Supplication 54 for removing troubles known as Dua-e-Yamani -Monji
دعاء اليماني علّمه أمير المؤمنين لرجل يماني للظفر بعدوه
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ. اللَّهُمَّ أَنْتَ الْمَلِكُ الْحَقُّ الَّذِي لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ
Bismillahir-rahmanir-rahim. Allahumma antal-malikul-haqqul-ladhi la ilaha illa ant.
In the name of Allah, the Gracious, the Merciful. O Allah, You are the True King, there is no god but You.

وَ أَنَا عَبْدُكَ ظَلَمْتُ نَفْسِي وَ اعْتَرَفْتُ بِذَنْبِي وَ لَا يَغْفِرُ الذُّنُوبَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ
Wa ana ‘abduka zalamtu nafsi wa’taraftu bidhanbi wa la yaghfirudh-dhunuba illa ant.
And I am Your servant; I have wronged myself and I confess my sin, and none forgives sins except You.

فَاغْفِرْ لِي يَا غَفُورُ يَا شَكُورُ اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَحْمَدُكَ وَ أَنْتَ لِلْحَمْدِ أَهْلٌ
Faghfir li ya Ghafuru ya Shakur. Allahumma inni ahmaduka wa anta lil-hamdi ahl.
So forgive me, O Forgiving, O Appreciative. O Allah, I praise You, and You are worthy of all praise.

عَلَى مَا خَصَصْتَنِي بِهِ مِنْ مَوَاهِبِ الرَّغَائِبِ وَ مَاوَصَلَ إِلَيَّ مِنْ فَضْلِكَ السَّابِغِ
‘Ala ma khassastani bihi min mawahibil-ragha’ibi wa ma wasala ilayya min fadlikas-sabigh.
For the desirable gifts You have specifically granted me and the abundant grace that has reached me.

وَ مَا أَوْلَيْتَنِي بِهِ مِنْ إِحْسَانِكَ إِلَيَّ وَ بَوَّأْتَنِي بِهِ مِنْ مَظِنَّةِ الْعَدْلِ
Wa ma awlaytani bihi min ihsanika ilayya wa bawwa’tani bihi min mazannatil-‘adl.
And for the kindness You have shown me and the position of justice You have placed me in.

وَ أَنَلْتَنِي مِنْ مَنِّكَ الْوَاصِلِ إِلَيَّ وَ مِنَ الدِّفَاعِ عَنِّي وَ التَّوْفِيقِ لِي
Wa analtani min mannikal-wasili ilayya wa minad-difa’i ‘anni wat-tawfiqi li.
And for the continuous favors You bestowed upon me, Your defense of me, and the guidance You gave me.

وَ الْإِجَابَةِ لِدُعَائِي حَتَّى أُنَاجِيَكَ دَاعِياً وَ أَدْعُوَكَ مُضَاماً وَ أَسْأَلَكَ
Wal-ijabati lidu’a’i hatta unajiyaka da’iyan wa ad’uwaka mudaman wa as’alak.
And for answering my prayer, so that I may call upon You in intimate prayer and supplicate when oppressed.

فَأَجِدَكَ فِي الْمَوَاطِنِ كُلِّهَا لِي جَابِراً وَ فِي الْأُمُورِ نَاظِراً
Fa ajidaka fil-mawatini kulliha li jabiran wa fil-umuri nazira.
So I find You in all places as my Comforter and in all affairs as my Overseer.

وَ لِذُنُوبِي غَافِراً وَ لِعَوْرَاتِي سَاتِراً لَمْ أَعْدَمْ خَيْرَكَ طَرْفَةَ عَيْنٍ
Wa lidhunubi ghafiran wa li’awrati satiran lam a’dam khayraka tarfata ‘ayn.
Forgiving my sins and veiling my faults; I have not been deprived of Your goodness for even a blink of an eye.

مُنْذُ أَنْزَلْتَنِي دَارَ الِاخْتِيَارِ لِتَنْظُرَ مَا أُقَدِّمُ لِدَارِ الْقَرَارِ فَأَنَا عَتِيقُكَ
Mudhu anzaltani daral-ikhtiyari litanzura ma uqaddimu lidaril-qarari fa ana ‘atiquk.
Since You placed me in this world of choice to see what I provide for the eternal abode; so I am Your freedman.

مِنْ جَمِيعِ الْآفَاتِ وَ الْمَصَائِبِ فِي اللَّوَازِبِ وَ الْغُمُومِ الَّتِي سَاوَرَتْنِي فِيهَا الْهُمُومُ
Min jami’il-afati wal-masa’ibi fil-lawazibi wal-ghumumil-lati sawaratni fihal-humum.
From all calamities and misfortunes in hardships, and from the distresses in which anxieties beset me.

بِمَعَارِيضِ أَصْنَافِ الْبَلَاءِ وَ مَصْرُوفِ جُهْدِ الْقَضَاءِ لَا أَذْكُرُ مِنْكَ إِلَّا الْجَمِيلَ
Bima’aridi asnafil-bala’i wa masrufi juhdil-qada’i la adhkuru minka illal-jamil.
Through various types of trials and the burdens of fate, I remember nothing from You but beauty.

وَ لَا أَرَى مِنْكَ غَيْرَ التَّفْضِيلِ خَيْرُكَ لِي شَامِلٌ وَ فَضْلُكَ عَلَيَّ مُتَوَاتِرٌ
Wa la ara minka ghayrat-tafdili khayruka li shamilun wa fadluka ‘alayya mutawatir.
And I see nothing from You but favoritism; Your goodness to me is all-encompassing and Your grace is successive.

وَ نِعْمَتُكَ عِنْدِي مُتَّصِلَةٌ وَ سَوَابِقُ لَمْ تُحَقِّقْ خِدَارِي بَلْ صَدَّقْتَ رَجَائِي
Wa ni’matuka ‘indi muttasilatun wa sawabiqu lam tuhaqqiq khidari bal saddaqta raja’i.
Your blessing is continuous with me, and previous trials did not disgrace me; rather, You fulfilled my hope.

وَ صَاحَبْتَ أَسْفَارِي وَ أَكْرَمْتَ أَحْضَارِي وَ شَفَيْتَ أَمْرَاضِي وَ أَوْصَابِي
Wa sahabta asfari wa akramta ahdari wa shafayta amradi wa awsabi.
You accompanied my travels, honored my presence, and healed my illnesses and pains.

وَ عَافَيْتَ مُنْقَلَبِي وَ مَثْوَايَ وَ لَمْ تُشْمِتْ بِي أَعْدَائِي وَ رَمَيْتَ مَنْ رَمَانِي
Wa ‘afayta munqalabi wa mathwaya wa lam tushmit bi a’da’i wa ramayta man ramani.
You granted health to my journeys and my home, did not let my enemies gloat, and struck those who targeted me.

وَ كَفَيْتَنِي مَئُونَةَ مَنْ عَادَانِي فَحَمْدِي لَكَ وَاصِلٌ وَ ثَنَائِي عَلَيْكَ دَائِمٌ
Wa kafaytani ma’unata man ‘adani fahamdi laka wasilun wa thana’i ‘alayka da’im.
You spared me the burden of those who showed me enmity; so my praise to You is continuous and my eulogy is eternal.

مِنَ الدَّهْرِ إِلَى الدَّهْرِ بِأَلْوَانِ التَّسْبِيحِ خَالِصاً لِذِكْرِكَ وَ مَرْضِيّاً لَكَ
Minad-dahri ilad-dahri bi’alwanit-tasbihi khalisan lidhikrika wa mardiyyan lak.
From age to age, with various forms of glorification, sincere to Your remembrance and pleasing to You.

بِبَنَايِعِ التَّوْحِيدِ وَ إِمْحَاضِ التَّمْجِيدِ بِطُولِ التَّعْدِيدِ وَ مَزِيَّةِ أَهْلِ الْمَزِيدِ
Bibanayi’it-tawhidi wa imhadit-tamjidi bitulit-ta’didi wa maziyyati ahlil-mazid.
With unique declarations of unity and pure glorification, through lengthy enumeration and the distinction of those who receive increase.

لَمْ تُعَنْ فِي قُدْرَتِكَ وَ لَمْ تُشَارَكْ فِي إِلَهِيَّتِكَ وَ لَمْ تَعْلَمْ لَكَ مَائِيَّةٌ
Lam tu’an fi qudratika wa lam tusharak fi ilahiyyatika wa lam tu’lam laka ma’iyyah.
You were not aided in Your power, nor shared in Your divinity, and no essence is known for You.

فَتَكُونَ لِلْأَشْيَاءِ الْمُخْتَلِفَةِ مُجَانِساً وَ لَمْ تُعَايَنْ إِذْ حَبَسْتَ الْأَشْيَاءَ عَلَى الْغَرَائِزِ
Fatakuuna lil-ashya’il-mukhtalifati mujanisan wa lam tu’ayan idh habastal-ashya’a ‘alal-ghara’iz.
Such that You would be of the same kind as diverse things, and You were not seen when You restricted things to their natures.

وَ لَا خَرَقَتِ الْأَوْهَامُ حُجُبَ الْغُيُوبِ فَتَعْتَقِدُ فِيكَ مَحْدُوداً فِي عَظَمَتِكَ
Wa la kharaqatil-awhamu hujubal-ghuyubi fata’taqidu fika mahdudan fi ‘azamatik.
Nor did imaginations pierce the veils of the unseen to perceive You as limited in Your greatness.

فَلَا يَبْلُغُكَ بُعْدُ الْهِمَمِ وَ لَا يَنَالُكَ غَوْصُ الْفِكَرِ وَ لَا يَنْتَهِي إِلَيْكَ نَظَرُ نَاظِرٍ
Fala yablughuka bu’dul-himami wa la yanaluka ghawsul-fikari wa la yantahi ilayka nazaru nazir.
High aspirations cannot reach You, the depths of thought cannot attain You, and the vision of any observer cannot encompass You.

فِي مَجْدِ جَبَرُوتِكَ ارْتَفَعَتْ عَنْ صِفَةِ الْمَخْلُوقِينَ صِفَاتُ قُدْرَتِكَ وَ عَلَا عَنْ ذَلِكَ
Fi majdi jabarutika-rtafa’at ‘an sifatil-makhluqina sifatu qudratika wa ‘ala ‘an dhalik.
In the glory of Your omnipotence, the attributes of Your power rise above the attributes of creatures.

كِبْرِيَاءُ عَظَمَتِكَ لَا يَنْقُصُ مَا أَرَدْتَ أَنْ يَزْدَادَ وَ لَا يَزْدَادُ مَا أَرَدْتَ أَنْ يَنْقُصَ
Kibriya’u ‘azamatika la yanqusu ma aradta an yazdada wa la yazdadu ma aradta an yanqus.
The majesty of Your greatness is such that what You want to increase does not decrease, and what You want to decrease does not increase.

لَا أَحَدَ حَضَرَكَ حِينَ بَرَأْتَ النُّفُوسَ كَلَّتِ الْأَوْهَامُ عَنْ تَفْسِيرِ صِفَتِكَ
La ahada hadaraka hina bara’tan-nufusa kallatil-awhamu ‘an tafsiri sifatik.
No one was present with You when You created the souls; imaginations are exhausted from explaining Your attributes.

وَ انْحَسَرَتِ الْعُقُولُ عَنْ كُنْهِ عَظَمَتِكَ وَ كَيْفَ تُوصَفُ وَ أَنْتَ الْجَبَّارُ الْقُدُّوسُ
Wan-hasaratil-‘uqulu ‘an kunhi ‘azamatika wa kayfa tusafu wa antal-Jabbarul-Quddus.
And intellects are held back from the essence of Your greatness; how can You be described when You are the All-Compelling, the Most Holy?

الَّذِي لَمْ تَزَلْ أَزَلِيّاً دَائِماً فِي الْغُيُوبِ وَحْدَكَ لَيْسَ فِيهَا غَيْرُكَ
Alladhi lam tazal azaliyyan da’iman fil-ghuyubi wahdaka laysa fiha ghayruk.
Who has always been eternal and everlasting in the unseen, alone with no one else therein.

وَ لَمْ يَكُنْ لَهَا سِوَاكَ. حَارَ فِي مَلَكُوتِكَ عَمِيقَاتُ مَذَاهِبِ التَّفْكِيرِ
Wa lam yakun laha siwak. Hara fi malakutika ‘amiqatu madhahibit-tafkir.
And there was none other than You. The deep paths of thought are bewildered in Your kingdom.

فَتَوَاضَعَتِ الْمُلُوكُ لِهَيْبَتِكَ وَ عَنَتِ الْوُجُوهُ بِذُلِّ الِاسْتِكَانَةِ لَكَ وَ انْقَادَ كُلُّ شَيْ‏ءٍ لِعَظَمَتِكَ
Fatawada’atil-muluku lihaybatika wa ‘anatil-wujuhu bidhullil-istikanati laka wanqada kullu shay’in li’azamatik.
Kings are humbled before Your awe, faces are submissive in the humility of surrender to You, and everything yields to Your greatness.

وَ اسْتَسْلَمَ كُلُّ شَيْ‏ءٍ لِقُدْرَتِكَ وَ خَضَعَتْ لَكَ الرِّقَابُ وَ كَلَّ دُونَ ذَلِكَ تَحْبِيرُ اللُّغَاتِ
Wastaslama kullu shay’in liqudratika wa khada’at lakar-riqabu wa kalla duna dhalika tahbirul-lughat.
Everything submits to Your power, necks are bowed before You, and the eloquence of languages falls short of that.

وَ ضَلَّ هُنَالِكَ التَّدْبِيرُ فِي تَصَارِيفِ الصِّفَاتِ فَمَنْ تَفَكَّرَ فِي ذَلِكَ رَجَعَ طَرْفُهُ إِلَيْهِ حَسِيراً
Wa dalla hunakat-tadbiru fi tasarifis-sifati faman tafakkara fi dhalika raja’a tarfuhu ilayhi hasira.
Management is lost there in the variations of attributes; so whoever ponders that, his gaze returns to him exhausted.

وَ عَقْلُهُ مَبْهُوراً وَ تَفَكُّرُهُ مُتَحَيِّراً اللَّهُمَّ فَلَكَ الْحَمْدُ مُتَوَاتِراً مُتَوَالِياً
Wa ‘aqluhu mabhuuran wa tafakkuruhu mutahayyiran Allahumma falakal-hamdu mutawatiran mutawaliya.
His intellect is dazzled and his thought is bewildered. O Allah, to You belongs praise, successive and continuous.

مُتَّسِقاً مُسْتَوْثِقاً يَدُومُ وَ لَا يَبِيدُ غَيْرَ مَفْقُودٍ فِي الْمَلَكُوتِ وَ لَا مَطْمُوسٍ فِي الْمَعَالِمِ
Muttasiqan mustawthiqan yadumu wa la yabidu ghayra mafqudin fil-malakuti wa la matmusin fil-ma’alim.
Consistent and firm, lasting and never perishing, not missing in the kingdom nor erased in the landmarks.

وَ لَا مُنْتَقِصٍ فِي الْعِرْفَانِ وَ لَكَ الْحَمْدُ مَا لَا تُحْصَى مَكَارِمُهُ فِي اللَّيْلِ إِذْ أَدْبَرَ
Wa la muntaqisin fil-‘irfani wa lakal-hamdu ma la tuhsa makaramuhu fil-layli idh adbar.
Nor diminished in recognition. To You belongs praise whose bounties cannot be counted, in the night when it retreats.

وَ الصُّبْحِ إِذَا أَسْفَرَ وَ فِي الْبَرَارِي وَ الْبِحَارِ وَ الْغُدُوِّ وَ الْآصَالِ وَ الْعَشِيِّ وَ الْإِبْكَارِ
Was-subhi idha asfara wa fil-barari wal-bihari wal-ghuduwwi wal-asali wal-‘ashiyyi wal-ibkar.
And the morning when it brightens, and in the deserts and seas, in the mornings and afternoons, evenings and dawns.

وَ فِي الظَّهَائِرِ وَ الْأَسْحَارِ. اللَّهُمَّ بِتَوْفِيقِكَ قَدْ أَحْضَرْتَنِي الرَّغْبَةَ وَ جَعَلْتَنِي مِنْكَ فِي وَلَايَةِ الْعِصْمَةِ
Wa fiz-zaha’iri wal-ashari. Allahumma bitawfiqika qad ahdartanir-raghbata wa ja’altani minka fi walayatil-‘ismah.
And in the noons and pre-dawn hours. O Allah, by Your guidance You have inspired desire in me and placed me under Your protection.

فَلَمْ أَبْرَحْ فِي سُبُوغِ نَعْمَائِكَ وَ تَتَابُعِ آلَائِكَ مَحْفُوظاً لَكَ فِي الْمَنْعَةِ وَ الدِّفَاعِ
Falam abraha fi subughi na’ma’ika wa tatabu’i ala’ika mahfuzan laka fil-man’ati wad-difa’.
So I never cease to be in the abundance of Your blessings and the succession of Your favors, preserved by You in strength and defense.

مَحُوطاً بِكَ فِي مَثْوَايَ وَ مُنْقَلَبِي وَ لَمْ تُكَلِّفْنِي فَوْقَ طَاقَتِي إِذْ لَمْ تَرْضَ مِنِّي إِلَّا طَاعَتِي
Mahutan bika fi mathwaya wa munqalabi wa lam tukallifni fawqa taqati idh lam tarda minni illa ta’ati.
Surrounded by You in my residence and my travels; You did not burden me beyond my capacity, for You only required my obedience.

وَ لَيْسَ شُكْرِي وَ إِنْ أَبْلَغْتُ فِي الْمَقَالِ وَ بَالَغْتُ فِي الْفِعَالِ بِبَالِغِ أَدَاءِ حَقِّكَ
Wa laysa shukri wa in ablaghtu fil-maqali wa balaghtu fil-fi’ali bibalighi ada’i haqqik.
And my gratitude—even if I reached the peak of speech and exceeded in actions—does not fulfill Your right.

وَ لَا مُكَافِياً لِفَضْلِكَ لِأَنَّكَ أَنْتَ اللَّهُ الَّذِي لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ لَمْ تَغِبْ
Wa la mukafiyan lifadlika lian-naka antallahu-lladhi la ilaha illa anta lam taghib.
Nor is it equal to Your grace, because You are Allah, there is no god but You; You never were absent.

وَ لَا تَغِيبُ عَنْكَ غَائِبَةٌ وَ لَا تَخْفَى عَلَيْكَ خَافِيَةٌ وَ لَمْ تَضِلَّ لَكَ فِي ظُلَمِ الْخَفِيَّاتِ ضَالَّةٌ
Wa la taghibu ‘anka gha’ibatun wa la takhfa ‘alayka khafiyatun wa lam tadilla laka fi zulamil-khafiyyati dallah.
Nor does anything hidden escape You, nor is any secret concealed from You, and nothing is lost to You in the darkness of secrets.

إِنَّمَا أَمْرُكَ إِذَا أَرَدْتَ شَيْئاً أَنْ تَقُولَ لَهُ كُنْ فَيَكُونُ. اللَّهُمَّ لَكَ الْحَمْدُ
Innama amruka idha aradta shay’an an taquula lahu kun fayakuun. Allahumma lakal-hamd.
Your command, when You intend a thing, is only that You say to it "Be," and it is. O Allah, to You belongs praise.

مِثْلَ مَا حَمِدْتَ بِهِ نَفْسَكَ وَ حَمِدَكَ بِهِ الْحَامِدُونَ وَ مَجَّدَكَ بِهِ الْمُمَجِّدُونَ
Mithla ma hamidta bihi nafsaka wa hamidaka bihil-hamiduna wa majjadaka bihil-mumajjidun.
Like the praise You have for Yourself, and the praise given by the praisers, and the glory given by the glorifiers.

وَ كَبَّرَكَ بِهِ الْمُكَبِّرُونَ وَ عَظَّمَكَ بِهِ الْمُعَظِّمُونَ حَتَّى يَكُونَ لَكَ مِنِّي وَحْدِي
Wa kabbaraka bihil-mukabbiruna wa ‘azzamaka bihil-mu’azzimuna hatta yakuuna laka minni wahdi.
And the greatness declared by the magnifiers, so that there is from me alone for You.

بِكُلِّ طَرْفَةِ عَيْنٍ وَ أَقَلَّ مِنْ ذَلِكَ مِثْلُ حَمْدِ الْحَامِدِينَ وَ تَوْحِيدِ أَصْنَافِ الْمُخْلِصِينَ
Bikulli tarfati ‘aynin wa aqalla min dhalika mithlu hamdil-hamidina wa tawhidi asnafil-mukhlisin.
With every blink of an eye and even less than that, like the praise of the praisers and the monotheism of the sincere.

وَ تَقْدِيسِ أَجْنَاسِ الْعَارِفِينَ وَ ثَنَاءِ جَمِيعِ الْمُهَلِّلِينَ وَ مِثْلُ مَا أَنْتَ بِهِ عَارِفٌ
Wa taqdisi ajnasil-‘arifina wa thana’i jami’il-muhallilina wa mithla ma anta bihi ‘arif.
The sanctification of the knowers, the eulogy of all who declare Your unity, and like what You know.

مِنْ جَمِيعِ خَلْقِكَ مِنَ الْحَيَوَانِ وَ أَرْغَبُ إِلَيْكَ فِي رَغْبَةِ مَا أَنْطَقْتَنِي بِهِ مِنْ حَمْدِكَ
Min jami’i khalqika minal-hayawani wa arghabu ilayka fi raghbati ma antaqtani bihi min hamdik.
From all Your creation, including living beings; and I desire from You according to the praise You made me utter.

فَمَا أَيْسَرَ مَا كَلَّفْتَنِي بِهِ مِنْ حَقِّكَ وَ أَعْظَمَ مَا وَعَدْتَنِي عَلَى شُكْرِكَ
Fama aysara ma kallaftani bihi min haqqika wa a’zama ma wa’adtani ‘ala shukrik.
How easy is what You tasked me with regarding Your right, and how great is what You promised me for my gratitude.

ابْتَدَأْتَنِي بِالنِّعَمِ فَضْلًا وَ طَوْلًا وَ أَمَرْتَنِي بِالشُّكْرِ حَقّاً وَ عَدْلًا وَ وَعَدْتَنِي عَلَيْهِ أَضْعَافاً
Ibtada’tani bin-ni’ami fadlan wa tawlan wa amartani bish-shukri haqqan wa ‘adlan wa wa’adtani ‘alayhi ad’afa.
You began by blessing me through grace and bounty, and commanded me to be grateful as a matter of right and justice, promising manifold rewards.

وَ مَزِيداً وَ أَعْطَيْتَنِي مِنْ رِزْقِكَ اعْتِبَاراً وَ فَضْلًا وَ سَأَلْتَنِي مِنْهُ يَسِيراً صَغِيراً
Wa mazidan wa a’taytani min rizqika’tibiaran wa fadlan wa sa’altani minhu yasiran saghira.
And increase; You gave me from Your provision as a lesson and a favor, and asked of me only a small, easy portion.

وَ أَعْفَيْتَنِي مِنْ جَهْدِ الْبَلَاءِ وَ لَمْ تُسَلِّمْنِي لِلسُّوءِ مِنْ بَلَائِكَ مَعَ مَا أَوْلَيْتَنِي مِنَ الْعافِيَةِ
Wa a’faytani min jahdil-bala’i wa lam tusallimni lissu’i min bala’ika ma’a ma awlaytani minal-‘afiyah.
You exempted me from the hardship of trial and did not surrender me to the evil of Your tests, along with the health You bestowed.

وَ سَوَّغْتَ مِنْ كَرَائِمِ النِّحَلِ وَ ضَاعَفْتَ لِيَ الْفَضْلَ مَعَ مَا أَوْدَعْتَنِي مِنَ الْمَحَجَّةِ الشَّرِيفَةِ
Wa sawwaghta min kara’imin-nihali wa da’afta liyal-fadla ma’a ma awda’tani minal-mahajjatish-sharifah.
And You granted generous gifts and doubled for me the grace, alongside the noble path You entrusted to me.

وَ يَسَّرْتَ لِيَ مِنَ الدَّرَجَةِ الرَّفِيعَةِ الْعَالِيَةِ وَ اصْطَفَيْتَنِي بِأَعْظَمِ النَّبِيِّينَ دَعْوَةً
Wa yassarta liya minad-darajatir-rafi’atil-‘aliyati wastafaytani bi-a’zamin-nabiyyina da’wah.
You eased for me the high and elevated rank, and chose me through the Prophet with the greatest call.

وَ أَفْضَلِهِمْ شَفَاعَةً مُحَمَّدٍ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَ آلِهِ. اللَّهُمَّ فَاغْفِرْ لِي مَا لَا يَسَعُهُ إِلَّا مَغْفِرَتُكَ
Wa afdalihim shafa’atan Muhammadin sallallahu ‘alayhi wa alih. Allahumma faghfir li ma la yasa’uhu illa maghfiratuk.
And the best of them in intercession, Muhammad, peace be upon him and his family. O Allah, forgive me what only Your forgiveness can encompass.

وَ لَا يَمْحَقُهُ إِلَّا عَفْوُكَ وَ لَا يُكَفِّرُهُ إِلَّا فَضْلُكَ وَ هَبْ لِي فِي يَوْمِي يَقِيناً
Wa la yamhaquhu illa ‘afwuka wa la yukaffiruhu illa fadluka wa hab li fi yawmi yaqina.
And what only Your pardon can erase, and what only Your grace can expiate; and grant me certainty on this day.

تُهَوِّنُ عَلَيَّ بِهِ مُصِيبَاتِ الدُّنْيَا وَ أَحْزَانَهَا بِشَوْقٍ إِلَيْكَ وَ رَغْبَةٍ فِيمَا عِنْدَكَ
Tuhawwinu ‘alayya bihi musibatid-dunya wa ahzanaha bishawqin ilayka wa raghbatin fima ‘indak.
By which You ease for me the calamities of the world and its sorrows, through a longing for You and a desire for what is with You.

وَ اكْتُبْ لِي عِنْدَكَ الْمَغْفِرَةَ وَ بَلِّغْنِي الْكَرَامَةَ وَ ارْزُقْنِي شُكْرَ مَا أَنْعَمْتَ بِهِ عَلَيَّ
Waktub li ‘indakal-maghfirata wa ballighnil-karamata warzuqni shukra ma an’amta bihi ‘alay.
And decree for me Your forgiveness, convey me to honor, and provide me with gratitude for the blessings You have given me.

فَإِنَّكَ أَنْتَ اللَّهُ الْوَاحِدُ الرَّفِيعُ الْبَدِي‏ءُ الْبَدِيعُ السَّمِيعُ الْعَلِيمُ الَّذِي لَيْسَ لِأَمْرِكَ مَدْفَعٌ
Fain-naka antallahul-Wahidur-Rafi’ul-Badi’ul-Badi’us-Sami’ul-‘Alimul-ladhi laysa liamrika madfa’.
For You are Allah, the One, the Exalted, the Originator, the Innovator, the All-Hearing, the All-Knowing, whose command cannot be repelled.

وَ لَا عَنْ قَضَائِكَ مُمْتَنَعٌ. أَشْهَدُ أَنَّكَ رَبِّي وَ رَبُّ كُلِّ شَيْ‏ءٍ فَاطِرُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَ الْأَرْضِ
Wa la ‘an qada’ika mumtana’. Ash-hadu annaka Rabbi wa Rabbu kulli shay’in fatirus-samawati wal-ard.
Nor can Your decree be prevented. I bear witness that You are my Lord and the Lord of all things, the Creator of the heavens and the earth.

عَالِمُ الْغَيْبِ وَ الشَّهَادَةِ الْعَلِيُّ الْكَبِيرُ. اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ الثَّبَاتَ فِي الْأَمْرِ
‘Alimul-ghaybi wash-shahadatil-‘Aliyyul-Kabir. Allahumma inni as’alukat-thabata fil-amr.
The Knower of the unseen and the seen, the Most High, the Most Great. O Allah, I ask You for steadfastness in the matter.

وَ الْعَزِيمَةَ عَلَى الرُّشْدِ وَ الشُّكْرَ عَلَى نِعْمَتِكَ أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ جَوْرِ كُلِّ جَائِرٍ
Wal-‘azimata ‘alar-rushdi wash-shukra ‘ala ni’matika a’udhu bika min jawri kulli ja’ir.
And the determination for righteousness, and gratitude for Your blessing; I seek refuge in You from the injustice of every oppressor.

وَ بَغْيِ كُلِّ بَاغٍ وَ حَسَدِ كُلِّ حَاسِدٍ بِكَ أَصُولُ عَلَى الْأَعْدَاءِ وَ بِكَ أَرْجُو وَلَايَةَ الْأَحِبَّاءِ
Wa baghyi kulli baghin wa hasadi kulli hasidin bika asulu ‘alal-a’da’i wa bika arju walayatal-ahibba’.
And the tyranny of every tyrant, and the envy of every envier; through You I overcome enemies, and through You I hope for the friendship of loved ones.

مَعَ مَا لَا أَسْتَطِيعُ إِحْصَاءَهُ وَ لَا تَعْدِيدَهُ مِنْ عَوَائِدِ فَضْلِكَ وَ طُرَفِ رِزْقِكَ
Ma’a ma la astati’u ihsa’ahu wa la ta’didahu min ‘awa’idi fadlika wa turafi rizqik.
Along with what I cannot count or enumerate of the recurring benefits of Your grace and the varieties of Your provision.

وَ أَلْوَانِ مَا أَوْلَيْتَ مِنْ إِرْفَادِكَ فَإِنَّكَ أَنْتَ اللَّهُ الَّذِي لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ الْفَاشِي فِي الْخَلْقِ رِفْدُكَ
Wa alwani ma awlayta min irfadika fain-naka antallahul-ladhi la ilaha illa antal-fashi fil-khalqi rifduk.
And the kinds of support You have given; for You are Allah, there is no god but You, whose support is widespread among creation.

الْبَاسِطُ بِالْجُودِ يَدُكَ وَ لَا تُضَادُّ فِي حُكْمِكَ وَ لَا تُنَازَعُ فِي أَمْرِكَ تَمْلِكُ مِنَ الْأَنَامِ مَا تَشَاءُ
Al-basitu bil-judi yaduka wa la tudaddu fi hukmika wa la tunaza’u fi amrika tamliku minal-anami ma tasha’.
Whose hand is extended with generosity; You are not opposed in Your judgment nor contested in Your command; You possess of mankind whatever You will.

وَ لَا يَمْلِكُونَ إِلَّا مَا تُرِيدُ. قُلِ اللَّهُمَّ مالِكَ الْمُلْكِ تُؤْتِي الْمُلْكَ مَنْ تَشاءُ وَ تَنْزِعُ الْمُلْكَ مِمَّنْ تَشاءُ
Wa la yamlikuna illa ma turid. Qulillahumma malikal-mulki tu’til-mulka man tasha’u wa tanzi’ul-mulka mimman tasha’.
And they possess nothing except what You want. Say: "O Allah, Owner of Sovereignty, You give sovereignty to whom You will and take it from whom You will."

وَ تُعِزُّ مَنْ تَشاءُ وَ تُذِلُّ مَنْ تَشاءُ بِيَدِكَ الْخَيْرُ إِنَّكَ عَلى‏ كُلِّ شَيْ‏ءٍ قَدِيرٌ.
Wa tu’izzu man tasha’u wa tudhillu man tasha’u biyadikal-khayru innaka ‘ala kulli shay’in qadir.
"You honor whom You will and humble whom You will. In Your hand is [all] good. Indeed, You are over all things competent."

تُولِجُ اللَّيْلَ فِي النَّهارِ وَ تُولِجُ النَّهارَ فِي اللَّيْلِ وَ تُخْرِجُ الْحَيَّ مِنَ الْمَيِّتِ
Tulijul-layla fin-nahari wa tulijun-nahara fil-layli wa tukhrijul-hayya minal-mayyit.
"You cause the night to enter the day, and You cause the day to enter the night; and You bring the living out of the dead."

وَ تُخْرِجُ الْمَيِّتَ مِنَ الْحَيِّ وَ تَرْزُقُ مَنْ تَشاءُ بِغَيْرِ حِسابٍ أَنْتَ الْمُنْعِمُ الْمُفْضِلُ
Wa tukhrijul-mayyita minal-hayyi wa tarzuqu man tasha’u bighayri hisabin antal-mun’imul-mufdil.
"And You bring the dead out of the living, and You give provision to whom You will without account." You are the Benefactor, the Gracious.

الْخَالِقُ الْبَارِئُ الْقَادِرُ الْقَاهِرُ الْمُقَدَّسُ فِي نُورِ الْقُدْسِ تَرَدَّيْتَ بِالْمَجْدِ وَ الْعِزِّ
Al-Khaliqul-Bari’ul-Qadirul-Qahirul-Muqaddasu fi nuril-qudsi tarradayta bil-majdi wal-‘izz.
The Creator, the Maker, the Capable, the Subduer, the Holy in the light of holiness; You are robed in glory and might.

وَ تَعَظَّمْتَ بِالْكِبْرِيَاءِ وَ تَغَشَّيْتَ بِالنُّورِ وَ الْبَهَاءِ وَ تَجَلَّلْتَ بِالْمَهَابَةِ وَ السَّنَاءِ
Wa ta’azzamta bil-kibriya’i wa taghash-shayta bin-nuri wal-baha’i wa tajallalta bil-mahabati was-sana’.
You are magnified in majesty, covered in light and beauty, and enshrouded in awe and brilliance.

لَكَ الْمَنُّ الْقَدِيمُ وَ السُّلْطَانُ الشَّامِخُ وَ الْجُوْدُ الْوَاسِعُ وَ الْقُدْرَةُ الْمُقْتَدِرَةُ
Lakal-mannul-qadimu was-sultanush-shamikhu wal-judul-wasi’u wal-qudratul-muqtadirah.
To You belongs the ancient favor, the towering sovereignty, the vast generosity, and the powerful ability.

جَعَلْتَنِي مِنْ أَفْضَلِ بَنِي آدَمَ وَ جَعَلْتَنِي سَمِيعاً بَصِيراً صَحِيحاً سَوِيّاً مُعَافاً
Ja’altani min afdali bani Adama wa ja’altani sami’an basiran sahihan sawiyyan mu’afa.
You made me among the best of the children of Adam, and made me hearing, seeing, healthy, sound, and safe.

لَمْ تَشْغَلْنِي بِنُقْصَانٍ فِي بَدَنِي وَ لَمْ تَمْنَعْكَ كَرَامَتُكَ إِيَّايَ وَ حُسْنُ صَنِيعِكَ عِنْدِي
Lam tash-ghalni binuqsanin fi badani wa lam tamna’ka karamatuka iyyaya wa husnu sani’ika ‘indi.
You did not occupy me with a defect in my body, nor did Your honoring of me or Your good treatment of me prevent.

وَ فَضْلُ إِنْعَامِكَ عَلَيَّ أَنْ وَسَّعْتَ عَلَيَّ فِي الدُّنْيَا وَ فَضَّلْتَنِي عَلَى كَثِيرٍ مِنْ أَهْلِهَا
Wa fadlu in’amika ‘alayya an wassa’ta ‘alayya fid-dunya wa faddaltani ‘ala kathirin min ahliha.
Or the grace of Your blessing upon me, from expanding my life in this world and favoring me over many of its people.

فَجَعَلْتَ لِي سَمْعاً يَسْمَعُ آيَاتِكَ وَ فُؤَاداً يَعْرِفُ عَظَمَتَكَ وَ أَنَا بِفَضْلِكَ حَامِدٌ
Faja’alta li sam’an yasma’u ayatika wa fu’adan ya’rifu ‘azamataka wa ana bifadlika hamid.
So You gave me hearing to listen to Your signs and a heart to recognize Your greatness; and I, by Your grace, am praising.

وَ بِجُهْدِ يَقِينِي لَكَ شَاكِرٌ وَ بِحَقِّكَ شَاهِدٌ فَإِنَّكَ حَيٌّ قَبْلَ كُلِّ حَيٍّ
Wa bijuhdi yaqini laka shakiru wa bihaqqika shahidu fain-naka hayyun qabla kulli hayy.
And with the effort of my certainty, I am thankful, and to Your truth, I am a witness; for You are Alive before any living thing.

وَ حَيٌّ بَعْدَ كُلِّ حَيٍّ وَ حَيٌّ لَمْ تَرِثِ الْحَيَاةَ مِنْ حَيٍّ وَ لَمْ تَقْطَعْ خَيْرَكَ عَنِّي طَرْفَةَ عَيْنٍ
Wa hayyun ba’da kulli hayyin wa hayyun lam tarithil-hayata min hayyin wa lam taqta’ khayraka ‘anni tarfata ‘ayn.
And Alive after every living thing, and Alive who did not inherit life from any living being; You did not cut off Your goodness from me for a blink of an eye.

فِي كُلِّ وَقْتٍ وَ لَمْ تُنْزِلْ بِي عُقُوبَاتِ النِّقَمِ وَ لَمْ تُغَيِّرْ عَلَيَّ دَقَائِقَ الْعِصَمِ
Fi kulli waqtin wa lam tunzil bi ‘uqubatil-niqami wa lam tughayyir ‘alayya daqa’iqal-‘isam.
At all times; You did not send down upon me the punishments of vengeance, nor change the subtle protections over me.

فَلَوْ لَمْ أَذْكُرْ مِنْ إِحْسَانِكَ إِلَّا عَفْوَكَ وَ إِجَابَةَ دُعَائِي حِينَ رَفَعْتَ رَأْسِي بِتَحْمِيدِكَ
Falaw lam adhkur min ihsanika illa ‘afwaka wa ijabata du’a’i hina rafa’tu ra’si bitahmidik.
Even if I mentioned nothing of Your kindness except Your pardon and the answering of my prayer when I raised my head with Your praise.

وَ تَمْجِيدِكَ وَ فِي قِسْمَةِ الْأَرْزَاقِ حِينَ قَدَّرْتَ فَلَكَ الْحَمْدُ عَدَدَ مَا حَفِظَهُ عِلْمُكَ
Wa tamjidika wa fi qismatil-arzaqi hina qaddarta falakal-hamdu ‘adada ma hafizahu ‘ilmuk.
And Your glorification, and in the distribution of provisions when You apportioned them; so to You belongs praise equal to what Your knowledge has preserved.

وَ عَدَدَ مَا أَحَاطَتْ بِهِ قُدْرَتُكَ وَ عَدَدَ مَا وَسِعَتْهُ رَحْمَتُكَ اللَّهُمَّ فَتَمِّمْ إِحْسَانَكَ
Wa ‘adada ma ahatat bihi qudratuka wa ‘adada ma wasi’at-hu rahmatuka. Allahumma fatammim ihsanak.
And equal to what Your power has encompassed, and what Your mercy has reached. O Allah, complete Your kindness.

فِيمَا بَقِيَ كَمَا أَحْسَنْتَ فِيمَا مَضَى فَإِنِّي أَتَوَسَّلُ إِلَيْكَ بِتَوْحِيدِكَ وَ تَمْجِيدِكَ
Fima baqiya kama ahsanta fima mada fain-ni atawassalu ilayka bitawhidika wa tamjidik.
In what remains as You were kind in what has passed; for I seek closeness to You through Your unity and glorification.

وَ تَحْمِيدِكَ وَ تَهْلِيلِكَ وَ تَكْبِيرِكَ وَ تَعْظِيمِكَ وَ بِنُورِكَ وَ رَأْفَتِكَ وَ رَحْمَتِكَ
Wa tahmidika wa tahlilika wa takbirika wa ta’zimika wa binurika wa ra’fatika wa rahmatik.
And Your praise, Your declaration of unity, Your greatness, Your majesty, and by Your light, Your kindness, and Your mercy.

وَ عُلُوِّكَ وَ جَمَالِكَ وَ جَلَالِكَ وَ بَهَائِكَ وَ سُلْطَانِكَ وَ قُدْرَتِكَ
Wa ‘uluwwika wa jamalika wa jalalika wa baha’ika wa sultanika wa qudratik.
And Your highness, Your beauty, Your majesty, Your brilliance, Your sovereignty, and Your power.

وَ بِمُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِهِ الطَّاهِرِينَ أَلَّا تَحْرِمَنِي رِفْدَكَ وَ فَوَائِدَكَ فَإِنَّهُ لَا يَعْتَرِيكَ
Wa bi-Muhammadin wa alihit-tahirina alla tahrimani rifdaka wa fawa’idaka fainnahu la ya’tarik.
And by Muhammad and his pure family, do not deprive me of Your support and benefits, for nothing obstructs You.

لِكَثْرَةِ مَا يَتَدَفَّقُ بِهِ عَوَائِقُ الْبُخْلِ وَ لَا يَنْقُصُ جُودَكَ تَقْصِيرٌ فِي شُكْرِ نِعْمَتِكَ
Likathrati ma yatadaffaqu bihi ‘awa’iqul-bukhli wa la yanqusu judaka taqsirun fi shukri ni’matik.
Due to the abundance of what flows from You, obstacles of stinginess do not affect You, nor does shortcoming in gratitude diminish Your generosity.

وَ لَا تُفْنِي خَزَائِنَ مَوَاهِبِكَ النِّعَمُ وَ لَا تَخَافُ ضَيْمَ إِمْلَاقٍ فَتُكْدِيَ
Wa la tufni khaza’ina mawahibikan-ni’amu wa la takhafu dayma imlaqin fatukdiya.
Blessings do not exhaust the treasuries of Your gifts, nor do You fear the injustice of poverty such that You would withhold.

وَ لَا يَلْحَقُكَ خَوْفُ عُدْمٍ فَيَنْقُصَ فَيْضُ فَضْلِكَ. اللَّهُمَّ ارْزُقْنِي قَلْباً خَاشِعاً
Wa la yalhaquka khawfu ‘udmin fayanqusa faydu fadlik. Allahummar-zuqni qalban khashi’a.
Nor does fear of want reach You so that the flow of Your grace would decrease. O Allah, provide me with a humble heart.

وَ يَقِيناً صَادِقاً وَ لِسَاناً ذَاكِراً وَ لَا تُؤْمِنِّي مَكْرَكَ وَ لَا تَكْشِفْ عَنِّي سِتْرَكَ
Wa yaqinan sadiqan wa lisanan dhakiran wa la tu’minni makraka wa la takshif ‘anni sitrak.
And a truthful certainty, and a remembering tongue; and do not make me feel safe from Your plan, nor uncover Your veil from me.

وَ لَا تُنْسِنِي ذِكْرَكَ وَ لَا تُبَاعِدْنِي مِنْ جِوَارِكَ وَ لَا تَقْطَعْنِي مِنْ رَحْمَتِكَ
Wa la tunsini dhikraka wa la taba’idni min jiwarika wa la taqta’ni min rahmatik.
Do not make me forget Your remembrance, nor distance me from Your proximity, nor cut me off from Your mercy.

وَ لَا تُؤْيِسْنِي مِنْ رَوْحِكَ وَ كُنْ لِي أَنِيساً مِنْ كُلِّ وَحْشَةٍ وَ اعْصِمْنِي مِنْ كُلِّ هَلَكَةٍ
Wa la tu’yisni min rawhika wa kun li anisan min kulli wahshatin wa’simni min kulli halakah.
Do not make me despair of Your comfort; be my companion in every loneliness and protect me from every destruction.

وَ نَجِّنِي مِنْ كُلِّ بَلَاءٍ فَإِنَّكَ لَا تُخْلِفُ الْمِيعَادَ. اللَّهُمَّ ارْفَعْنِي وَ لَا تَضَعْنِي
Wa najjini min kulli bala’in fainnaka la tukhliful-mi’ad. Allahummar-fa’ni wa la tada’ni.
And save me from every trial, for You do not fail in Your promise. O Allah, raise me and do not debase me.

وَ زِدْنِي وَ لَا تَنْقُصْنِي وَ ارْحَمْنِي وَ لَا تُعَذِّبْنِي وَ انْصُرْنِي وَ لَا تَخْذُلْنِي
Wa zidni wa la tanqusni warhamni wa la tu’adh-dhibni wansurni wa la takhdhulni.
And increase me and do not diminish me, and have mercy on me and do not punish me, and help me and do not forsake me.

وَ آثِرْنِي وَ لَا تُؤْثِرْ عَلَيَّ وَ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ الطَّيِّبِينَ الطَّاهِرِينَ وَ سَلِّمْ تَسْلِيماً كَثِيراً
Wa athirni wa la tu’thir ‘alayya wa salli ‘ala Muhammadin wa ali Muhammadinil-tayyibinat-tahirina wa sallim tasliman kathira.
And prefer me and do not prefer others over me; and bless Muhammad and the family of Muhammad, the good and pure, and grant them abundant peace.

Second version to check
بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ.
اَللّٰہُمَّ اَنْتَ الْمَلِکُ لَا اِلٰہَ اِلَّا اَنْتَ فَاَنَا عَبْدُکَ ظَلَمْتُ نَفْسِیْ وَ اعْتَرَفْتُ بِذَنْبِیْ فَاغْفِرْ لِیَ الذُّنُوْبَ لَا اِلٰہَ اِلَّا اَنْتَ يَا غَفُوْرُ.
اَللّٰہُمَّ اِنَّیْ اَحْمَدُکَ وَ اَنْتَ لِلْحَمْدِ اَہْلٌ عَلٰی مَا خَصَصْتَنِیْ بِہٖ مِنْ مَوَاہِبِ الرَّغَآئِبِ وَ وَصَلَ اِلَیَّ مِنْ فَضَآئِلِ الصَّنَآئِعِ وَ عَلٰی مَا اَوْلَیْتَنِیْ بِہٖ وَ تَوَلَّیْتَنِیْ بِہٖ مِنْ رِضْوَانِکَ وَ اَنَلْتَنِیْ مِنْ مَنِّکَ الْوَاصِلِ اِلَیَّ وَ مِنَ الدِّفَاعِ عَنِّیْ وَ التَّوْفِیْقِ لِیْ وَ الْاِجَابَۃِ لِدُعَآئِیْ حَتّٰی اُنَاجِیَکَ رَاغِبًا وَ اَدْعُوْکَ مُصَافِیًا وَ حَتّٰی اَرْجُوَکَ فَاَجِدَکَ فِیْ الْمَوَاطِنِ کُلِّہَا لِیْ جَابِرًا وَ فِیْ اُمُوْرِیْ نَاظِرًا وَ لِذُنُوْبِیْ غَافِرًا وَ لِعَوْرَتِیْ سَاتِرًا.
لَمْ اَعْدَمْ خَیْرَکَ طَرْفَۃَ عَیْنٍ مُذْ اَنْزَلْتَنِیْ دَارَ الْاِخْتِیَارِ لِتَنْظُرَ مَا ذَا اُقَدِّمُ لِدَارِ الْقَرَارِ فَاَنَا عَتِیْقُکَ.
اَللّٰہُمَّ مِنْ جَمِیْعِ الْمَصَآئِبِ وَ اللَّوَازِبِ وَ الْغُمُوْمِ الَّتِیْ سَاوَرَتْنِیْ فِیْہَا الْہُمُوْمُ بِمَعَارِیْضِ الْقَضَآءِ وَ مَصْرُوْفِ جَہْدِ الْبَلَآءِ لَا اَذْکُرُ مِنْکَ اِلَّا الْجَمِیْلَ وَ لَا اَرٰی مِنْکَ غَیْرَ التَّفْضِیْلِ خَیْرُکَ لِیْ شَامِلٌ وَّ فَضْلُکَ عَلَیَّ مُتَوَاتِرٌ وَ نِعَمُکَ عِنْدِیْ مُتَّصِلَۃٌ سَوَابِغُ لَمْ تُحَقِّقْ حِذَارِیْ بَلْ صَدَقْتَ رَجَآئِیْ وَ صَاحَبْتَ اَسْفَارِیْ وَ اَکْرَمْتَ اَحْضَارِیْ وَ شَفَیْتَ اَمْرَاضِیْ وَ عَافَیْتَ اَوْصَابِیْ وَ اَحْسَنْتَ مُنْقَلَبِیْ وَ مَثْوٰیَ وَ لَمْ تُشْمِتْ بِیْ اَعْدَآئِیْ وَ رَمَیْتَ مَنْ رَمَانِیْ وَ کَفَیْتَنِیْ شَرَّ مَنْ اَعْدَانِیْ.
اَللّٰہُمَّ کَمْ مِنْ عُدُوٍّ اِنْتَضٰی عَلَیَّ سَیْفَ عَدَاوَتِہٖ وَ شَحَذَ لِقَتْلِیْ ظُبَۃَ مُدْیَتِہٖ وَ اَرْہَفَ لِیْ شَبَا حَدِّہٖ وَ دَافَ لِیْ قَوَاتِلَ سُمُوْمِہٖ وَ سَدَّدَ لِیْ صَوَآئِبَ سِہَامِہٖ وَ اَضْمَرَ اَنْ یَسُوْمَنِیْ الْمَکْرُوْہَ وَ یُجَرِّعَنِیْ ذُعَافَ مَرَارَتِہٖ فَنَظَرْتَ.
یَآ اِلٰہِیْ اِلٰی ضَعْفِیْ عَنْ اِحْتِمَالِ الْفَوَادِحِ وَ عَجْزِيْ عَنِ الْاِنْتِصَارِ مِمَّنْ قَصَدَنِیْ بِمُحَارِبَتِہٖ وَ وَحْدَتِیْ فِیْ کَثِیْرٍ مَنْ نَاوَانِیْ وَ اَرْصَدَ لِیْ فِیْمَا لَمْ اُعْمِلْ فِیْہِ فِکْرِیْ فِیْ الْاِنْتِصَارِ مِنْ مِثْلِہٖ فَاَیَّدْتَنِیْ.
یَا رَبِّ بِعَوْنِکَ وَ شَدَدْتَ اَیْدِیْ بِنَصْرِکَ ثُمَّ فَلَلْتَ لِیْ حَدَّہٗ وَ صَیَّرْتَہٗ بَعْدَ جَمْعِ عَدِیْدِهٖ وَحْدَہٗ وَ اَعْلَیْتَ کَعْبِیْ عَلَیْہِ وَ رَدَدْتَہٗ حَسِیْرًا لَمْ یَشْفِ غَلِیْلَہٗ وَ لَمْ تُبَرِّدْ حَرَارَۃِ غَیْظِہٖ قَدْ عَضَّ عَلٰی شَوَاہُ وَ آبَ مُوَلِّیًا قَدْ اُخْلِقَتْ سَرَایَاہُ وَ اُخْلِفَتْ اٰمَالُہٗ.
اَللّٰہُمَّ وَ کَمْ مِنْ بَاغٍ بَغٰی عَلَیَّ بِمَکَائِدِہٖ وَ نَصَبَ لِیْ شَرَکَ مَصَائِدِہٖ وَ ضَبَاَ اِلَیَّ ضَبَاَ السَّبْعِ لِطَرِیْدَتِہٖ وَ انْتَہَزَ فُرْصَتَہٗ وَ اللِّحَاقَ بِفَرِیْصَتِہٖ وَ ہُوَ یُظْہِرُ بَشَاشَۃَ الْمَلَقِ وَ یَبْسُطُ اِلَیَّ وَجْہًا طَلِقًا فَلَمَّا رَاَیْتَ.
یَا اِلٰہِیْ دَغَلَ سَرِیْرَتِہٖ وَ قُبْحَ طَوِیَّتِہٖ اَنْکَسْتَہٗ لِاُمِّ رَاسِہٖ فِیْ زُبْیَتِہٖ وَ اَرْکَسْتَہٗ فِیْ مَہْوٰی حَفِيْرَتِہٖ وَ اَنْکَصْتَہٗ عَلٰی عَقِبَيْہِ وَ رَمَیْتَہٗ بِحَجَرِہٖ وَ نَکَاتَہٗ بِمَشْقَصَتِہٖ وَ خَنَقْتَہٗ بِوَتْرِہٖ وَ رَدَدْتَ کَیْدَہٗ فِیْ نَحْرِہٖ وَ وَبَقْتَہٗ بِنَدَامَتِہٖ فَاسْتَخْذَلَ وَ تَضَآئَلَ بَعْدَ نَخْوَتِہٖ وَ بَخْعَ وَ انْقَمَعَ بَعْدَ اسْتِطَالَتِہٖ ذَلِیْلًا مَاسُوْرًا فِیْ حَبَآئِلِہِ الَّتِیْ کَانَ یُحِبُّ اَنْ یَرَانِیْ فِيْهَا وَ قَدْ کِدْتُ لَوْ لَا رَحْمَتُکَ اَنْ یَحِلَّ بِیْ مَا حَلَّ بِسَاحَتِہٖ.
فَالْحَمْدُ لِرَبٍّ مُقْتَدِرٍ لَا یُنَازَعُ وَ لِوَلِیٍّ ذِیْ اَنَاۃٍ لَا یَعْجَلُ وَ قَیُّوْمٍ لَا یَغْفُلُ وَ حَلِیْمٍ لَا یَجْہَلُ نَادَیْتُکَ.
یَآ اِلٰہِیْ مُسْتَجِیْرًا بِکَ وَاثِقًا بِسُرْعَۃِ اِجَابَتِکَ مُتَوَکِّلًا عَلٰی مَا لَمْ اَزَلْ اَعْرِفُہٗ مِنْ حُسْنِ دِفَاعِکَ عَنِّیْ عَالِمًا اَنَّہٗ لَنْ یَضْطَہَدَ مَنْ اَوٰی اِلٰی ظِلِّ کَنَفِکَ وَ لَا تَقْرَعُ الْقَوَارِعُ مَنْ لَجَآءَ اِلٰی مَعْقَلِ الْاِنْتِصَارِ بِکَ فَخَلَّصْتَنِیْ.
یَا رَبِّ بِقُدْرَتِکَ وَ نَجَّیْتَنِیْ مِنْ بَاْسِہٖ بِتَطَوُّلِکَ وَ مَنِّکَ.
اَللّٰہُمَّ وَ کَمْ مِنْ سَحَآئِبِ مَکْرُوْہٍ جَلَّیْتَہَا وَ سَمَآءِ نِعَمَۃٍ اَمْطَرْتَہَا وَ جَدَاوِلِ کَرَامَۃٍ جَرَیْتَہَا وَ اَعْیُنِ اَحْدَاثٍ طَمَسْتَہَا وَ نَاشِئِيْ رَحْمَۃٍ نَشَرْتَہَا وَ غَوَاشِیْ کُرَبٍ فَرَّجْتَہَا وَ غُمَمِ بَلَآءٍ کَشَفْتَہَا وَ جُنَّۃٍ عَافِیَۃٍ اَلْبَسْتَہَا وَ اُمْورٍ حَادِثَۃٍ قَدَّرْتَہَا لَمْ یُعْجِزْکَ اِذْ طَلَبْتَہَا فَلَمْ تَمْتَنِعْ مِنْکَ اِذْ اَرَدْتَہَا.
اَللّٰہُمَّ وَ کَمْ حَاسِدِ سُوٓءٍ تَوَلَّنِیْ بِحَسَدِہٖ وَ سَلَقَنِیْ بِحَدِّ لِسَانِہٖ وَ خَزَنِیْ بِقَرْفِ عَیْنِہٖ وَ جَعَلَ عِرْضِیْ غَرَضًا لِمَرَامِیْہِ وَ قَلَّدَنِیْ خَلَالًا لَمْ تَزَلْ فِیْہِ کَفَیْتَنِیْ اَمْرَہٗ.
اَللّٰہُمَّ وَ کَمْ مِنْ ظَنٍّ حَسَنٍ حَقَّقْتَ وَ عُدْمٍ وَ اِمْلَاقٍ ضَرَّرَنِيْ جَبَرْتَ وَ اَوْسَعْتَ وَ مِنْ صَرْعَۃٍ اَقَمْتَ وَ مِنْ کُرْبَۃٍ نَفَّسْتَ وَ مِنْ مَسْکَنَۃٍ حَوَّلْتَ وَ مِنْ نِعَمَۃٍ خَوَّلْتَ لَا تُسْالُ عَمَّا تَفْعَلُ وَ لَا بِمَا اَعْطَیْتَ تَبْخَلُ وَ لَقَدْ سُئِلْتَ فَبَذَلْتَ وَ لَمْ تُسْاَلْ فَابْتَدَاْتَ وَ اسْتُمِیْعَ فَضْلُکَ فَمَا اَکْدَيْتَ اَبَیْتَ اِلَّا اِنْعَامًا وَ اِمْتِنَانًا وَ تَطَوُّلًا وَ اَبَیْتُ اِلَّا تَقَحُّمًا عَلٰی مَعَاصِیْکَ وَ اِنْتِہَاکًا لِّحُرُمَاتِکَ وَ تَعَدِّیًا لِحُدُوْدِکَ وَ غَفْلَۃً عَنْ وَعِیْدِکَ وَطَاعَۃً لِعَدُوِّیْ وَ عَدُوِّکَ لَمْ تَمْتَنِعْ عَنْ اِتْمَامِ اِحْسَانِکَ وَ تَتَابُعِ امْتِنَانِکَ وَ لَمْ یَحْجُرْنِیْ ذٰلِکَ عَنِ ارْتِکَابِ مَسَاخِطِکَ.
اَللّٰہُمَّ فَہٰذَا مَقَامُ الْمُعْتَرِفِ بِکَ بِالتَّقْصِیْرِ عَنْ اَدَآءِ حَقِّکَ الشَّاہِدِ عَلٰی نَفْسِہٖ بِسُبُوْغِ نِعْمَتِکَ وَ حُسْنِ کِفَایَتِکَ.
فَہَبْ لِیَ.
اللّٰہُمَّ یَا اِلٰہِیْ مَا اَصِلُ بِہٖ اِلٰی رَحْمَتِکَ وَاتَّخِذُہٗ سُلَّمًا اَعْرُجُ فِیْہِ اِلٰی مَرْضَاتِکَ وَ اٰمَنُ بِہٖ مِنْ عِقَابِکَ فَاِنَّکَ تَفْعَلُ مَا تَشَآءُ وَ تَحْکُمُ مَا تُرِیْدُ وَ اَنْتَ عَلٰی کُلِّ شَیْءٍ قَدِیْرٌ.
اَللّٰہُمَّ فَحَمْدِیْ لَکَ مُتَوَاصِلٌ وَ ثَنَآئِیْ عَلَیْکَ دَآئِمٌ مِنَ الدَّہْرِ اِلَی الدَّہْرِ بِاَلْوَانِ التَّسْبِیْحِ وَ فُنُوْنِ التَّقْدِیْسِ خَالِصًا لِذِکْرِکَ وَ مَرْضِیًّا لَکَ بِنَاصِحِ التَّحْمِیْدِ وَ مَحْضِ التَّمْجِیْدِ وَ طُوْلِ التَّعْدِیْدِ فِیْ اِکْذَابِ اَہْلِ التَّنْدِیْدِ لَمْ تُعِنْ فِیْ قُدْرَتِکَ وَ لَمْ تُشَارَکْ فِیْ اِلٰہِیَّتِکَ وَ لَمْ تُعَایَنْ اِذْ حَبَسْتَ الْاَشْیَآءَ عَلَی الْغَرَآئِزِ الْمُخْتَلِفَاتِ وَ فَطَرْتَ الْخَلَآئِقَ عَلٰی صُنُوْفِ الْہَیْئَآتِ وَ لَا خَرَقَتِ الْاَوْہَامُ حُجُبَ الْغُیُوْبُ اِلَیْکَ فَاَعْتَقَدْتُ مِنْکَ مَحْدُوْدًا فِیْ عَظَمَتِکَ وَ لَا کَیْفِیَّۃِ فِیْ اَزَلِیَّتِکَ وَ لَا مُمْکِنًا فِیْ قِدَمِکَ وَ لَا یَبْلُغُکَ بُعْدُ الْہِمَمِ وَ لَا یَنَالُکَ غَوْصُ الْفِطَنِ وَ لَا یَنْتَہِیْ اِلَیْکَ نَظَرُ النَّاظِرِیْنَ فِیْ مَجْدِ جَبَرُوْتِکَ وَ عَظِیْمِ قُدْرَتِکَ ارْتَفَعَتْ عَنْ صِفَۃِ الْمَخْلُوْقِیْنَ صِفَۃُ قُدْرَتِکَ وَ عَلَا عَنْ ذٰلِکَ کِبْرِیَآءُ عَظَمَتِکَ وَ لَا یَنْقُصُ مَا اَرَدْتَ اَنْ یَزْدَادَ وَ لَا يَزْدَادُ مَا اَرَدْتَ اَنْ یَّنْقُصَ وَ لَا اَحَدٌ شَہِدَکَ حِیْنَ فَطَرْتَ الْخَلْقَ وَ لَا ضِدٌّ حَضَرَکَ حِیْنَ بَرَاْتَ النُّفُوْسَ کَلَّتِ الْاَلْسُنُ عَنْ تَفْسِیْرِ صِفَتِکَ وَ انْحسَرَتِ الْعُقُوْلُ عَنْ کُنْہِ مَعْرِفَتِکَ وَ کَیْفَ تُدْرِکُکَ الصِّفَاتُ اَوْ تَحْوِیْکَ الْجِہَاتُ وَ اَنْتَ الْجَبَّارُ الْقُدُّوْسُ الَّذِیْ لَمْ تَزَلْ اَزَلِیًّا دَائِمًا فِی الْغُیُوْبِ وَحْدَکَ لَیْسَ فِیْہَا غَیْرُکَ وَ لَمْ یَکُنْ لَہَا سِوَاکَ.
حَارَتْ فِیْ مَلَکُوْتِکَ عَمِیْقَاتُ مَذَاہِبِ التَّفْکِیْرِ وَ حَسَرَ عَنْ اِدْرَاكِکَ بَصَرُ الْبَصِیْرِ وَ تَوَاضَعَتِ الْمُلُوْکُ لِہَیْبَتِکَ وَ عَنَتِ الْوُجُوْہُ بِذُلِّ الْاِسْتِکَانَۃِ لِعِزَّتِکَ وَ انْقَادَ کُلُّ شَیْءٍ لِعَظْمَتِكَ وَ اسْتَسْلَمَ کُلُّ شَیْءٍ لِقُدْرَتِکَ وَ خَضَعَتِ الرِّقَابُ لِسُلْطَانِکَ وَ ضَلَّ ہُنَالِکَ التَّدْبِیْرُ فِیْ تَصَارِیْفِ الصِّفَاتِ لَکَ فَمَنْ تَفکَّرَ فِیْ ذٰلِکَ رَجَعَ طَرْفُہٗ اِلَیْہِ حَسِیْرًا وَ عَقْلُہٗ مَبْہُوْتًا مَبْہُوْرًا وَ فِکْرُہٗ مَتَحَیِّرًا.
اَللّٰہُمَّ فَلَکَ الْحَمْدُ مُتَوَاتِرًا مُتَوَالِیًا مُتَّسِقًا مُسْتَوْثِقًا یَدُوْمُ وَ لَا یَبِیْدُ غَیْرَ مَفْقُوْدٍ فِی الْمَلَکُوْتِ وَ لَا مَطْمُوْسٍ فِیْ الْعَالَمِ وَ لَا مُنْتَقَصٍ فِی الْعِرْفَانِ.
فَلَکَ الْحَمْدُ حَمْدًا لَا تُحْصٰی مَكَارِمُهٗ فِی اللَّیْلِ اِذَا اَدْبَرَ وَ فِی الصُّبْحِ اِذَا اَسْفَرَ وَ فِیْ الْبَرِّ وَ الْبَحْرِ وَ بِالْغُدُوِّ وَ الْاٰصَالِ وَ الْعَشِیِّ وَ الْاِبْکَارِ وَ الظَّہِیْرَۃِ وَ الْاَسْحَارِ.
اَللّٰہُمَّ بِتَوْفِیْقِکَ اَحْضَرْتَنِیْ النَّجَاۃَ وَ جَعَلْتَنِیْ مِنْکَ فِیْ وَلَایَۃِ الْعِصْمَۃِ وَ لَمْ تُکَلِّفْنِیْ فَوْقَ طَاقَتِیْ اِذْ لَمْ تَرْضَ عَنِّیْ اِلَّا بِطَاعَتِیْ فَلَیْسَ شُکْرِیْ وَ اِنْ دَاَبْتُ مِنْہُ فِی الْمَقَالِ وَ بَالَغْتُ مِنْہُ فِی الْفَعَالِ بِبَالِغِ اَدَآءِ حَقِّکَ وَ لَا مُکَافٍ فَضْلَکَ لِاَنَّکَ اَنْتَ اللهُ لَا اِلٰہَ اِلَّا اَنْتَ لَمْ تَغِبْ عَنْکَ غَائِبَۃٌ وَّ لَا تَخْفٰی عَلَیْکَ خَافِیَۃٌ وَ لَا تَضِلُّ لَکَ فِیْ ظُلَمِ الْخَفِیَّاتِ ضَآلَّۃٌ اِنَّمَا اَمْرُکَ اِذَا اَرَدْتَ شَیْئًا اَنْ تَقُوْلَ لَہٗ کُنْ فَیَکُوْنَ.
اَللّٰہُمَّ لَکَ الْحَمْدُ مِثْلَ مَا حَمِدْتَ بِہٖ نَفْسَکَ وَ حَمِدَکَ بِہِ الْحَامِدُوْنَ وَ مَجَّدَکَ بِہِ الْمُمَجِّدُوْنَ وَ کَبَّرَکَ بِہِ الْمُکَبِّرُوْنَ وَ عَظَّمَکَ بِہِ الْمُعَظِّمُوْنَ حَتّٰی یَکُوْنَ لَکَ مِنِّیْ وَحْدِیْ فِیْ کُلِّ طَرَفَۃِ عَیْنٍ وَ اَقَلَّ مِنْ ذٰلِکَ مِثْلُ حَمْدِ جَمِیْعِ الْحَامِدِیْنَ وَ تَوْحِیْدِ اَصْنَافِ الْمُخْلِصِیْنَ وَ تَقْدِیْسِ اَحِبَّآئِكَ الْعَارِفِیْنَ وَ ثَنَاءِ جَمِیْعِ الْمُہَلِّلِیْنَ وَ مِثْلُ مَا اَنْتَ عَارِفٌ بِہٖ وَ مَحْمُوْدٌ بِہٖ مِنْ جَمِیْعِ خَلْقِکَ مِنَ الْحَیَوَانِ وَ الْجَمَادِ وَ اَرْغَبُ اِلَیْكَ.
اَللّٰہُمَّ فِیْ شُکْرِ مَا اَنْطَقْتَنِیْ بِہٖ مِنْ حَمْدِکَ فَمَا اَیْسَرَ مَا کَلَّفْتَنِیْ بِہٖ مِنْ ذٰلِکَ وَ اَعْظَمَ مَا وَعَدْتَنِیْ عَلٰی شُکْرِکَ اِبْتَدَاتَنِیْ بِالنِّعَمِ فَضْلًا وَ طَوْلًا وَ اَمَرْتَنِیْ بِالشُّکْرِ حَقًّا وَ عَدْلًا وَ وَعَدْتَنِیْ عَلَیْہِ اَضْعَافًا وَ مَزِیْدًا وَ اَعْطَیْتَنِیْ مِنْ رِزْقِکَ اِعْتِبَارًا وَ اِمْتِحَانًا وَ سَاَلَتَنِیْ مِنْہُ قَرْضًا یَسِیْرًا وَ اَعْطَیْتَنِیْ عَلَیْہِ عَطَآءً کَثِیْرًا وَ عَافَیْتَنِیْ مِنْ جَہْدِ الْبَلَآءِ وَ لَمْ تُسَلِّمْنِیْ لِلسُّوْٓءِ مِنْ بَلَآئِکَ وَ مَنَحْتَنِیْ الْعَافِیَۃَ وَ وَلَّیْتَنِیْ بِالبَسْطَۃِ وَ الرَّخَآءِ وَ ضَاعَفْتَ لِیَ الْفَضْلَ مَعَ مَا وَعَدْتَنِیْ بِہٖ مِنَ الْمَحَلَّۃِ الشَّرِیْفَۃِ وَ بَشَّرْتَنِیْ بِہٖ مِنَ الدَّرَجَۃِ الرَّفِیْعَۃِ الْمَنِیْعَۃِ وَ اصْطَفَیْتَنِیْ بِاَعْظَمِ النَّبِیِّیْنَ دَعْوَۃً وَ اَفْضَلِہِمْ شَفَاعَۃَ مُحَمَّدٍ صَلَّی اللهُ عَلَیْہِ وَ اٰلِہٖ.
اَللّٰہُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِیْ مَا لَا یَسَعُہٗ اِلَّا مَغْفِرَتُکَ وَ لَا یَمْحَقُہٗ اِلَّا عَفْوُکَ وَ ہَبْ لِیْ فِیْ یَوْمِیْ ہٰذَا وَ سَاعَتِیْ ہٰذِہٖ یَقِیْنًا یُہَوِّنُ عَلَیَّ مُصِیْبَاتِ الدُّنْیَا وَ اَحْزَانَہَا وَ یُشَوِّقُ اِلَیْکَ وَ یُرَغِّبُ اِلَيْكَ فِیْمَا عِنْدَکَ وَ اکْتُبْ لِیَ الْمَغْفِرَۃَ وَ بَلِّغْنِیْ الْکَرَامَۃَ وَ ارْزُقْنِیْ شُکْرَ مَا اَنْعَمْتَ بِہٖ عَلَیَّ فَاِنَّکَ اَنْتَ اللهُ الْوَاحِدُ الرَّفِیْعُ الْبَدِٓيُّ الْبَدِيْعُ السَّمِیْعُ الْعَلِیْمُ الَّذِیْ لَیْسَ لِاَمْرِکَ مَدْفَعٌ وَ لَا عَنْ قَضَآئِکَ مُمْتَنِعٌ وَ اَشْہَدُ اَنَّکَ اَنْتَ اللهُ رَبِّیْ وَ رَبُّ کُلِّ شَیْءٍ فَاطِرُ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَ الْاَرْضِ عَالِمُ الْغَیْبِ وَ الشَّہَادَۃِ الْعَلِیُّ الْکَبِیْرُ.
اَللّٰہُمَّ اِنِّیْ اَسْاَلُکَ الثَّبَاتَ فِیْ الْاَمْرِ وَ الْعَزِیْمَۃَ فِی الرُّشْدِ وَ اِلْہَامَ الشُّکْرِ عَلٰی نِعْمَتِکَ وَ اَعُوْذُ بِکَ مِنْ جَوْرِ کُلِّ جَآئِرٍ وَ بَغْیِ کُلِّ بَاغٍ وَ حَسَدِ کُلِّ حَاسِدٍ.
اَللّٰہُمَّ بِکَ اَصُوْلُ عَلَی الْاَعْدَآءِ وَ اِیَّاکَ اَرْجُوْا وَلَایَۃَ الْاَحِبَّآءِ مَعَ مَا لَا اَسْتَطِیْعُ اِحْصَآئَہٗ مِنْ فَوَائِدِ فَضْلِکَ وَ اَصْنَافِ رِفْدِکَ وَ اَنْوَاعِ رِزْقِکَ فَاِنَّکَ اَنْتَ اللهُ لَا اِلٰہَ اِلَّا اَنْتَ الْفَاشِیْ فِیْ الْخَلْقِ حَمْدُکَ الْبَاسِطُ بِالْجُوْدِ یَدَکَ لَا تُضَآدُّ فِیْ حُکْمِکَ وَ لَا تُنَازَعُ فِیْ مُلْکِکَ وَ لَا تُرَاجَعُ فِیْ اَمْرِکَ تَمْلِکُ مِنَ الْاَنَامِ مَا شِئْتَ وَ لَا یَمْلِکُوْنَ اِلَّا مَا تُرِیْدُ.
اَنْتَ الْمُنْعِمُ الْمُفْضِلُ الْقَادِرُ الْقَاہِرُ الْمُقَدَّسُ فِیْ نُوْرِ الْقُدْسِ تَرَدَّیْتَ بِالْعِزِّ وَ الْمَجْدِ وَ تَعَظَّمْتَ بِالْقُدْرَۃِ وَ الْکِبْرِیَآءِ وَ غَشَّیْتَ النُّوْرَ بِالْبَہَآءِ وَ جَلَّلْتَ الْبَہَآءَ بِالْمَہَابَۃِ.
اَللّٰہُمَّ لَکَ الْحَمْدُ الْعَظِیْمُ وَ الْمَنُّ الْقَدِيْمُ وَ السُّلْطَانُ الشَّامِخُ وَ الْجُوْدُ الْوَاسِعُ وَ الْقُدْرَۃُ الْمُقْتَدِرَۃُ وَ الْحَمْدُ الْمُتَتَابِعُ الَّذِیْ لَا یَنْفَدُ بِالشُّکْرِ سَرْمَدًا وَ لَا یَنْقَضِیْ اَبَدًا اِذْ جَعَلْتَنِیْ مِنْ اَفَاضِلَ بَنِیْ اٰدَمَ وَ جَعَلْتَنِیْ سَمِیْعًا بَصِیْرًا صَحِیْحًا سَوِیًّا مُعَافًا لَمْ یَشْغِلْنِیْ بِنُقْصَانٍ فِیْ بَدَنِیْ وَ لَا بِاٰفَۃٍ فِیْ جَوَارِحِیْ وَ لَا عَاہَۃٍ فِیْ نَفْسِیْ وَ لَا فِیْ عَقْلِیْ وَ لَمْ یَمْنَعْکَ کَرَامَتُکَ اِیَّایَ وَ حُسْنُ صَنِیْعِکَ عِنْدِیْ وَ فَضْلُ نَعْمَآئِکَ عَلَیَّ اِذْ وَسَّعْتَ عَلَیَّ فِیْ الدُّنْیَا وَ فَضَّلْتَنِیْ عَلٰی کَثِیْرٍ مِنْ اَہْلِہَا تَفْضِیْلًا وَ جَعَلْتَنِیْ سَمِیْعًا اَعْیِيْ مَا کَلَّفْتَنِیْ بَصِیْرًا اَرٰی قُدْرَتَکَ فِیْمَا ظَہَرَ لِیْ وَ اسْتَرْعَیْتَنِیْ وَ اسْتَوْدَعْتَنِىْ‏ قَلْبًا یَشْہَدُ بِعَظْمَتِکَ وَ لِسَانًا نَاطِقًا بِتَوْحِیْدِکَ فَاِنِّیْ لِفَضْلِکَ عَلَیَّ حَامِدٌ وَ لِتَوْفِیْقِکَ اِیَّایَ بِجُہْدِیْ شَاکِرٌ وَ بِحَقِّکَ شَاہِدٌ وَ اِلَیْکَ فِیْ مُلِمِّیْ وَ مُہِمِّیْ ضَارِعٌ لِاَنَّکَ حَیٌّ قَبْلَ کُلِّ حَیٍّ وَ حَیٌّ بَعْدَ کُلِّ مَیِّتٍ وَ حَیٌّ تَرِثُ الْاَرْضَ وَ مَنْ عَلَیْہَا وَ اَنْتَ خَیْرُ الْوَارِثِیْنَ.
اَللّٰہُمَّ لَا تَقْطَعْ عَنِّیْ خَیْرَکَ فِیْ کُلِّ وَقْتٍ وَ لَمْ تُنْزِلْ بِیْ عُقُوْبَاتِ النِّقَمِ وَ لَمْ تُغَیِّرْ مَا بِیْ مِنَ النِّعَمِ وَ لَا اَخْلَیْتَنِیْ مِنْ وَثِیْقِ الْعِصَمِ فَلَوْ لَمْ اَذْکُرْ مِنْ اِحْسَانِکَ اِلَیَّ وَ اِنْعَامِکَ عَلَیَّ اِلَّا عَفْوَکَ عَنِّیْ وَ الْاِسْتِجَابَۃَ لِدُعَآئِیْ حِیْنَ رَفَعْتُ رَاْسِیْ بِتَحْمِیْدِکَ وَ تَمْجِیْدِکَ لَا فِیْ تَقْدِیْرِکَ جَزِیْلَ حَظِّیْ حِیْنَ وَفَّرْتَہٗ اِنْتَقَصَ مُلْکُکَ وَ لَا فِیْ قِسْمَۃِ الْاَرْزَاقِ حِیْنَ فَتَرْتَ عَلَیَّ تَوَفَّرَ مُلْکُکَ.
اَللّٰہُمَّ لَکَ الْحَمْدُ عَدَدَ مَا اَدْرَكَتْهُ قُدْرَتُكَ وَ عَدَدَ مَا وَسِعَتْهُ رَحْمَتُکَ وَ اَضْعَافَ ذٰلِکَ کُلِّہٖ حَمْدًا وَاصِلًا مُتَوَاتِرًا مُوَازِنًا لِاٰلَآئِکَ وَ اَسْمَآئِکَ.
اَللّٰہُمَّ فَتَمِّمْ اِحْسَانَکَ اِلَیَّ فِیْمَا بَقِیَ مِنْ عُمُرِیْ کَمَا اَحْسَنْتَ فِیْمَا مِنْہُ مَضٰی فَاِنِّیْ اَتَوَسَّلُ اِلَیْکَ بَتَوْحِیْدِکَ وَ تَہْلِیْلِکَ وَ تَمْجِیْدِکَ وَ تَکْبِیْرِکَ وَ تَعْظِیْمِکَ وَ اَسْئَلُکَ بِاِسْمِکَ الَّذِیْ خَلَقْتَہٗ مِنْ ذٰلِکَ فَلَا یَخْرُجُ مِنْکَ اِلَّا اِلَیْکَ وَ اَسْئَلُکَ بِاِسْمِکَ الرُّوْحِ الْمَکْنُوْنِ الْمَخْزُوْنِ الْحَیِّ الْحَیِّ الْحَیِّ وَ بِہٖ وَ بِہٖ وَ بِہٖ وَ بِکَ وَ بِکَ وَ بِکَ اَنْ لَا تَحْرِمْنِیْ رِفْدَکَ وَ فَوَائِدَ کَرَامَاتِکَ وَ لَا تُوَلَّنِیْ غَیْرَکَ بِکَ وَ لَا تُسَلِّمْنِیْ اِلٰی عَدُوِّیْ وَ لَا تَکِلْنِیْ اِلٰی نَفْسِیْ وَ اَحْسِنْ اِلَیَّ اَتَمَّ الْاِحْسَانِ عَاجِلًا وَ آجِلًا وَ حَسِّنْ فِیْ الْعَاجِلَۃِ عَمَلِیْ وَ بَلِّغْنِیْ فِیْہَا اَمَلِیْ وَ فِیْ الْاٰجِلَۃِ وَ الْخَیْرَ فِيْ مُنْقَلَبِیْ فَاِنَّہٗ لَا یُفْقِرُکَ کَثْرَۃُ مَا یَتَدَفَّقُ بِہٖ فَضْلُکَ وَ سَیْبُ الْعَطَایَا مِنْ مِنَنِکَ وَ لَا یَنْقُصُ جُوْدَکَ تَقْصِیْرِیْ فِیْ شُکْرِ نِعْمَتِکَ وَ لَا تُجِمُّ خَزَآئِنَ نِعْمَتِکَ النِّعَمُ وَ لَا یَنْقُصُ عَظِیْمَ مَوَاہِبِکَ مِنْ سَعَتِکَ الْاِعْطَآءُ وَ لَا تُؤَثِّرُ فِیْ جُوْدِکَ الْعَظِیْمِ الْفَاضِلِ الْجَلِیْلِ مِنَحُکَ وَ لَا تَخَافُ ضَیْمَ اِمْلَاقٍ فَتُکْدِیَ وَ لَا یَلْحَقُکَ خَوْفُ عُدْمٍ فَیَنْقُصَ فَیْضُ مُلْکِکَ وَ فَضْلِكَ.
اَللّٰہُمَّ ارْزُقْنَا قَلْبًا خَاشِعًا وَ یَقِیْنًا صَادِقًا بِالْحَقِّ صَادِعًا وَ لَا تُؤْمِنِّیْ مَکْرَکَ وَ لَا تُنْسِنِیْ ذِکْرَکَ وَ تَہْتِکَ عَنِّیْ سِتْرَکَ وَ لَا تُوَلِّنِیْ غَیْرَکَ وَ لَا تُقَنِّطْنِیْ مِنْ رَحْمَتِکَ بَلْ تَغَمَّدْنِیْ بِفَوَائِدِکَ وَ لَا تَمْنَعْنِیْ جَمِیْلَ عَوَآئِدِکَ وَ کُنْ لِیْ فِیْ کُلِّ وَحْشَۃٍ اَنِیْسًا وَ فِیْ کُلِّ جَزَعٍ حِصْنًا وَ مِنْ کُلِّ ہَلَکَۃٍ غِیَاثًا.
وَ نَجِّنِیْ مِنْ کُلِّ بِلَآءٍ وَ خَطَآءٍ وَ اعْصِمْنِیْ مِنْ کُلِّ زَلَلٍ وَ تَمِّمْ لِيْ فَوَائِدَکَ وَ قِنِیْ وَعِیْدَکَ وَ اصْرِفْ عَنِّیْ اَلِیْمِ عَذَابِکَ وَ تَدْمِیْرَ تَنْکِیْلِکَ وَ شَرِّفْنِیْ بِحِفْظِ کِتَابِکَ وَ اَصْلِحْنِیْ وَ اَصْلِحْ دِیْنِیْ وَ دُنْیَایَ وَ اٰخِرَتِیْ وَ اَہْلِیْ وَ وُلْدِیْ وَ وَسِّعْ رِزْقِیْ وَ اَدِرَّہٗ عَلَیَّ وَ اَقْبِلْ عَلَیَّ وَ لَا تُعْرِضْ عَنِّیْ.
اَللّٰہُمَّ ارْفَعْنِیْ وَ لَا تَضَعْنِیْ وَ ارْحَمْنِیْ وَ لَا تُعَذِّبْنِیْ وَ انْصُرْنِیْ وَ لَا تَخْذُلْنِیْ وَ آثِرْنِیْ وَ لَا تُؤْثِرْ عَلَیَّ وَ اجْعَلْ لِیْ مِنْ اَمْرِیْ یُسْرًا وَ فَرَجًا وَ عَجِّلْ اِجَابَتِیْ وَاسْتَنْقِذْنِیْ مِمَّا قَدْ نَزَلَ بِیْ اِنَّکَ عَلٰی کُلِّ شَیْءٍ قَدِیْرٌ وَ ذٰلِکَ عَلَیْکَ یَسِیْرٌ وَ اَنْتَ الْجَوَادُ الْکَرِیْمُ.

Allaahumma Antal Maleko Laa Elaaha Illaa Anta Fa-Anaa A’Bdoka Zalamto Nafsee Wa’ Tarafto Be-Zanbee Fagh-Fir Leyaz Zonooba Laa Elaaha Illaa Anta Yaa Ghafooro.
Allaahumma Innee Ahmadoka Wa Anta.
Lil-Hamde Ahlun A’Laa Maa Khasastanee Behi Min Mawaa-Hebir Ra-Ghaaa-Ebe Wa Wasala Elayya Min Fazaaa-Elis Sanaaa-Ee’ Wa A’Laa Maa Awlaytanee Behi Wa Tawallaytanee Behi Min Rizwaaneka Wa Analtanee Min Mannekal Waasele Elayya Wa Menad Defaa-E’ A’Nnee Wat Tawfeeqe Lee Walejaabate Le-Do-A’Aaee Hattaa Onaajeyaka Raagheban Wa Ado’Oka Mosaafeyan Wa Hattaa Arjowaka Faajedaka Fil Mawaatene Kullehaa Lee Jaaberan Wa Fee Omooree Naazeran Wa Le-Zonoobee Ghaaferan Wa Lea’Wratee Saateran.

Innaka A’Laa Kulle Shay-In Qadeerun Wa Zaaleka A’Layka Yaseerun Wa Antal Jawaadul Kareemo.

In the name of Allah the Beneficent the Merciful.
O Allah! You are the master of the Universe.
There is no God except You.
And I am your believer.
I have oppressed myself.
I confess my sins.
So forgive my sins He is alone and has no partner and you are the Pardoner.
O Allah I praise you and you are the suitable for this praise you granted me whatever I with for and sent me your best favours andm ade me happy due to these favours and gave me your favourable opinion.
I received all these rewards.
You removed my troubles.
Give me the good guidance and accepted my supplications.
As far as I pray to you with keenness and calls you with sincerity of intention and I extremely keep hopes from you and I find you present every where.
You are never too late to improve my dealings and takes care of my condition and keeps secret of my faults.
Your good behaviour is never separated for a moment from me.
When you control over this destination that I can think of this, you showed your favour because I was your liberated slave.
O my Lord! All troubles and all confusions and sorrows and sufferings attacked severely from every where for your decisions and kept me occupied in hard troubles.
I do not remember you have done anything accept your good behaviour and I have not seen anything accept your mercy.
Your good virtues and your grace continuously accompanied with me.
You bounties was accompanying continuously.
Fear did not frighten me due to your great favour.
You fulfilled my desires and accompanied me in my travel and increase my honour in my stability, recovery from illness and make my destination and relapse pleasant and did not allow my enemies to laugh at me.
Those who attact on me, you attack on them and prevent me from enemy's enimity.
O my Lord! There were some hidden enemies who tried hard to kill me.
They showed their enemity openly and aimed at me to kill me and tried to misled me.
O My Lord! You saw that I am unable to bear all these and I can't stand face to face to oppose their challenge and I am all alone and they waiting for a chance and I am unable to succeed.
Then O my Lord, you sent your divine help and gave me support and made them weak and inspite of biggest gang made them alone and gave me strength to achieve eminence and returned them back with sorrow and they could not satisfy their desires and could not suppress their anger and demand with constant taunting to hide their weakness.
When he returned back turing his face, his party broke their promise and their desires became lifeless.
O Allah! Many rebellions tried to be superior by their crafty tricks and tried to catch me and came to me silently just as wild beasts come to their prey and the pray waiting for a chance to escape from it.
He was showing his flattering smile on the face.
O My Lord! When you find his fraudness in his mind, gave his mortal wound on his brain and push him in the pit which he dug by himself.
You turned him back and made him wounded by stones and swords of his own and strangle his throat of his own strings and choked his throat of his our fraudness and made him regret of his own.
So he became disappointed and weak.
Though he was restive in the beginning and now he became despicable and helpless.
He was very strong in the beginning and he has become disgraced and a prisoner.
He wanted to see me tied in the strings and if I would be catch and if you would not send your blessing, the same calamity would fall on me instead of him.
Now all praise to Him who ahs power over all things and cannot be entangled in it, and the reality of his guardianship is considerate.
He is the Self-Existing and never in attentive.
He is the for bearing and not debased O my Lord! I call you and seek protection from you and rely on your quick acceptance, and I know it very well that you dispel my enemies and I know whoever comes under your protection, never becomes sand nor the hard troubles shaken him.
Those who takes help from you, you give him relief.
O my Lord! Make me free by means of your divine power and make me free from enemy's enemities.
O Allah! There were so many evils in my way but you cleared them.
There were so many bounties, that you granted and flow the streams by your divine power and there were so many clalamities on my way, you destroyed it.
You spread your bounties and destroyed the darkness of sorrows.
You dispersed the clouds of calamities and put on the robes of honour.
And established the future incidents when You will ask for anything, nothing can make you tired.
Whenever I think of You, no one can prevent me.
O Allah! Mnay jealous persons wanted to be superior and made me unhappy by facile tongue and looked at me with cursory glance and made me dishonoured and made me habitual as he was before.
But you helped me in this matter.
O Allah, I had many good faiths and you proved it and removed my poverty and ignorance and increased my livelihood.
You removed my weakness and gave me strength and solved difficulties.
Also changed my poverty and bestowed bounties.
We can't ask what You are doing and there is no stinginess whatever You grant.
You granted me whatever I asked and if I didn't ask, You preceded first and whenever I requested, You never disappointed me.
You refused to do anything except rewards, obligation and blessings and my situation is that I disobeyed Your commands and didn't do anything.
I exceeded Your limits and I became negligent about Your wrath and devoted Your enemy (Shaitan) even then You abstain from execute Your rewards and did not prevent (unlucky) me from Your anger.
O My Lord! This is the stage where Your confessional accuse is failed to confess to pay Your dues and gives evidence that Your bounties and guardianship is completed.
O My Lord! O Cherisher! Grant me that, that I can reach by means of Your bounty and guidance for Your willings and can be safe from Your wrath, because You can do whatever You like and can order whatever you like.
You have power over all things.
O my Lord! My praise is for You and will remain forever till centenaries with various purities by way of glorifications.
For only Your remembrance and Your permission I shall praise You and I shall mention Your Greatness in a friendly manner.
I shall mention Your qualities for a long time to falsify the idolatory.
As no one is Your helper and no one is Your partner in Your sovereignty.
None could see You when You bound down the things for different intention, You have created the whole universe of different type so that the human being can't tear the curtains of the invisible world.
I believe in You but I am beseized in Your grandour.
There is no particular of Your eternal existence and no possibilities of Your personal appearance and no high similarity of status can reach to You and no deep mental thoughts can reach to You and no observer's eyes can see Your omnipotence.
Your divine attribute is highest than human's attributes.
Your honour and grandeur is eminent than human's attributes.
If You want to increase, it can't decrease and if you want to decrease, it can't excess.
There was no one when You created the world.
There was no risk of any opposition then You sent the spirits in the world.
According to the law of attributes the dumb and senses are tired in Your actual mystic knowledge.
How can attributes come at Your court or how can poisonous nature enclose You? Because You are the Powerful and Pure and Eternal and the invisible hand of Heaven forever.
You are Unique.
No one is there and no one will be there except You.
The deepest ways and entangled in worries in Your domination and eyes of prudence are tired to understand You and the kings are bend down and are helpless and hang their faces down in shame and beseech before Your dignity and bowed down their heads in shame.
Every things are obedient in comparison of Your nature and the necks of all people are bend before your sovereignity and on the basis of your colourful attributes, mentally efforts are mislead.
That is why who ever think for your praise his eyes turn back and his sense confused and amazed.
O Allah! Your Praise is coherent, continuously and strong forever and never perish.
The praise in your limited world would not become less to intimate the knowledge of God.
Your praise in beautiful nights and bright dawn, in dryness and wetness, in the morning, noon and night daily repeating.
O Allah! You made me free from your Guidance and took me in your protection and did not force me more than my strength because you are pleased by my obedience.
If I give you thanks orally or by making an attempt, but I cant accomplish your magnicent rights with thanks nor changes in your mercy because there is no other god except You.
Nothing is concealed in your sight.
Nothing is secret for you.
You can't lose the absorbed properly in the darkness of concealment.
Of course, when you want to do anything, it flourished before saying let there be and before intend.
O Allah! Your praise, by which you have praise by yourself and praiseworthy people, praise you and the great people praise your grandeur, respected people mentioned your greatness.
Hence I am all alone in a twinkling of an eye or less than this time I praise you than others and all who keep sincerity of intention and who love to have an intimate knowledge of you and all created people and animals, I praise you is less.
O Allah! You have given strength in my tongue to praise for you , I thank for it.
Because whatever you have given me trouble for this matter is very less and after expressing this, what you have promised me, is very great.
You granted me your favour from the very beginning was your graciousness.
Then you command to think for your graciousness was your justification and promised to give great rewards.
You granted me my livelihood so that you can take trial of me and greanted me more instead of less and on ordinary debt and kept me in your safety and did not entrust me in your hard trial.
You bestowed me good livelihood and health and granted me more grace and promised to grant high stage along with convey good news of great grade of safety & chosen me for intercession of our Great and best of all Prophets Hazrat Mohammad Mustafa (s.a.w.a.) our Holy Prophet (as the friend of God, Intercessor in hereafter, Companion of sinners and the venerable person (s.a.w.a.).
O My Lord! Forgive my sins.
There is no other place for forgiveness No one can obliterate without your forgiveness.
Give me surely in this moment so that all the worldly troubles easy for me.
Make one a righteous person for your inclination and forgive me.
Grant me miracles and give me the guidance to thank for your bounties.
As you are my Lord, the High and Unique and the knower.
No one can disobey your command and no one can prevent you from your judgement.
I have faith, you are my Lord and the Provider.
You are the Master of the earth and the Heaven, invisible and the knower and the Great.
O Allah! Show me the right way.
I pray and thanks for bounties and invoke blessings.
I seek protection from enemies tyranny, from traitors rebellion, and from jealous person's jealousy.
O Allah! I attack on my enemy with your help and seek friendship of friends from you and along with this I am hopeful for inefficient benefits of your blessings and various kinds of provisions and bounties, because you are Allah and there is no other Allah.
Your praise is everywhere and your hands are open for generosity.
There are no one to challenge your commands.
There are no one to dispute in your world.
No one can appeal to anyone against your commands.
You can get hold anyone.
No one can become on owner without your willing.
You are the master of blessings and rewards, Unique and the Able.
Your purities are mentioned in your pure light.
Your respected with a robe of honour.
You are the Great due to your nature and grandeur.
You have obtained mastery over the splendid light.
You are busy to increase your adornment of your majesty.
O Allah! Your magnificent praise, former obligations, great kingship, generosity and possession of nature are all elegant for you and continuously praise that never come to end and from border to ever last never ended.
Because you have created me from the progeny of Adam (a.s.) and made me healthy and spotless that I can see and hear properly and protect me from physical deformity and mental weakness.
There is no trouble on my assimilation and no defect in my intellect.
Your obligations, and good favours and bounties never prevent to do favour.
On the contrary, increased my livelihood and made me superior on the worldly people and gave me the sense of hearing so that I can hear your reinforcement properly and gave me good sight that I can see your natural phenomena.
You became my helper and bestowing a heart that can observe your greatness, you gave me your protection.
The tongue confesses your oneness.
Undoubtedly I am very thankful for your graciousness.
I am a confessor of your rights and I am a plaintiff in your court for my troubles and obstacles, because your Eternal and everlasting.
You are an inherent of the inhabitants of the earth and you and only one and best than other inhabitants.
O Allah! Do not restrain your favours and do not send your wrath as a punishment.
Do not make any changes whatever I have and do not make me disappoint from your strong chastity.
If I do not remember your favours and rewards but then only you remember your forgiveness and it is very important for me.
You accepted my prayer when I raised my head for your praise.
(To raise the head was for your praise only) and not for mentioning of my major quantity of shares.
If you increased in it, there is no scarcity for you ad if you decrease my livelihood in distribution, then it would be excess in your property O Allah! Your expanse knowledge, is equal to your praise & according to quantity of your expanse blessings is more than current existing things.
The continuous repetition of Your praise is of equal weight of Your beautiful names and bounties.
O My Lord! Complete Your favours in my remaining life as You obliged in my present life because I want to be reach by means of Your unity and pronouncing Islamic Creed, and congregational prayers and by means of Your beautiful names I say, You have created human beings by Your greatness and superiority.
Now that human can't go anywhere leaving Your supremacy.
O Allah! I pray by means of Your secret names, do not deprived me from Your favours and benefits of Your miracles, and do not entrust me to anyone except You.
Do not entrust me in the hand of my enemy.
Do not put me in the guardianship of my soul and do your favour from Your great favours.
Make my good deeds beautiful in the world, fulfil my desires here and make my last return in hereafter beautiful because You are not dependent on Your gifts and pulling hand does not increase Your wealth of great blessings.
Your great rewards do not decrease Your endowment and Your great favours do not effect on Your current rewards.
You have no fear of the shame of poverty, that You pull Your hand from giving, and You have no danger of poverty so that benefit of Your kingdom scarce.
O my Lord! Make my heart full of true faith on You and do not make me fearless from Your wrath and do not make me oblivious from Your remembrance and do not give up keeping a secret, do not make anyone superior on me except you, do not disappoint me from Your grace but hide me in Your efficiency, and do not disappoint me from Your beautiful rewards.
Be my helper in my confusion and be supporter in my embarrassment.
Be my redress and release me from all difficulties and errors and save me from all troubles and settled Your bounties and save me from my wrath and turn out all the difficulties, destructions and wrath from me, grant me honour to secure the Holy Quran and improve my condition and help me in the world and in hereafter, improve the condition of my children, increase my livelihood in plenty, pay attention on me and do not be inattentive.
O Allah! Make me to achieve eminence, do not despise me.
Have pity on me, do not curse me and help me, do not make me alone.
Make me successful and do not make any one success on me.
Remove my difficulties and give me spaciousness.
Accept my prayer soon and remove my difficulties.
You have power over all things.
Every thing is easy for You as You are the Generous and the Sovereign.




THE STORY OF PRESERVATION OF AL-YAMANI
It has been narrated in the book ‘Darus Salaam’ that: I found the Manuscript of Allama Majlisi, the First, behind a supplication famously known as the Yamani Amulet, in the following way:
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful. All Praises are due to Allah, Who is the Lord of the worlds. And Peace be upon the noblest of all the Prophets, Mohammad (peace be upon him) and his holy Progeny.
The honourable Sayyid Ameer Mohammad Hashim – May Allah support him and bless him with continuous success – asked me to give him the permission of the Yamani Amulet which is associated with the Commander of the Faithful, the Imam of the Pious, and the best creation after the Chief of Prophets (peace be upon them).
Therefore, I am giving him the permission of narrating this supplication; with my authority chain wherein I have narrated from Ameer Ishaque Astarabadi (who is buried in Karbala near the grave of the Master of all the dwellers of heaven), who narrated from Imam Mahdi (A.S.).
Respected Sayyid said: I was on my way to Mecca when I was left behind my caravan, until I lost all hope of living and began to utter the ‘Shahadatayn’ like a person who is nearing his death. Suddenly, I witnessed that our Master, Imam Mahdi (A.S.), was standing near me.
His holiness said: O’ Ishaque! Rise. I stood up while I was thirsty, he quenched my thirst and made me sit behind him on his ride. Then I began to recite this Amulet and his holiness corrected my mistakes until the supplication reached its end. At that point, I found myself in ‘Abtah’. We descended the ride and his holiness couldn’t be seen anymore, and my caravan reached that place after nine days.
It became famous between the people of Mecca that I have reached there by ‘Tayy ul Ard’ (traveling miraculously in the shortest of time). Therefore, after performing the rituals of pilgrimage, I went into hiding.
Late Majlisi the first says: He (Ameer Ishaque Astarabadi) had gone forty times for pilgrimage on his feet. When I met him in Isfahan, he had arrived from Karbala with the intention of visiting Imam Reza (A.S.) in Mashhad. He owed 7 Toman to his wife as her ‘Mehr’, and was liable to pay this same amount to one of the residents of Mashhad.
On the other hand, he had witnessed in his dream that he is nearing his death. Sayyid said: I resided in Karbala for fifty years hoping to die there, and now I fear that I will die on some land other than Karbala.
When a friend of mine became aware of this incident, he gave 7 Toman to Sayyid and sent one of the religious brothers along with him.
That man says: When Sayyid reached Karbala and paid off his debts (to his wife), he fell sick and passed away on the ninth day of his illness, and buried in his own house. Many such miracles were witnessed of him even when he lived in Isfahan.
I have several permissions for this holy narration but will suffice with this permission itself. I request him (Ameer Mohammad Hashim) to remember me on the places where the possibility of the supplications being accepted is higher. And I want him to recite this supplication only for the Pleasure of Allah, and never for the destruction of his enemy if his enemy is from the believers, even if he is a sinner or tyrant. And he should not recite this prayer for collecting the pleasure of this lowly world, but it should be recited only to attain nearness to Allah and to repel the evils of all the devils, both human and Jinn, from himself and from all the believers. He should have such an intention if it may be possible for him, and if not, it is better to stay away from any intention except for the nearness of Allah.
These points are written by someone who needs the divine mercy the most, i.e. Mohammad Taqi Majlisi son of Majlisi Isfahani, while I exalt the Almighty and ask Him to bless the Chief of the Prophets (peace be upon him). This is the end of his word. May Allah elevate his grade in heaven eternally!
His son, Late Majlisi (R.A.), has mentioned this incident regarding the visitation of Imam Mahdi (A.S.) by Ameer Ishaque in the thirteenth volume of his book ‘Bihar ul Anwaar’, but it is quite different from the incident we mentioned here.[1]
Allama Majlisi (R.A.) says: the Yamani Amulet, which is also known as the supplication of Saifi, is one amongst the well-known supplications. It has been mentioned in several ways and by different narrations but we will mention the best narration here (by Allah’s will):
Abu Abdullah, Hussain bin Ibrahim bin Ali Fatti, better known as Ibn e Khayyat, reports for us saying: Abu Mohammad Haroon bin Moosa Tal’akbari told me:
Abul Qasim Abdul Wahid (Abdullah) bin Yunus Musili narrated for me in Halab that Ali bin Mohammad bin Ahmad, better known as Mustanjid, reported to me that: Abul Hasan Katib narrated for me that Abdur Rahman bin Ali bin Ziyad said: Abdullah bin Abbas and Abdullah bin Ja’far said:
One day, while we were in the company of our Master, Imam Ali (A.S.), Hasan bin Ali (A.S.) arrived and said:
O’ Commander of the Faithful! A man has arrived and he seeks permission to visit you. He has the smell of Musk.
His holiness said: Ask him to come.
A good looking man with a nice built and deep face, formal accent and royal clothes, appeared and said:
Peace be upon You O’ Ameer ul Momineen! I have come from one of the farthest places of Yemen and I belong to one of the senior Arabs from your devotees. I had a great kingdom and possessed enormous bounties of life, was living a peaceful and happy life with growing wealth. I had gained sufficient experiences in life and it has examined me thoroughly. I had a ferocious enemy who attacked me with his huge army and the great powers he had gathered, and achieved victory over me. The ways of deceits and escape from him left me helpless and wandering.
One night, I had slept off when a person called me: O’ man! Rise and go towards the best creation of Allah after His Messenger (P.B.U.H.), i.e. Ali bin Abi Talib (A.S.), and request him to teach you the supplication which was taught to him by Allah’s special friend, Mohammad (P.B.U.H.); because that supplication is the exclusive Name of Allah. Call Allah by reciting that supplication and curse your enemy who defeated you in the fight.
O’ Commander of the Faithful! I woke up quickly and came to you with a group of four hundred men. And I hold Allah, His Messenger and You, as witnesses that I have released all of them and I am here to performed this act only for the sake of Allah. Now, I have come to you with a thin and aggrieved body from an uneven path and a far way land. Have mercy over me and with your grace and dignity, and also for the sake of your fatherhood and relationship with me, teach me the supplication regarding which I was informed in my sleep and was commanded to seek it from your holy threshold.
Our Master, the Commander of the Faithful, said:
Sure, I will do this for you, if Allah wills.
Then he asked for a paper and pen, and wrote the supplication for that man:
Ibn e Abbas (R.A.) narrates the continuation of Imam’s word in the following manner:
“Make sure you memorize it, and the entire supplication should be recited in one day. Verily, I am hopeful that while you will reach your land, Allah will have destroyed your enemy completely.
Indeed, I heard from the Messenger of Allah that he said: If a man recites this supplication with a rightful intention and humble heart, then command the mountains to walk along with him, they will surely walk behind him, and if he commands the seas, he will be able to walk over them”.
That man went back towards his land, and after forty days, his letter reached Imam Ali (A.S.) in which he said: the truth is that Allah has destroyed my enemy, such that not even a single man from their land has remained.
Imam Ali (A.S.) said:
“I already knew about it. And this truth was taught to me by the Holy Prophet (P.B.U.H.); there is no difficult affair that does not become easy for me with the help of this supplication”.[5]
