سُبْحانَكَ لا إلَهَ إلاّ أنتَ

sub¦¡naka l¡ il¡ha ill¡ anta

Glory be to You. There is no god save You.

يا رَبَّ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ وَوارِثَهُ

y¡ rabba kulli shay‘in waw¡ri§hahu

O the Lord and the Inheritor of all things.

يا إلَهَ الآلِهَةِ الرَّفيعُ جَلالُهُ،

y¡ il¡ha al-¡lihati alrraf¢`u jal¡luhu,

O the God of gods; whose majesty is elevated.

يا اَللهُ المَحْمودُ في كُلِّ فِعالِهِ،

y¡ all¡hu alma¦m£du fy kulli fi`¡lihi,

O Allah, the Praised for all of His acts.

يا رَحْمنَ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ وَراحِمَهُ،

y¡ ra¦m¡na kulli shay‘in war¡¦imahu,

O the All-beneficent and the All-merciful of all things.

يا حَيُّ حينَ لا حَيُّ في دَيْمومَةِ مُلكِهِ وَبَقائِهِ،

y¡ ¦ayyu ¦¢na l¡ ¦ayyu fy daym£mati mulkihi wabaq¡’ihi,

O the Ever-living, when there was nothing existent, in the perpetuity of His kingdom and eternity.

يا قَيُّومُ فَلا يَفوتُ شَيْءٌ مِنْ عِلْمِهِ  وَلا يَؤودُهُ،

y¡ qayy£mu fal¡ yaf£tu shay‘un min `ilmihi  wal¡ yau´£duhu,

O the Self-Subsisting; nothing can be missed by Your knowledge and nothing can ever tire Him.

يا واحِدُ البَاقِي أوَّلَ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ وَآخِرَهُ.

y¡ w¡¦idu albaqiy awwala kulli shay‘in wakhirahu.

O the One, the Everlasting, the First and the Last of all things.

يا دائِمُ بِغَيْرِ فَناءٍ وَلا زَوالَ لِمُلْكِهِ،

y¡ d¡’imu bighayri fan¡‘in wal¡ zaw¡la limulkihi,

O the Perpetual without extinction, and His kingdom is never exposed to extermination.

يا صَمَدُ في غَيْرِ شَبيهٍ وَلا شَيْءَ كَمِثْلِهِ،

y¡ ¥amadu fy ghayri shab¢hin wal¡ shay‘a kami§hlihi,

O the Besought of all; without being any match to Him and there is nothing like Him.

يا بارُّ فَلا شَيْءَ كُفْوُهُ وَلا مُدانِيَ لِوَصْفِهِ،

y¡ b¡rru fal¡ shay‘a kuf’uhu wal¡ mud¡niya liwa¥fihi,

O the Upright; nothing can be His equal and nothing can even approach Him in attributes.

يا كَبيرُ أنْتَ الَّذي لا تَهْتَدي القُلوبُ لِعَظَمَتِهِ،

y¡ kab¢ru anta alladhy l¡ tahtady alqul£bu li`a¨amatihi,

O the All-big; it is You Whose greatness cannot be hit by hearts.

يا بارِئُ  الْمُنْشَيْءَ بِلا مِثالٍ خَلا مِنْ غَيْرِهِ،

y¡ b¡ri’u  almunshi‘u bil¡ mi§h¡lin khal¡ min ghayrihi,

O the Originator, the Maker, without having any equivalent.

يا زاكي الطّاهِرُ مِنْ كُلِّ آفَةٍ بِقُدْسِهِ،

y¡ z¡ky al§§¡hiru min kulli ¡fatin biqudsihi,

O the Pure, the Safe from any defect due to His Holiness.

يا كافي الْمُوسِعُ لِما خَلَقَ مِنْ عَطايا فَضْلِهِ.

y¡ k¡fy almuwsi`u lim¡ khalaqa min `a§¡y¡ fa¤lihi.

O the Self-Sufficient, the Bestower upon His creatures with the gifts of His favors.

يا نَقِيُّ مِنْ كُلِّ جَوْرٍ لَمْ يَرْضَهُ وَلَمْ يُخالِطْهُ فِعالَهُ،

y¡ naqiyyu min kulli jawrin lam yar¤ahu walam yukh¡li§hu fi`¡lahu,

O the Pufiried against any injustice that He does not accept and that is not found in His deeds.

يا حَنّانُ أنْتَ الَّذي  وَسِعَتْ كُلَّ شَيْءٍ رَحْمَتُهُ،

y¡ ¦ann¡nu anta alladhy  wasi`at kulla shay‘in ra¦matuhu,

O the All-tender; it is You Whose mercy covers all things.

يا مَنّانُ ذا الإحْسانِ قَدْ عَمَّ الخَلائِقَ مِنْهُ،

y¡ mann¡nu dh¡ ali¦s¡ni qad `amma alkhal¡’iqa minhu,

O the All-favorer, the Lord of benevolence that He spreads over all the created beings.

يا دَيّانَ العِبادِ فَكُلٌّ يَقومُ خاضِعاً لِرَهْبَتِهِ.

y¡ dayy¡na al`ib¡di fakullun yaq£mu kh¡¤i`an lirahbatihi.

O the Master of the servants; everything stands in submission to the fear of Him.

يا خالِقَ مَنْ في السَّمواتِ وَالأرَضينَ فَكُلٌّ إلَيْهِ مَعادُهُ،

y¡ kh¡liqa man fy alssam¡w¡ti walara¤¢na fakullun ilayhi ma`¡duhu,

O the Creator of all those in the heavens and the layers of the earth; everything shall be returned to Him.

يا رَحْمانُ وَراحِمَ كُلِّ صَريخٍ وَمَكْروبٍ وَغِياثَهُ وَمَعاذَهُ،

y¡ ra¦m¡nu war¡¦ima kulli ¥ar¢khin wamakr£bin waghiy¡§hahu wama`¡dhahu,

O the All-beneficent and the All-merciful to and the Aide and the Shelter of all seekers of aid and all aggrieved ones.

يا بارُّ فَلا تَصِفُ الألْسُنُ كُنْهَ جَلالِ مُلْكِهِ وَعِزِّهِ،

y¡ b¡rru fal¡ ta¥ifu alalsunu kunha jal¡li mulkihi wa`izzihi,

O the Upright; no language can ever describe the reality of the majesty of His kingdom and might.

وَيا مُبْدِئَ البَرايا لَمْ يَبْغِ في إنْشائِها أعْواناً مِنْ خَلقِهِ،

way¡ mubd’ia albar¡y¡ lam yabghi fy insh¡’ih¡ a`w¡nan min khalqihi,

O the Originator of all the creation; in Your creation, You did not need assistants from among Your creatures.

يا عَلاَّمَ الغُيوبِ فلا يَؤوُدُهُ مِنْ شَيْءٍ حِفْظُهُ.

y¡ `all¡ma alghuy£bi fl¡ yau´uduhu min shay‘in ¦if¨uhu.

O the Knower of all the unseen; the preservation of all things does not tire You.

يا مُعيداً ما أفْناهُ إذا بَرَزَ الخَلائِقُ لِدَعْوَتِهِ مِنْ مَخافَتِهِ،

y¡ mu`¢dan m¡ afn¡hu idh¡ baraza alkhal¡’iqu lida`£atihi min makh¡fatihi,

O He Who shall restore to life all that which He terminates when the creatures will be resurrected on account of His call out of fear of Him.

يا حَليمُ ذا الأناةِ فَلا شَيْءَ يَعْدِلُهُ مِنْ خَلْقِهِ،

y¡ ¦al¢mu dh¡ alan¡ati fal¡ shay‘a ya`diluhu min khalqihi,

O the Forbearing, the Lord of leniency; nothing of Your creatures can ever match You.

يا مَحْمودَ الفِعالِ ذا الْمَنِّ عَلى جَميعِ خَلْقِهِ بِلُطْفِهِ،

y¡ ma¦m£da alfi`¡li dh¡ almanni `al¡ jam¢`i khalqihi bilu§fihi,

O He Whose deeds are praiseworthy, the Lord of favoring on all Your creatures out of Your kindness.

يا عَزيزُ الْمَنِيعُ الْغالِبُ عَلى أمْرِهِ فَلا شَيْءَ يَعْدِلُهُ،

y¡ `az¢zu alman¢`u algh¡libu `al¡ amrihi fal¡ shay‘a ya`diluhu,

O the Almighty, the Invulnerable, the Dominant over all affairs; nothing can ever be equivalent to You.

يا قاهِرُ ذا الْبَطْشِ الشَّديدِ أنْتَ الَّذي لا يُطاقُ انْتِقامُهُ.

y¡ q¡hiru dh¡ alba§shi alshshad¢di anta alladhy l¡ yu§¡qu antiq¡muhu.

O the Overcomer, the owner of strong grip; it is You Whose punishment is intolerable.

يا مُتَعالي القَريبُ في عُلُوِّ ارْتِفاعِ دُنُوِّهِ،

y¡ muta`¡ly alqar¢bu fy `uluwwi artif¡`i dunuwwihi,

O the All-exalted, the Nigh in the elevation of Your nearness;

يا جَبّارُ الْمُذَلِّلَ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ بِقَهْرِ عَزيزِ سُلْطانِهِ،

y¡ jabb¡ru almudhallila kulli shay‘in biqahri `az¢zi sul§¡nihi,

O the All-powerful, the humiliating all things by the prevalence of His almighty authority;

يا نورَ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ أنْتَ الَّذي فَلَقَ الظُّلُماتِ نورُهُ،

y¡ n£ra kulli shay‘in anta alladhy falaqa al¨¨ulum¡ti n£ruhu,

O the Light of all things; it is You Whose light split the darkness.

يا قُدّوسُ الطّاهِرُ مِنْ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ وَلا شَيْءَ يَعْدِلُهُ،

y¡ qudd£su al§§¡hiru min kulli shay‘in wal¡ shay‘a ya`diluhu,

O the Holy, the Wholesome against all things and nothing can ever be His counterpart.

يا قَريبُ الْمُجيبُ الْمُتَداني دونَ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قُرْبَهُ،

y¡ qar¢bu almuj¢bu almutad¡ny d£na kulli shay‘in qurbahu,

O the Nigh; the Responding; and the Approaching very close that He has becomes the nearest of all things.

يا عالي الشّامِخُ في السَّماءِ فَوقَ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ عُلُوُّ ارْتِفاعِهِ،

y¡ `¡ly alshsh¡mikhu fy alssam¡‘i fawqa kulli shay‘in `uluwwu artif¡`ihi,

O the Elevated; the Exalted in the heavens; whose highness has overtopped all things.

يا بَديعَ البَدائِعِ وَمُعيدَها بَعْدَ فَنائِها بِقُدْرَتِهِ.

y¡ bad¢`a albad¡’i`i wamu`¢dah¡ ba`da fan¡’ih¡ biqudratihi.

O the Wonderful Maker of all wonderful things; and the Restorer of them by His power after they vanish;

يا جَليلُ الْمُتَكَبِّرُ عَلى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ،

y¡ jal¢lu almutakabbiru `al¡ kulli shay‘in,

O the Lofty; the All-great over all things.

فَالْعَدْلُ أمْرُهُ وَالصِّدْقُ وَعْدُهُ،

fal`adlu amruhu wal¥¥idqu wa`duhu,

Just are Your affairs, and truthful are Your promises.

يا مَجيدُ فَلا يَبْلُغُ الأوْهامُ كُلَّ ثَنائِهِ وَمَجْدِهِ،

y¡ maj¢du fal¡ yablughu al-awh¡mu kulla §han¡’ihi wamajdihi,

O the Glorious; even delusions cannot attain all Your praise and glory.

يا كَريمَ الْعَفْوِ وَالْعَدْلِ،

y¡ kar¢ma al`af£i wal`adli,

O the Noble in pardon and justice;

أنْتَ الَّذي مَلأَ كُلَّ شَيْءٍ عَدْلُهُ،

anta alladhy mala’a kulla shay‘in `adluhu,

It is You Whose justice has filled in everywhere.

يا عَظِيمُ ذا الثَّناءِ الفاخِرِ وَالْعِزِّ وَالْكِبْرِياءِ فَلا يُذَلُّ عِزُّهُ،

y¡ `a¨¢mu dh¡ al§h§han¡‘i alf¡khiri wal`izzi walkibriy¡‘i fal¡ yudhallu `izzuhu,

O the Great; the Lord of excellent praise, might, and magnitude; hence, Your might is never humbled.

يا عَجِيبُ لا تَنْطِقُ الألْسُنُ بِكُلِّ آلائِهِ وَثَنائِهِ.

y¡ `aj¢bu l¡ tan§iqu alalsunu bikulli ¡l¡’ihi wa§han¡’ihi.

O the All-excellent; languages cannot express all Your bounties and praise.

أسْألُكَ يا مُعْتَمَدي عِنْدَ كُلِّ كُرْبَةٍ،

asaluka y¡ mu`tamady `inda kulli kurbatin,

I beseech You; O my Reliance at all griefs;

وَغِياثي عِنْدَ كُلِّ شِدَّةٍ،

waghiy¡§hy `inda kulli shiddatin,

And my Aide at all hardships,

بِهذِهِ الأسْماءِ أماناً مِنْ عُقوباتِ الدُّنْيا وَالآخِرَةِ،

bihdhihi alasm¡‘i am¡nan min `uq£b¡ti alddun¢¡ wal¡khirati,

(I beseech You) by these names to grant me security against the punishments in this worldly life as well as the Next Life.

وَأسْألُكَ أنْ تَصْرِفَ عَنّي بِهِنَّ كُلَّ سوءٍ وَمَخوفٍ وَمَحْذورٍ،

wasaluka an ta¥rifa `anny bihinna kulla s£‘in wamakh£fin wama¦dh£rin,

And I beseech You to rebuff from me by these Names all things that are evil, feared, and jeopardized,

وَتَصْرِفَ عَنّي أبْصارَ الظَّلَمَةِ الْمُريدينَ بِيَ السّوءَ الَّذي نَهَيْتَ عَنْهُ

wata¥rifa `anny ab¥¡ra al¨¨alamati almur¢d¢na biya alss£‘a alladhy nahayta `anhu

And to rebuff from me the sights of the wrongdoers who intend evil to me—evil against which You have warned;

وَأنْ تَصْرِفَ قُلوبَهُمْ مِنْ شَرِّ ما يُضْمِرونَ إلى خَيْرِ ما لا يَمْلِكونَ،

wan ta¥rifa qul£bahum min sharri m¡ yu¤mir£na il¡ khayri m¡ l¡ yamlik£na,

And to rebuff from me their hearts and change the evil that they conceal in themselves into the good that they do not have,

وَلا يَمْلِكُهُ غَيْرُكَ يا كَريمُ.

wal¡ yamlikuhu ghayruka y¡ kar¢mu.

And none else has it save You, O the All-generous.

اللّهُمَّ لا تَكِلْني إلى نَفْسي فَأعْجَزُ عَنْها،

all¡humma l¡ takilny il¡ nafsy fa`jazu `anh¡,

O Allah: (please) do not refer me to myself, because I will fail to manage it,

وَلا إلى النّاسِ فَيَرْفُضوني،

wal¡ il¡ alnn¡si fayarfu¤£n¢,

Or to the people, because they will reject me.

وَلا تُخَيِّبْني وَأنا أرْجوكَ

wal¡ tukhayyibny wan¡ arj£ka

And do not disappoint me while I am pleasing You,

وَلا تُعَذِّبْني وَأنا أدْعُوكَ،

wal¡ tu`adhdhibny wan¡ ad`uwka,

And do not torture me while I am praying You.

اللّهُمَّ إنّي أدْعُوكَ كَما أمَرْتَني،

all¡humma inny ad`uwka kam¡ amartan¢,

O Allah: I am praying You as You ordered me to do,

فَأجِبْنِي كَما وَعَدْتَني،

fajibniy kam¡ wa`adtan¢,

So, (please) answer me as You promised me to do.

اللّهُمَّ اجْعَلْ خَيْرَ عُمْري ما وَلِيَ أجَلي.

all¡humma ij`al khayra `umry m¡ waliya ajal¢.

O Allah: (please) make the best of my lifetime be that which is near to my death.

اللّهُمَّ لا تُغَيِّرْ جَسِدي،

all¡humma l¡ tughayyir jasid¢,

O Allah: (please) do not change my body,

وَلا تُرْسِلْ حَظّي،

wal¡ tursil ¦a¨¨¢,

And do not stop adding to my shares (from Your favors)

وَلا تَسُؤ صَديقي،

wal¡ tasu´ ¥ad¢q¢,

And do not cause harm to my friend.

أعوذُ بِكَ مِنْ سَقَمٍ مُصْرِعٍ،

a`£dhu bika min saqamin mu¥ri`in,

I seek Your protection against deadly diseases,

وَفَقْرٍ مُقْرِعٍ،

wafaqrin muqri`in,

And against harsh poverty,

وَمِنَ الذُّلِّ وَبِئْسَ الْخِلِّ،

wamina aldhdhulli wab’isa alkhilli,

And against humiliation and bad company.

اللّهُمَّ سَلِّ قَلْبي عَنْ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ لا أتَزَوَّدُهُ إلَيْكَ،

all¡humma salli qalby `an kulli shay‘in l¡ atazawwaduhu ilayka,

O Allah: (please) entertain my heart against all things that cannot act as my provision to You,

وَلا أنْتَفِعُ بِهِ يَوْمَ ألْقاكَ،

wal¡ antafi`u bihi yawma alq¡ka,

And that cannot avail me on the day when I will meet You,

مِنْ حَلالٍ أوْ حَرامٍ،

min ¦al¡lin aw ¦ar¡min,

Be it legal or illegal,

ثُمَّ أعْطِني قُوَّةً عَلَيْهِ وَعِزّاً وَقَناعَةً وَمَقْتاً لَهُ وَرِضاكَ فِيهِ،

§humma a`§iny quwwatan `alayhi wa`izzan waqan¡`atan wamaqtan lahu wari¤¡ka f¢hi,

And then (please) grant me power over it as well as mighty, contentment, revulsion of it, and Your satisfaction with it.

يا أرْحَمَ الرّاحِمينَ.

y¡ ar¦ama alrr¡¦im¢na.

O the most Merciful of all those who show mercy;

اللّهُمَّ لكَ الْحَمْدُ عَلى عَطاياكَ الْجَزيلَةِ،

all¡humma lka al¦amdu `al¡ `a§¡y¡ka aljaz¢lati,

O Allah: all praise be to You for Your abundant gifts.

وَلَكَ الْحَمْدُ عَلى مِنَنِكَ الْمُتَواتِرَةِ

walaka al¦amdu `al¡ minanika almutaw¡tirati

And all praise be to you for Your uninterrupted favors,

الَّتي بِها دافَعْتَ عَنّي مَكارِهَ الأُمورِ،

¡llaty bih¡ d¡fa`ta `anny mak¡riha alaum£ri,

By which You have saved me from adverse matters,

وَبِها آتَيْتَني مَواهِبَ السُّرورِ،

wabih¡ ¡taytany maw¡hiba alssur£ri,

And through which You have bestowed upon me with the donations of pleasure,

مَعَ تَماديِّ في الغَفْلَةِ،

ma`a tam¡diyyi fy alghaflati,

Although I persisted in carelessness,

وَما بَقِيَ فِيَّ مِنَ الْقَسْوَةِ،

wam¡ baqiya fiyya mina alqas£ati,

And I kept some hardheartedness;

فَلَمْ يَمْنَعْكَ ذلِكَ مِنْ فِعْلي أنْ عَفَوْتَ عَنّي،

falam yamna`ka dhlika min fi`ly an `afawta `ann¢,

Nevertheless, all such deeds of mine did not stop You from pardoning me,

وَسَتَرْتَ ذلِكَ عَلَيَّ

wasatarta dhlika `alayya

And covering that,

وَسَوَّغْتَني ما في يَدي مِنْ نِعَمِكَ،

wasawwaghtany m¡ fy yady min ni`amika,

And allowing me to dispose with Your bounties that are at my hand,

وَتابَعْتَ عَلَيَّ مِنْ إحْسانِكَ،

wat¡ba`ta `alayya min i¦s¡nika,

And continuing in doing good to me,

وَصَفَحْتَ لي عَنْ قَبيحِ ما أفْضَيْتَ بِهِ إلَيْكَ،

wa¥afa¦ta ly `an qab¢¦i m¡ af¤ayta bihi ilayka,

And overlooking the ill deeds of which I confessed to You,

وَانْتَهَكْتَهُ مِنْ مَعاصيكَ.

wantahaktahu min ma`¡¥¢ka.

And my violations of doing acts of disobedience to You.

اللّهُمَّ إنّي أسْألُكَ بِكُلِّ اسْمٍ هُوَ لَكَ

all¡humma inny asaluka bikulli asmin huwa laka

O Allah: I beseech You by every Name that is Yours,

يَحِقُّ عَلَيْكَ فيهِ إجابَةَ الدُّعاءِ إذا دُعيتَ بِهِ،

ya¦iqqu `alayka f¢hi ij¡bata alddu`¡‘i idh¡ du`¢ta bihi,

And due to which it becomes incumbent upon You to respond to those who pray You by it,

وَأسْألُكَ بِكُلِّ ذي حَقٍّ عَلَيْكَ،

wasaluka bikulli dhy ¦aqqin `alayka,

And I beseech You in the name of all those who enjoy a right with You

وَبِحَقِّكَ عَلى جَمِيعِ مَنْ هُوَ دُونَكَ،

wabi¦aqqika `al¡ jam¢`i man huwa d£naka,

And in the name of Your duties that are incumbent upon all those who are less than You are,

أنْ تُصَلِّيَ عَلى مُحَمَّدٍ عَبْدِكَ وَرَسُولِكَ وَعَلى آلِهِ،

an tu¥alliya `al¡ mu¦ammadin `abdika warasuwlika wa`al¡ ¡lihi,

(I beseech You) to send blessings upon Mu¦ammad, Your servant and Your Messenger, and upon his Household;

وَمَنْ أرادَني بِسوءٍ فَخُذْ بِسَمْعِهِ وَبَصَرِهِ

waman ar¡dany bis£‘in fakhudh bisam`ihi waba¥arihi

And as for anyone who intends evil to me, (please) have control on his hearing and sight

وَمِنْ بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ وَمِنْ خَلْفِِهِ

wamin bayna yadayhi wamin khalf’ihi

And before him and behind him

وَعَنْ يَمينِهِ وَعَنْ شِمالِهِ

wa`an yam¢nihi wa`an shim¡lihi

And from his right side and from his left side,

وَامْنَعْهُ مِنّي بِحَوْلِكَ وَقُوَّتِكَ.

wamna`hu minny bi¦awlika waquwwatika.

And (please) prevent him from harming me through Your might and Your power.

يا مَنْ لَيْسَ مَعَهُ رَبٌّ يُدْعى،

y¡ man laysa ma`ahu rabbun yud`¡,

O He with Whom there is no other lord to be prayed;

وَيا مَنْ لَيْسَ فَوْقَهُ خالِقٌ يُخْشى،

way¡ man laysa fawqahu kh¡liqun yukhsh¡,

O He above Whom there is no other creator to be feared;

وَيا مَنْ لَيْسَ دونَهُ إلَهٌ يُتَّقى

way¡ man laysa d£nahu ilahun yuttaq¡

O He other than Whom there is no god to be feared;

وَيا مَنْ لَيْسَ لَهُ وَزيرٌ يُؤْتى،

way¡ man laysa lahu waz¢run yuu´t¡,

O He Who has no assistant that may be seen first;

وَيا مَنْ لَيْسَ لَهُ حاجِبٌ يُرْشى،

way¡ man laysa lahu ¦¡jibun yursh¡,

O He Who has no janitor that may be bribed;

وَيا مَنْ لَيْسَ لَهُ بَوّابٌ يُنادى،

way¡ man laysa lahu baww¡bun yun¡d¡,

O He Who has no doorkeeper that may be called;

وَيا مَنْ لا يَزْدادُ عَلى كَثْرَةِ العَطاءِ إلاَّ كَرَماً وَجُوداً،

way¡ man l¡ yazd¡du `al¡ ka§hrati al`a§¡‘i ill¡ karaman wajuwdan,

O He Whose abundant gifting increases him nothing but more generosity and more magnanimity;

وَعَلى تَتابُعِ الذُّنوبِ إلاَّ مَغْفِرَةً وَعَفْواً،

wa`al¡ tat¡bu`i aldhdhun£bi ill¡ maghfiratan wa`af£an,

And the flow of sinning (of His servants) increases him nothing but forgiveness and pardon.

صَلِّ عَلى مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ

¥alli `al¡ mu¦ammadin wali mu¦ammadin

(please) send blessings upon Mu¦ammad and the Household of Mu¦ammad,

وَافْعَلْ بي ما أنْتَ أهْلُهُ،

waf`al by m¡ anta ahluhu,

And do to me that which befits You,

وَلا تَفْعَلْ بي ما أنا أهْلُهُ،

wal¡ taf`al by m¡ an¡ ahluhu,

And do not do to me that which I deserve,

فَإنَّك أهْلُ التَّقْوى وَأهْلُ الْمَغْفِرَةِ.

Fa’innak ahlu alttaqw¡ wa-ahlu almaghfirati.

For You are the worthiest of being feared and the worthiest of forgiving.
