Rabiul Awal Month begin Dua

New Month Salat
The first night marks the outset of the hijrah, the beginning of the Islamic calendar. On this night the apostle of Allah began his migration by leaving Makah for Medina.During that night the prophet pursued by the infidels hid in the cave of soawr while Ali (as)risking his life in order to save that of the prophet(saws) slept in the prophets bed indifferent to the swords of the tribes of the infidels.By this act he manifested his merit and self-sacrificing devotion to his cousin the apostle of Allah and verse 22:07 was revealed
"And among the people is he who sells his soul seeking the pleasure of a Allah(swt) and the Allah(swt) is most kind to his servants "
Some scholars say that it is recommended to observe fasting on this day to express gratitude to Almighty Allah for His marvelous favor of having saved the Holy Prophet and Imam `Ali—peace be upon them and their Household.
Iqbal Aamal -The following supplications are found in Al-Mukhtasar min al-Muntakhab for the beginning of the month of Rabi ul-Awwal

28th Safar to 8th RabiulAwwal - The intense grief phase.
Our period of Mourning is from 1st Muharram to 8th RabiulAwwal. The first 10 days are the intense grief ones which we observe.
But even the last phase - 28th Safar to 8th RabiulAwwal - of this period is the most intense grief phase on the AhleBait (as) which unfortunately many of us do not observe with the intensity required.
A. The foundations of oppression against AhleBait Alayhemussalam were laid with the martyrdom of RasoolAllah sallallaho Alayhe Wa Aalehi on 28th Safar.
B. Then immediately Saqifa was organised.
C. Then the house of Revelation (Wahi) was attacked. Syeda Zahra (sa) was beaten and Ali (as) tied & pulled away.
D. Mohsin (as) the unborn child was martyred.
E. Fadak, The property ofSyeda Zahra(sa) was snatched away.
We need to observe these days with the same intensity of grief like the first phase. In these days the foundations were laid for the tragedy of Karbala...
