Significance
Naad-e-Ali" was brought by Archangel Jibraeel from the Almighty Allah to the Greatest Holy Prophet (saws) on the event of the Battle of Khaybar. Its recitation has multipurpose effects

نَادِ عَلِيّاً مَظْهَرَ الْعَجَائِبِ،
تَجِدْهُ عَوْناً لَكَ فِي النَّوَائِبِ،
كُلُّ هَمٍّ وَ غَمٍّ سَيَنْجَلِي،
بِعَظْمَتِكَ يَا اَللهُ نُبُوَّتِكَ يَا مُحَمَّدُ
بِوَلايَتِكَ يَا عَلِيُّ يَا عَلِيُّ يَا عَلِيُّ
Nādi ‘Aliyyan maẓhara l-‘ajā’ib,
Tajidhu ‘awnan laka fī n-nawā’ib,
Kullu hammin wa ghammin sayanjalī,
Bi-‘aẓmatika yā Allāhu, bi-nubūwatika yā Muḥammad,
Bi-wilāyatika yā ‘Alī, yā ‘Alī, yā ‘Alī.
Call ‘Ali, the Manifestation of Wonders,
You will find him a helper for you in calamities.
Every anxiety and sorrow shall be removed,
By Your Greatness, O God! By Your Prophethood, O Muḥammad!
By Your Guardianship (Wilāyah), O ‘Alī! O ‘Alī! O ‘Alī!

نادِ عَلیّاً مَظهَرَ العَجائِبِ تَجِدْهُ عَوناً لَكَ فِي النَوائِبِ
Nādi ‘Aliyyan maẓhara l-‘ajā’ib, tajidhu ‘awnan laka fī n-nawā’ib.
Call ‘Ali, the Manifestation of Wonders, you will find him a helper for you in calamities.
لِي إِلَى اللهِ حَاجَتي وَ عَلَيْهِ مُعَوَّلِي
Lī ilā Allāhi ḥājatī, wa ‘alayhi mu‘awwalī.
To God is my need, and upon Him is my reliance.
كُلَّما أَمَرْتَهُ وَ رَمَيْتَ مُنقَضًى فِي ظِللِ اللهِ وَ يُظِلُّ اللهُ لِي
Kullamā amartahū wa ramayta munqaḍan fī ẓillil-Lāhi, wa yuẓillul-Lāhu lī.
Whenever you command him, and cast down (the matter/enemy), [it is] in the shadows of God, and God casts a shadow (or shelter) over me.
أَدْعُوكَ كُلَّ هَمٍّ وَ غَمٍّ سَينْجَلِي بِعَظَمَتِكَ يَا اللهُ
Ad‘ūka kulla hammin wa ghammin sayanjalī bi-‘aẓamatika yā Allāh.
I call upon You [so that] every anxiety and sorrow shall be removed by Your Greatness, O God!
بِنُبُوَّتِكَ يَا مُحَمَّدَ بِوِلَايَتِكَ يَا عَليّ يَا عَلِيّ يَا عَلِيّ
Bi-nubūwatika yā Muḥammad, bi-wilāyatika yā ‘Alī, yā ‘Alī, yā ‘Alī.
By Your Prophethood, O Muḥammad! By Your Guardianship (Wilāyah), O ‘Alī! O ‘Alī! O ‘Alī!
أَدْرِكْنِي بِحَقِّ لُطفِكَ الخَفِيِّ
Adriknī bi-ḥaqqi luṭfika l-khafiyy.
Reach me/help me by the right of Your Hidden Grace!
اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ أَنَا مِن شَرِّ أَعْدَائِكَ بَرِيءٌ
Allāhu Akbar. Ana min sharri a‘dā’ik barī’un.
God is Greater. I am innocent of the evil of Your enemies.
اللَّهُ صَمَدِي مِن عِندِكَ مَدًى وَ عَلَيْكَ مُعْتَمَدِي
Allāhu ṣamadī. Min ‘indika madan wa ‘alayka mu‘tamadī.
God is my Eternal Refuge. From You is my limit (or extent of help), and upon You is my dependence.
بِحَقِّ إِيَّاكَ نَعْبُدُ وَ إِيَّاكَ نَسْتَعِينُ
Bi-ḥaqqi iyyāka na‘budu wa iyyāka nasta‘īn.
By the right of 'You [alone] we worship, and You [alone] we ask for help' (Qur'an 1:5).
يَا أَبَالْغَيْثِ أَغِثْنِي يَا أَبَا الأَحْسَنَيْنِ أَدْرِكْنِي
Yā Abā l-Ghayth aghithnī, Yā Aba l-Ḥasanayn adriknī.
O Father of Succor (Abā al-Ghayth), aid me! O Father of the Two Ḥasans (Abā al-Ḥasanayn), reach me!
يَا سَيْفَ اللهِ أَدْرِكْنِي يَا بَابَ اللهِ أَدْرِكْنِي
Yā Sayfa Llāh adriknī, Yā Bāba Llāh adriknī.
O Sword of God, reach me! O Gate of God, reach me!
يَا حُجَّةَ اللهِ أَدْرِكْنِي يَا وَلِيَّ اللهِ أَدْرِكْنِي
Yā Ḥujjata Llāh adriknī, Yā Waliyya Llāh adriknī.
O Proof of God, reach me! O Guardian of God, reach me!
بِحَقِّ لُطفِكَ الخَفِيِّ يَا قَهَّارُ تَقَهَّرْتَ بِالقَهرِ
Bi-ḥaqqi luṭfika l-khafiyy, Yā Qahhār, taqahhartu bi-l-qahr.
By the right of Your Hidden Grace, O Subduer (al-Qahhār)! I have been subdued by subduing.
وَ القَهرُ فِي قَهْرِ قَهْرِكَ يَا قَهَّارُ يَا قَاهِرَ العَدُوِّ
Wa l-qahru fī qahri qahrika Yā Qahhār, Yā Qāhira l-‘aduww.
And subduing is in the subduing of Your Subduing, O Subduer! O Subduer of the enemy!
يَا مَظهَرَ العَجائِبِ يَا مُرْتَضَى عَليّ
Yā Maẓhara l-‘ajā’ib, Yā Murtaḍā ‘Alī.
O Manifestation of Wonders, O Approved ‘Alī (al-Murtaḍā)!
رَمَيْتَ مِن بَغْيٍ عَلَيْيَ بِسَهْمِ اللهِ وَ سَيْفِ اللهِ القَاتِلِ
Ramaytu min baghyin ‘alayya bi-sahmi Llāh wa sayfi Llāhi l-qātil.
[I/You] repel one who transgresses against me with the arrow of God and the lethal sword of God.
أُفَوِّضُ أَمْرِي إِلَى اللهِ إِنَّ اللهَ بَصِيرٌ بِالعِبَادِ
Ufawwiḍu amrī ilā Llāh, inna Llāha baṣīrun bi-l-‘ibād.
I entrust my affair to God. Indeed, God is Seeing of [His] servants (Qur'an 40:44).
وَ الحُكْمُ إِلَهٌ وَاحِدٌ لا إِلَهَ إِلَّا هُوَ الرَّحْمَانُ الرَّحِيمُ
Wa l-ḥukmu ilāhun wāḥidun lā ilāha illā Huwa r-Raḥmānu r-Raḥīm.
And the ruling (or authority) belongs to one God; there is no god but Him, the Most Compassionate, the Most Merciful.
يَا غِيَاثَ المُسْتَغِيثِينَ يَا دَلِيلَ المُتَحَيِّرِينَ
Yā Ghiyātha l-mustaghīthīn, Yā Dalīla l-mutaḥayyirīn.
O Succor of those who seek aid! O Guide of the bewildered!
يَا أَمَانَ الخَائِفِينَ يَا مُعِينَ المُتَوَكِّلِينَ
Yā Amāna l-khā’ifīn, Yā Mu‘īna l-mutawakkilīn.
O Security of the fearful! O Helper of those who rely [on You]!
يَا رَاحِمَ المَسَاكِينِ يَا إِلَهَ العَالَمِينَ بِرَحْمَتِكَ
Yā Rāḥima l-masākīn, Yā Ilāha l-‘ālamīn bi-raḥmatik.
O Bestower of mercy upon the wretched! O God of the Worlds, by Your Mercy!
وَ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَى سَيِّدِنا مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِهِ أَجْمَعِينَ
Wa ṣallā Llāhu ‘alā Sayyidinā Muḥammadin wa ālihī ajma‘īn.
And may God bless our Master Muḥammad and his family, all of them.
وَ الحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ العَالَمِينَ
Wa l-ḥamdu li-Llāhi Rabbi l-‘ālamīn.
And [all] praise is due to God, Lord of the Worlds.
Longer Version 2
نَادِ عَلِيًّا مَظْهَرَ الْعَجَائِبِ تَجِدْهُ عَوْنًا لَّكَ فِىْ النَّوَآئِبِ
Nadi ʿAliyyan maẓhara al-ʿajāʾibi tajidhu ʿawnan laka fī al-nawāʾib
Call upon Ali, the manifestation of wonders, and find him a helper in difficulties.
كُلَّ هَمٍّ وَّ غَمِّ إِلَى اللهِ حَاجَتِىٌ وَ عَلَيْهِ مُعَوَّلِىُّ
Kulla hammin wa ghammin ilā Allāhi ḥājati wa ʿalayhi muʿawwali
Every worry and sorrow—I direct my needs to Allah, and on Him I rely.
كُلُّمَا رَمَيْتُ مُتَقَاضِىُ فِىُ اللهِ يَدُ اللهِ وَلِىُّ
Kullamā ramaytu mutaqāḍī fī Allāhi yad Allāhi waliyyu
Whenever I aim at a goal in Allah, His hand supports me.
اللّهِلِى أَدْعُوْكَ كُلَّ هَمِّ وَغَمِّ سَيَنْجَلِىُ بِعَظَمَتِكَ
Allāhumma adʿūka kulla hammin wa ghammin sayanjali biʿaẓamatika
Oh Allah, I call upon You—every worry and sorrow will vanish by Your greatness.
يَا أَلَلْهُ بِنُبُوَّتِكَ يَا مُحَمَّدُ بِلَا يَتِكَ يَا عَلِىُّ يَا عَلِىُّ
Yā Allāh, binubuwwatika yā Muḥammad, biwilāyatika yā ʿAliyyu yā ʿAliyyu
Oh Allah, through Your Prophethood, O Muhammad, through Your guardianship, O Ali, O Ali!
كُبَرُ اللهُ أَكْبَرُ أَنَا مِنْ شَرِّ أَعْدَآئِكَ بَرِىُءٌ
Kabbar Allāhu Akbar, anā min sharri aʿdāʾika barīʾun
Allah is the Greatest! I disassociate myself from the evil of Your enemies.
اللّهُ صَمَدِىُ بِحَقِّ ِيَّاكَ نَعُبُدُ وَإِيَّاكَ نَسْتَعِيْنُ
Allāhu ṣamadī biḥaqqi iyyāka naʿbudu wa iyyāka nastaʿīn
Allah is my refuge. By the truth of “You alone we worship, and You alone we ask for help.”
يَا أَبَا الْغَيْثِ أَغْشُنِىُّ يَا عَلِىُّ أَدْرِكْنِى
Yā Abā alGhaythi aghthinī, yā ʿAliyyu adriknī
O Father of relief, help me! O Ali, rescue me!
يَا قَاهِرَ الْعَدُةِّ وَيَا وَلِيَّ الوَلِيِّ يَا مَظُهَرَ الْعَجَائِبِ
Yā Qāhir alʿudda wa yā waliyy alwaliyy, yā maẓhar alʿajāʾib
O Subduer of adversaries and Protector of the loyal, O manifestation of wonders!
يَا مُرْتَضَى عَلِيٍّ يَا قَهَّارُ تَقَهَّرْتَ بِْلقَهَرِ
Yā Murtaḍā ʿAliyy, yā Qahhār, taqahhart bilqahr
O Chosen Ali, O Subduer, You have subdued all with power.
وَالقَهَرُ فِىْ قَهْرِ قَهْرِكَ يَا ذَا الْبَطْشِ الشَّدِيْدِ
Walqahru fī qahri qahrika yā Dhā alBaṭsh alShadīd
And power itself is subdued by Your overwhelming might, O Possessor of severe grasp.
آَنْتَ الْقَاهِرُ الْجَبَّارُ الْمُهْلِكُ المُنْتَقِمُ الْقَوِىُّ
Anta alQāhir alJabbār alMuhlik alMuntaqim alQawiyy
You are the Subduer, the Compeller, the Destroyer, the Avenger, the AllStrong.
وَ أُفَوِّضُ أَمْرِىٌ إِلَى اللْهِ إِنَّ اللّهَ بَصِيرٌ بِالْعِبَادِ
Wa ufawwiḍu amrī ilā Allāh, inna Allāha baṣīrun bilʿibād
And I entrust my affairs to Allah; indeed, Allah sees His servants.
حَسْبِىَ اللهُ وَ نِعْمَ الْوَكِيْلُ نِعْمَ الْمَوْلى وَنِعْمَ النَّصِيْرُ
Ḥasbiyallāhu wa niʿma alwakīl, niʿma almawlā wa niʿma alnaṣīr
Allah is sufficient for me, and He is the best Disposer of affairs, the best Master, and the best Helper.
