\n2 Rakaat salaat: In the first unit of the dawn / fajr prayer, it is recommended to recite Surah al-Jumu`ah (No. 62) after surah Al-hamd and, in the second unit, Surah al-Tawhid (No. 112) after surah Al-hamd.\n

It has been narrated that one who says the following salwaat after the Fajr Prayers on Fridays, as well as other days, will meet Imam al-Mahdi (peace be upon him) before he dies:\n
اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ وَعَجِّلْ فَرَجَهُمْ\n
allahumma salli `ala muhammadin wa ali muhammadin wa `ajjil farajahum\n
O Allah, bless Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad and hasten their Reappearance\n
one who repeats the above mentioned invocation one hundred times will have sixty of his requests granted for him — thirty in this worldly life and thirty on the Resurrection Day

It is recommended to recite Surah al-Rahman (No. 55) after the Fajr Prayer on Fridays and ,wherever the verses, “Then which of the favors of your Lord will ye deny?” are recited to say\n
لَا بِشَيْءٍ مِن آلَاءِكَ رَبِّي اُكَذِّبُ\n
la bishay'in min ala'ika rabbi ukadhdhibu.\n
“None of Your favors do I deny,”\n
\n
It is recommended to repeat Surah al-Kafirun (No. 109) ten times before sunrise and then pray to Almighty Allah so that all prayers will be answered.

It has been narrated that Imam `Ali ibn al-Husayn Zayn al-`Abidin (peace be upon him) used to repeatedly recite Ayah al-Kursi until 'hum feeha khaalidoon (verse No. 255 of Surah 2 al-Baqarah ) from early morning up to midday on Fridays.
 \n
When he accomplished the obligatory prayers, he would recite Surah al-Qadr (No. 97) frequently.

Shaykh al-Tusi has recorded that it is highly recommended to recite Surah al-Tawhid,recite 100 times Salwaat and 100 times isteghfar below\n
أَسْتَغْفِرُ ٱللَّهَ رَبّي وَأَتُوبُ إِلَيْهِ\n
astaghfiru allaha rabbi wa atubu ilayhi\n
I pray for the forgiveness of Allah—my Lord, and I repent before Him.

.It is highly recommended to bathe oneself, ie, to do Ghusl. In fact, this is one of the most confirmed rituals of Fridays. 

The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings upon him and his family) is reported to have instructed Imam `Ali (peace be upon him) by saying, “O `Ali; wash yourself every Friday even if you have to purchase water with your daily provisions and have nothing to eat. Verily, no voluntary act is better than this.” 

Imam al-Sadiq (peace be upon him) is also reported to have said: Whoever washes himself on Fridays and, says the following prayer will be pure all through that week:

It has been narrated that the best hours of Fridays are these coming after the `Asr Prayer. Accordingly, it is recommended to repeat the following invocation one hundred times at that time:

One who says the following invocation after the `Asr Prayer on Fridays will be awarded the reward of the righteous deeds of all men and jinn on that day. One who repeats this invocation ten times immediately after the `Asr Prayer on Fridays will receive the blessings of the angels up to the next Friday and the very hour.

Imam Musa al-Kadhim (peace be upon him) is reported as saying: On Fridays, Almighty Allah has one thousand gifts of mercy. He grants a servant whatever number He wills. Thus, He grants the servant who recites Surah al-Qadr one hundred times after the `Asr Prayer on Fridays all these gifts and their like.

Shaykh al-Tusi has mentioned that the last hour of Friday, which lasts to sunset, is the hour in which prayers are responded. Therefore, it is required to pray to Almighty Allah insistently at that hour. It has been also narrated that this hour begins when half of the sun disk sets and the other half only remains visible. Lady Fatimah al-Zahra' (peace be upon her), used to pray to Almighty Allah at this hour so that her prayers be answered.

It is recommended to recite before sunset the famous prayer known as Du`a' al-Simat ( Shabbour)
It is also recommended to say the following litany that is reported from the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him and his Household):

"transliteration": "wash-shafaa'atal-jaa'izata wal-manzilar-rafee'a feel-jannati 'indaka aameena rabbal-'aalameen", "translation": "rewarded intercession and a raised home in heaven close by you; may "transliteration": "wa taksiru bihee quwwata kulli shaytaanim-mareediw-wa jabbaarin 'aneediw-wa jinniyyin 'ateed", "translation": "and You break with it the disobedient, obstinate tyrant, and prepared desire the delay of what You hasten," }, { "arabic": "حَتّى لا أحُبَّ تأخيرَ ما عَجّلْتَ", "transliteration": "wa laa ta'jeela maa akh-khart", "translation": "nor the hastening of what You delay." }, { "arabic": "وَلاتَعْجيلَ ماأخّرْتَ", "transliteration": "waj'al ghinaaya fee nafsee", "translation": "And place my self-sufficiency within my soul," }, { "arabic": "واجْعَلْ غِناي في نَفْسي", "transliteration": "wa matti'nee fee sam'ee wa basaree", "translation": "and grant me the benefit of my hearing and sight," }, { "arabic": "وَمَتِعْني في سَمْعي وَبَصَري", "transliteration": "waj'al-humal-waarithayni minnee", "translation": "and make them both my surviving heirs." }, { "arabic": "وَاجْعَلْهُما الوارِثَيْنِ مِنّي", "transliteration": "wansurnee 'alaa man zalamanee", "وَأخْرِجْني مِنَ الدُّنْيا سالِما", "transliteration": "wa zawwijnee minal-hooril-'een", "translation": "and wed me to the wide-eyed maidens of Paradise." }, { "arabic": "وَزَوِّجني مِنَ الحورِ 'ibaadikas-saaliheen", "translation": "and admit me by Your mercy among Your righteous servants." }, { "arabic": "وَأدْخِلْني بِرَحْمَتِكَ في عِبادِكَ الصالِحينَ", "transliteration": "allaahumma in tu'adh-dhibnee fa-ahlun li-dhaalika anaa", "translation": "O Allah, if You punish me, I am deserving of that;" }, { "arabic": "اللّهُمَّ إنْ تُعَذِّبْني فَأهْلٌ لِذلِكَ أنا", "transliteration": "wa in taghfir lee fa-ahlun li-dhaalika ant", "translation": "and if You forgive me, You are most worthy of doing so." }, { "arabic": "وَإنْ تَغْفِرْ لي فأهْلٌ لِذلك أنْتَ", "transliteration": "wa kayfa tu'adh-dhibunee yaa sayyidee wa hubbuka fee qalbee", "translation": "Yet how could You punish me, my Master, when Your love resides in my heart?" }, { "arabic": "وكيف تعذبني يَا سَيِّدِي وَ حُبُّكَ وَ بَيْنَ قَوْمٍ طَالَمَا عَادَيْتُهُمْ فِيْكَ", "transliteration": "allaahumma bi-haqqi awliyaa'ikat-taahireen", "translation": "O Allah, by the right of Your pure intimates," }, { "arabic": "اَللّٰهُمَّ بِحَقِّ أَوْلِيَائِكَ الطَّاهِرِينَ", "transliteration": "allaahummar-zuqnaa sidqal-hadeeth", "translation": "O Allah, grant us truthfulness in speech," }, { "arabic": "اَللّٰهُمَّ ارْزُقْنَا صِدْقَ الْحَدِيثِ", "transliteration": "wa adaa'al-amaanah", "translation": "and the fulfillment of trust," }, { "arabic": "وَأَدَاءَ الْأَمَانَةِ", "transliteration": "wal-muhaafazata 'alas-salawaat", "translation": "and the careful observance of prayers." }, { "arabic": "وَالْمُحَافَظَةَ عَلَى الصَّلَوَاتِ", "transliteration": "allaahumma innaa ahaqqu khalqika an taf'alahoo binaa", "translation": "O Allah, we are the most worthy of Your creation for You to bestow this upon us;" }, { "arabic": "اللّهُمَّ إنَّا أحَقُّ خَلْقِكَ أنْ تَفْعَلَهُ بِنا", "transliteration": "allaahummaf-'alhu binaa bi-rahmatik", "translation": "O Allah, grant it to us by Your mercy." }, { "arabic": "اللّهُمَّ افْعَلْهُ بِنا برحمتك", "transliteration": "allaahummar-fa' zanneey saa'idaa", preserve me standing, sitting, awake, and asleep." }, { "arabic": "وَأحْفَظْنِي قائِما وَقاعِداً وَيَقْظانَ وَراقِداً", "transliteration": "allaahummagh-fir lee warhamnee", "translation": "O Allah, "فَأَغْشَيْنَاهُمْ فَهُمْ لَا يُبْصِرُونَ،", "transliteration": "Fa aghshay-nāhum fa hum lā yubṣirūn,", "translation": "We have blinded them so they do not see," }, { "arabic": "اللَّهُ يَرْعَانِي،", "transliteration": "Allāhu yar'ānī,", "translation": "Allah protects me," }, { "arabic": "وَ يُقَوِّينِي عَلَى الْخَلْقِ،", "transliteration": "Wa yuqawwīnī 'ala al-khalq,", "translation": "And strengthens me against creation," }, { "arabic": "بِنُورِ اللَّهِ أَسْتَبْصِرُ،", "transliteration": "Binūri Allāh astabṣir,", "translation": "By Allah's light I see clearly," }, { "arabic": "وَ بِقُوَّةِ اللَّهِ الْقُدُّوسِ أَسْتَعِينُ،", "transliteration": "Wa biquwwati Allāh al-Quddūs asta'īn,", "translation": "And by Allah the Holy's strength, I seek help," }, { "arabic": "اللَّهَ فَتْحاً وَ هَيْبَةً،", "transliteration": "Wa fatḥan wa haybatan,", "translation": "And an opening and awe," }, { "arabic": "وَ نُوراً وَ عَظَمَةً،", "transliteration": "Wa nūran wa ‘aẓamatan,", "translation": "And light and greatness," }, { "arabic": "أَبَداً مَا أَبْقَيْتَنِي،", "transliteration": "Abadan mā abqaytanī,", "translation": "Forever as long as I live," }, { "arabic": "وَ تَكُونُ لِي حِفْظاً وَ خَلَاصاً وَ نَجَاحاً،", "transliteration": "Wa takūnu lī ḥifẓan wa khilāṣan wa najāḥan,", "translation": "And be for me a protection, deliverance, and success," }, { "arabic": "أَنَا عَبْدُكَ وَ ابْنُ عَبْدِكَ،", "transliteration": "Anā ‘abduka wa ibn ‘abdika,", "translation": "I am Your servant and the son of Your servant," }, { "arabic": "تَغْشَانِي رَحْمَتُكَ،", kalīmuka Fir‘awn,", "translation": "And as You destroyed Pharaoh for Moses, Your speaker," }, { "arabic": "وَ بِأَسْمَائِكَ هَذِهِ فَنَجِّنِي بِهَا،", "transliteration": "Wa bi-asmā'ika hādhihi fanajjinī bihā,", "translation": "And by these names, save me by them," }, { "arabic": "وَ كَمَا الْأَرْضُ مَكْبُوسَةٌ تَحْتَ السَّمَاءِ،", "transliteration": "Wa kamā al-arḍu makbūsatun taḥta al-samā’,", "translation": "And just as the earth is beneath the sky," }, { "arabic": "وَ كَمَا بَنُو آدَمَ مَكْبُوسُونَ تَحْتَ السَّمَاءِ،", "transliteration": "Wa kamā banū Ādam makbūsūna taḥta al-samā’,", "translation": "And as the sons of Adam are beneath the sky," }, { "arabic": "وَ تَحْتَ مَلَكِ الْمَوْتِ،", "transliteration": "Wa taḥta malaki al-mawt,", "translation": "And beneath the Angel of Death," }, { "arabic": "وَ كَمَا مَلَكُ الْمَوْتِ مَكْبُوسٌ بَيْنَ يَدَيِ اللَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ،", "transliteration": "Wa kamā malaku al-mawt makbūsun bayna yaday Allāh Rabb al-‘ālamīn,", "translation": "And just as the Angel of Death is between the hands of Allah, the Lord of the worlds," }, { "arabic": "كَذَلِكَ يَكُونُ الْخَلَائِقُ مَكْبُوسِينَ تَحْتَ قَدَمَيَّ أَبَداً مَا أَحْيَيْتَنِي،", "transliteration": "Kadhālika yakūnu al-khalā’iqu makbūsīna taḥta qadamayya abadan mā aḥyaytanī,", "translation": "Likewise, the creatures shall be beneath my feet as long as I live," }, { "arabic": "يَا نَاصِرَ الْمُسْلِمِينَ،", "transliteration": "Yā nāṣira al-muslimīn,", "translation": "O Helper of the Muslims," }, { "arabic": "وَ يَا صَرِيخَ الْمُسْتَصْرِخِينَ،", "transliteration": "Wa yā ṣarīkh al-mustasrikīn,", "translation": "O Responder to the distressed," }, { "arabic": "وَ يَا أَرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمِينَ،", "transliteration": "Wa yā arḥama al-rāḥimīn,", "translation": "O Most Merciful of the merciful," }, { "arabic": "أَنْتَ لِي حِرْزٌ مِنْ جَمِيعِ خَلْقِكَ،", "transliteration": "Anta lī ḥirzun min jamī‘ khalqik,", "translation": "You are my protection from all Your creation," }, { "arabic": "وَ مِنْ بَنِي آدَمَ وَ بَنَاتِ حَوَّاءَ وَ أَتْبَاعِهِمْ،", "transliteration": "Wa min banī Ādam wa banāti Ḥawwā’ wa atbā‘ihim,", "translation": "And from the sons of Adam and the daughters of Eve and their followers," }, { "arabic": "وَ مِنْ شَرِّ الْجِنِّ وَ الْإِنْسِ،", "transliteration": "Wa min sharri al-jinn wa al-ins,", "translation": "And from the evil of the jinn and humans," }, { "arabic": "أَنْ لَا يَسْطُوَ عَلَيَّ أَحَدٌ مِنْهُمْ،", "transliteration": "An lā yasṭū ‘alayya aḥadun minhum,", "translation": "That none of them overpower me," }, { "arabic": "عَزَّ جَارُكَ،", "transliteration": "‘Azza jāruk,", "translation": "Your neighbor is mighty," }, { "arabic": "لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ،", "transliteration": "Lā ilāha illā anta,", "translation": "There is no god but You," }, { "arabic": "تَمَسَّكْتُ بِالْعُرْوَةِ الْوُثْقىٰ الَّتِي لَا انْفِصٰامَ لَهٰا،", "transliteration": "Tamassaktu bi-al-‘urwati al-wuthqā allati lā infiṣāma lahā,", "translation": "I cling to the firm handle that never breaks," }, { "arabic": "الَّتِي لَا يُجَاوِزُهَا بَرٌّ وَ لَا فَاجِرٌ،", "transliteration": "Allati lā yujāwizhā barrun wa lā fājirun,", "translation": "That no righteous or wicked can surpass," }, { "arabic": "اعْتَصَمْتُ بِحَبْلِ اللَّهِ الْمَتِينِ،", "transliteration": "I‘taṣamtu bi-ḥabli Allāh al-matīn,", "translation": "I hold fast to Allah’s strong rope," }, { "arabic": "أَعُوذُ بِاللَّهِ مِنْ شَرِّ فَسَقَةِ الْعَرَبِ وَ الْعَجَمِ،", "transliteration": "A‘ūdhū bi-Allāh min sharri fasakati al-‘arab wa al-‘ajam,", "translation": "I seek refuge in Allah from the evil of the wicked among the Arabs and the non-Arabs," }, { "arabic": "وَ مِنْ شَرِّ الْجِنِّ وَ الْإِنْسِ،", "transliteration": "Wa min sharri al-jinn wa al-ins,", "translation": "And from the evil of the jinn and humans," }, { "arabic": "وَ مِنْ شَرِّ مَنْ يُرِيدُ بِي سُوءً أَوْ يُرِيدُ بِي شَرّاً،", "transliteration": "Wa min sharri "Tawakkaltu ‘ala Allāh,", "translation": "I rely on Allah," }, { "arabic": "وَ مَنْ يَتَوَكَّلْ عَلَى اللَّهِ فَهُوَ حَسْبُهُ،", "transliteration": "Wa man yatawakkal ‘ala Allāh fahuwa ḥasbuh,", "translation": "And whoever relies on Allah, He is sufficient for him," }, { "arabic": "إِنَّ اللَّهَ بَالِغُ أَمْرِهِ،", "transliteration": "Inna Allāh bālighu amrih,", "translation": "Indeed, Allah everything," }, { "arabic": "حَسْبِيَ اللَّهُ،", "transliteration": "Ḥasbiya Allāh,", "translation": "Allah is sufficient for me," }, { "arabic": "بِسْمِ اللَّهِ وَ بِاللَّهِ أُومِنُ،", "transliteration": "Bismillāh wa billāh ū’min,", "translation": "In the name of Allah and by Allah, I believe," }, { "arabic": "وَ بِاللَّهِ أَثِقُ،", "transliteration": "Wa billāh athiqat,", "translation": "And in Allah, I trust," }, { "arabic": "وَ بِاللَّهِ أَتَعَوَّذُ،", "transliteration": "Wa billāh ata'awwadhu,", "translation": "And in Allah, I seek refuge," }, { "arabic": "وَ yujāwizhunnā barrun wa lā fājir,", "translation": "I seek refuge in Allah’s perfect words that no righteous or wicked can surpass," }, { "arabic": "مِمَّا ذَرَأَ وَ بَرَأَ،", "transliteration": "Mimmā dhara'a wa bara'a,", "translation": "From what He created and formed," }, { "arabic": "وَ مِنْ شَرِّ كُلِّ مَا يَطْرُقُ بِاللَّيْلِ وَ النَّهَارِ،", "transliteration": "Wa min sharri kulli mā yaṭruqu "translation": "You are my Guardian and my Lord," }, { "arabic": "فَلَا تُسَلِّمْنِي وَ لَا تَخْذُلْنِي وَ لَا تَكِلْنِي إِلَى نَفْسِي طَرْفَةَ عَيْنٍ،", "transliteration": "Fa-lā tusallimnī wa lā takhdhulnī wa lā takilnī ilā nafsī tarfata ‘ayn,", "translation": "Do not abandon me, nor forsake me, nor leave me to myself even for the blink of an eye," }, { "arabic": "وَ لَا تُؤَاخِذْنِي بِذُنُوبِي وَ إِسْرَافِي عَلَى نَفْسِي،", "transliteration": "Wa lā tu’ākhidhnī bidhunūbī wa isrāfī ‘alā nafsī,", "translation": "And do not hold me accountable for my sins and my excesses upon One of these prayers preferred for Friday is al-Salat al-Kamilah (The Perfect Prayer) that has been mentioned by many master scholars through numerous authentic series of reporters from Imam Ja`far al-Sadiq (peace be upon him) on the authority of his honorable fathers on the authority of the Holy Prophet—Allah’s peace and blessings be upon them all.

In this connection, the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) is reported to have said: As for him who offers this prayer, Almighty Allah will save him from the evils of the inhabitants of the heavens, the inhabitants of the earth, the devil, and all unjust rulers., before midday on Fridays, offers a four-unit prayer and recites the following in each unit: 

(1) Surah al-Fatihah ten times, 
(2) Surah al-Nas (No. 114) ten times, 
(3) Surah al-Falaq (No. 113) ten times, 
(4) Surah al-Tawhid (No. 112) ten times, 
(5) Surah al-Kafirun (No. 109) ten times, 
(6) Ayah al-Kursi (2:155) ten times, 
[And, according to another narration] 
(7) Surah al-Qadr (No. 97) ten times, 
(8) Ayat Shahidallah (3:18-19) ten times,] 

and, after the accomplishment of the prayer repeat the following statement one hundred times:,
astaghfiru allaha x100

and the below 100 times followed by salawat 100 times

ten units of prayer with perfect genuflection (ruku`) and prostration (sujud) repeating the following litany one hundred times between each couple (i.e. two) of units: 
subhana allahi wa bihamdihi 


It has been narrated that Imam al-Sadiq (peace be upon him) said, “One who recites Surahs Ibrahim (No. 14) and al-Hijr (No. 15) altogether in a two-unit prayer on Fridays will be saved from poverty, insanity, and misfortunes forever.”
