي لَمْ يَتَّخِذْ وَلَداً

wal¦amdu lill¡hi alladh¢ lm yattakhidh waladan

All praise be to Allah, Who begets no son,

وَلَمْ يَكُنْ لَهُ شَرِيكٌ فِي ٱلْمُلْكِ

wa lam yakun lah£ shar¢kun f¢ almulki

and has no partner in His dominion

وَلَمْ يَكُنْ لَهُ وَلِيٌّ مِنَ ٱلذُّلِّ

wa lam yakun lah£ waliyyun mina aldhdhulli

nor needs He any to protect Him from humiliation:

وَكَبِّرْهُ تَكْبِيراً

wa kabbirhu takb¢ran

yea, magnify Him for His greatness and glory!
