Peace be upon you, O son of the Muhammad Mustafaa

Peace be upon you, O son of Ali Murtazaa

Peace be upon you, O son of Fatema,

Peace be upon you, O son of Khadijatul- kubra

Peace be upon you, O he who fought in the way of Allah and the son of one who fought in the way of Allah

َالسَّلاَمُ عَلَیْکَ یَابْنَ مُحَمَّدٍ نِ الْمُصْطَفیٰ

اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَیْکَ یَابْنَ عَلِیٍ نِ الْمُرْتَضیٰ

اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَیْکَ یَا بْنَ فَاطِمَۃَ الزَّہْرَآءِ اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَیْکَ یَابْنَ خَدِیْجَۃَ الْکُبْریٰ

اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَیْکَ یَا ثَارَ اللّٰہِ وَابْنَ ثَارِہٖ وَالْوِتْرَ الْمُوْتُوْرَ

I bear witness that verily you established the prayers And gave the zakat (prescribed share) to the needy

And commanded to do what is right and lawful And not to do that which is wrong and unlawful

And obeyed Allah and His Messenger until the inevitable came unto you

So, Allah curse those who killed you And Allah curse those who wronged you

And Allah curse those who heard the event and rested satisfied

O My Master, O Aba ′Abdullah!

I bear witness that verily you were a light in the sublime loins and purified wombs

The impurities of ignorance did not even tough you

Nor could its soiled and dirty bearing ever smear you

I bear witness that, verily, you are the mainstay of the religion, and the supporter of the faithful ones

I bear witness that, verily, you are a pious, God-fearing, favorite, wise And rightly guided (Imam)

I bear witness that the Imams, in your progeny, are the words of piety

And the signs of guidance And the safe handle of Islam, And the decisive argument for the humankind.

I call Allah to give witness, and also His Angels And His Prophets and His Messenger

That, verily, I believe in (all of) you And that I am sure of your Return Joined to the divine laws of my belief and my accomplishments

And my heart is resigned to yours And my conduct is following the example of yours

Blessings of Allah be on (all of) you and on your souls And on your bodies

and on your forms and (when) you are in view

and (when) you are out of sight and on your style and on your substance.

اَشْہَدُ اَنَّکَ قَدْ اَقَمْتَ الصَّلوٰۃَ وَ اٰتَیْتَ الزَّکٰوۃ

وَ اَمَرْتَ بِالْمَعْرُوْفِ

وَ نَہَیْتَ عَنِ الْمُنْکَرِ

وَ اَطَعْتَ اللّٰہُ وَ رَسُوْلَہٗ حَتّٰی اَتٰیکَ الْیَقِیْن

فَلَعَنَ اللّٰہُ اُمَّۃً قَتَلَتْکَ وَ لَعَنَ اللّٰہُ اُمَّۃً ظَلَمَتْکَ

وَ لَعَنَ اللّٰہُ اُمَّۃً سَمِعَتْ بِذٰالِکَ فَرَضِیَتْ بِہٖ

یَا مَوْلاَیَ یَا اَبَا عَبْدِ اللّٰہِ

اَشْہَدُ اَنَّکَ کُنْتَ نُوْراً فِی الْاَصْلاَبِ الشَّامِخَۃِ وَالْاَرْحَامِ الْمُطَہَّرَۃِ

لَمْ تُنَجِّسْکَ الْجَاہِلِیَّۃُ بِاَنْجَاسِہَا وَلَمْ تُلْبِسْکَ مِنْ مُدْ لَہِمَّاتِ ثِیَابِہَا

وَ اَشْہَدُ اَنَّکَ مِنْ دَعَآئِمِ الدِّیْنَ وَ اَرْکَانِ الْمُؤْمِنِیْنَ وَ اَشْہَدُ اَنَّکَ الْاِمَامُ الْبَرُّ التَّقِیُّ الرَّضِیُّ الزَّکِیُّ الْہَادِی الْمَہْدِیُّ

وَ اَشْہَدُ اَنَّ الْاَئِمَّۃَ مِنْ وُلْدِکَ کَلِمَۃُ التَّقْویٰ وَ اَعْلاَمُ الْہُدیٰ وَالْعُرْوَۃُ الْوُثْقیٰ وَالْحُجَّۃُ عَلیٰ اَہْلِ الدُّنْیَا

وَ اُشْہِدُ اللّٰہَ وَ مَلٓائِکَتَہٗ وَ اَنْبِیَآئَہٗ وَ رُسُلَہٗ اِنِّیْ بِکُمْ مُؤْمِنٌ وَ بِاِیَابِکُمْ مُوْمِنٌ بِشَرَایِعِ دِیْنِیْ وَ خَوَاتِیْمِ عَمَلِیْ

وَ قَلْبِیْ لِقَلْبِکُمْ سِلْمٌ وَ اَمْرِیْ لِاَمْرُکُمْ مُتَّبِعٌ

صَلَوَاتُ اللّٰہِ عَلَیْکُمْ وَ عَلیٰ اَرْوَاحِکُمْ وَ عَلیٰ اَجْسَادِکُمْ وَ عَلیٰ اَجْسَامِکُمْ

وَ عَلیٰ شَاہِدِکُمْ

وَ عَلیٰ غَآئِبِکُمْ وَ عَلیٰ ظَاہِرِکُمْ وَ عَلیٰ بَاطِنِکُمْ.

Ziarat Hazrat Ali Akbar son of Imam Hussain (as)

Peace be upon you, O son of the Messenger of Allah.

Peace be upon you, O son of the Prophet of Allah.

Peace be upon you, O son of Ameer al-Mu’mineen (the commander of the believers).

Peace be upon you, O son of al-Husayn the shaheed (martyr).

Peace be upon you, O shaheed.

Peace be upon you, O the oppressed one and son of the oppressed one.

Curse of Allah be on those who killed you. Curse of Allah be on those who persecuted you.

Curse of Allah be on those who heard this even but rested satisfied.

اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَیْکَ یَا بْنَ رَسُوْلِ اللّٰہِ اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَیْکَ یَابْنَ نَبِیِّ اللّٰہِ اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَیْکَ یَابْنَ اَمِیْرِ الْمُؤْمِنِیْنَ

اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَیْکَ یَابْنَ الْحُسَیْنِ الشَّہِیْدِ اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَیْکَ اَیُّہَا الشَّہِیْدُ وَابْنُ الشَّہِیْدِ

السَّلاَمُ عَلَیْکَ اَیُّہَا الْمَظْلُوْمُ وَابْنُ الْمَظْلُوْمِ

لَعَنَ اللّٰہُ اُمَّۃً قَتَلَتْکَ وَ لَعَنَ اللّٰہُ اُمَّۃً ظَلَمَتْکَ وَ لَعَنَ اللّٰہُ اُمَّۃً سَمِعَتْ بِذَالِکَ فَرَضِیَتِ بِہٖ.

Ziarat Shohada (Martyrs) of Kerbala

Peace be upon all of you, O the helpers of Allah’s religion

Peace be upon all of you, O the helpers of the Messenger of Allah

Peace be upon all of you, O the helpers of Ameer al-Mu’mineen

Peace be upon all of you, O the helpers of Fatimah the chiefess of the women of this world

Peace be upon all of you, O the helpers of Aba Muhammad al-Hasan ibn Ali The sincere, pure and faithful saint

Peace be upon all of you, O the helpers of Aba Abdullah

My father and mother be sacrificed for you Verily, you were pure; therefore, the land wherein you are buried has been purified

You also attained your end and won great fortune

Would that we were with you

So that we could also share the accomplishment with you.

اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَیْکُمْ یَا اَوْلِیآءَ اللّٰہِ وَ اَحِبَّائَہٗ اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْکُمْ یَا اَصْفِیَاءَ اللّٰہِ اَوِدَّائَہٗ اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَیْکُمْ یَا اَنْصَارَ دِیْنِ اللّٰہِ اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَیْکُمْ یَا اَنْصَارَ رَسُوْلِ اللّٰہِ

اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَیْکُمْ یَا اَنْصَارَ اَمِیْرِ الْمُؤْمِنِیْنَ

اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَیْکُمْ یَا اَنْصَارَ فَاطِمَۃَ سَیِّدَۃِ نِسَاءِ الْعٰلَمِیْنَ اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَیْکُمْ یَا اَنْصَارَ اَبِیْ مُحَمَّدِ نِ الْحَسَنِ ابْنِ عَلِیِّ نِ الزَّکِیِّ النَّاصِحِ

اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَیْکُمْ یَا اَنْصَارَ اَبِیْ عَبْدِ اللّٰہِ

بِاَبِیْ اَنْتُمْ وَ اُمِّیْ طِبْتُمْ وَطَابَتِ الْاَرْضُ الَّتِیْ فِیْہَا دُفِنْتُمْ

وَ فُزْتُمْ فَوْزاً عَظِیْماً

فَیَا لَیْتَنِیْ کُنْتُ مَعَکُمْ فَاَفُوْزَ مَعَکُمْ.

اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ يَا وَارِثَ آدَمَ صَفْوَةِ ٱللَّهِ	alssal¡mu `alayka y¡ w¡ritha ¡dama ¥afwati all¡hi	Peace be upon you, O inheritor of Adam the choice of Allah.
اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ يَا وَارِثَ نُوحٍ نَبِيِّ ٱللَّهِ	alssal¡mu `alayka y¡ w¡ritha n£¦in nabiyyi all¡hi	Peace be upon you, O inheritor of Noah the prophet of Allah.
اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ يَا وَارِثَ إِبْرَاهِيمَ خَلِيلِ ٱللَّهِ	alssal¡mu `alayka y¡ w¡ritha ibr¡h¢ma khal¢li all¡hi	Peace be upon you, O inheritor of Abraham the intimate friend of Allah.
اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ يَا وَارِثَ مُوسَىٰ كَلِيمِ ٱللَّهِ	alssal¡mu `alayka y¡ w¡ritha m£s¡ kal¢mi all¡hi	Peace be upon you, O inheritor of Moses the spoken by Allah.
اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ يَا وَارِثَ عِيسَىٰ رُوحِ ٱللَّهِ	alssal¡mu `alayka y¡ w¡ritha `¢s¡ r£¦i all¡hi	Peace be upon you, O inheritor of Jesus the spirit of Allah.
اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ يَا وَارِثَ مُحَمَّدٍ حَبِيبِ ٱللَّهِ	alssal¡mu `alayka y¡ w¡ritha mu¦ammadin ¦ab¢bi all¡hi	Peace be upon you, O inheritor of Mu¦ammad the most beloved by Allah.
اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ يَا وَارِثَ امِيرِ ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ عَلَيْهِ ٱلسَّلاَمُ	alssal¡mu `alayka y¡ w¡ritha am¢ri almu'min¢na	Peace be upon you, O inheritor of the Commander of the Faithful, peace be upon him.
اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ يَا بْنَ مُحَمَّدٍ ٱلْمُصْطَفَىٰ	alssal¡mu `alayka yabna mu¦ammadin almu¥§af¡	Peace be upon you, O son of Mu¦ammad the well-chosen Prophet.
اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ يَا بْنَ عَلِيٍّ ٱلْمُرْتَضَىٰ	alssal¡mu `alayka yabna `aliyyin almurta¤¡	Peace be upon you, O son of `Al¢ the well-pleased.
اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ يَا بْنَ فَاطِمَةَ ٱلزَّهْرَاءِ	alssal¡mu `alayka yabna f¡§imata alzzahr¡'i	Peace be upon you, O son of F¡§imah the luminous lady.
اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ يَا بْنَ خَدِيـجَةَ ٱلْكُبْرَىٰ	alssal¡mu `alayka yabna khad¢jata alkubr¡	Peace be upon you, O son of Khad¢jah the grand lady.
اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ يَا ثَارَ ٱللَّهِ وَٱبْنَ ثَارِهِ	alssal¡mu `alayka y¡ th¡ra all¡hi wabna th¡rih¢	Peace be upon you, O vengeance of Allah, son of His vengeance,
وَٱلْوِتْرَ ٱلْمَوْتُورَ	walwitra almawt£ra	and the unavenged so far.
اشْهَدُ انَّكَ قَدْ اقَمْتَ ٱلصَّلاَةَ	ashhadu annaka qad aqamta al¥¥al¡ta	I bear witness that you performed the prayers,
وَآتَيْتَ ٱلزَّكَاةَ	wa ¡tayta alzzak¡ta	defrayed the poor-rate,
وَامَرْتَ بِٱلْمَعْرُوفِ	wa amarta bilma`r£fi	enjoined the right,
وَنَهَيْتَ عَنِ ٱلْمُنْكَرِ	wa nahayta `an almunkari	forbade the wrong,
وَاطَعْتَ ٱللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُ حَتَّىٰ اتَاكَ ٱلْيَقِينُ	wa a§a`ta all¡ha wa ras£lah£ ¦att¡ at¡ka alyaq¢nu	and obeyed Allah and His Messenger until death came upon you.
فَلَعَنَ ٱللَّهُ امَّةً قَتَلَتْكَ	fala`ana all¡hu ummatan qatalatka	So, may Allah curse the people who slew you.
وَلَعَنَ ٱللَّهُ امَّةً ظَلَمَتْكَ	wa la`ana all¡hu ummatan ¨alamatka	May Allah curse the people who persecuted you.
وَلَعَنَ ٱللَّهُ امَّةً سَمِعَتْ بِذٰلِكَ فَرَضِيَتْ بِهِ	wa la`ana all¡hu ummatan sami`at bidh¡lika fara¤iyat bih¢	May Allah curse the people who were pleased when they had heard of that.
يَا مَوْلاَيَ يَا ابَا عَبْدِ ٱللَّهِ	y¡ mawl¡ya y¡ ab¡ `abdill¡hi	O my Master, O Ab£-`Abdull¡h!
اشْهَدُ انَّكَ كُنْتَ نُوراً فِي ٱلاصْلاَبِ ٱلشَّامِخَةِ	ashhadu annaka kunta n£ran f¢ al-a¥l¡bi alshsh¡mikhati	I bear witness that you were light in the sublime loins
وَٱلارْحَامِ ٱلْمُطَهَّرَةِ	wal-ar¦¡mi almu§ahharati	and purified wombs;
لَمْ تُنَجِّسْكَ ٱلْجَاهِلِيَّةُ بِانْجَاسِهَا	lam tunajjiska alj¡hiliyyatu bi'anj¡sih¡	the impurities of the Ignorance Era could not object you to filth
وَلَمْ تُلْبِسْكَ مِنْ مُدْلَهِمَّاتِ ثِيَابِهَا	wa lam tulbiska min mudlahimm¡ti thiy¡bih¡	nor could it dress you its murky clothes.
وَاشْهَدُ انَّكَ مِنْ دَعَائِمِ ٱلدِّينِ	wa ashhadu annaka min da`¡'imi aldd¢ni	I also bear witness that you are one of the mainstays of the religion
وَارْكَانِ ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ	wa ark¡ni almu'min¢na	and the supports of the faithful believers.
وَاشْهَدُ انَّكَ ٱلإِمَامُ ٱلْبَرُّ ٱلتَّقِيُّ	wa ashhadu annaka al-im¡mu albarru alttaqiyyu	I also bear witness that you are the God-fearing, pious,
ٱلرَّضِيُّ ٱلزَّكِيُّ	alrra¤iyyu alzzakiyyu	pleased, immaculate,
ٱلْهَادِي ٱلْمَهْدِيُّ	alh¡d¢ almahdiyyu	guide, and well-guided Imam.
وَاشْهَدُ انَّ ٱلائِمَّةَ مِنْ وُلْدِكَ كَلِمَةُ ٱلتَّقْوَىٰ	wa ashhadu anna al-a'immata min wuldika kalimatu alttaqw¡	And (I bear witness) that the Imams from your progeny are the spokesmen of piety,
وَاعْلاَمُ ٱلْهُدَىٰ	wa a`l¡mu alhud¡	the signs of guidance,
وَٱلْعُروَةُ ٱلْوُثْقَىٰ	wal`urwatu alwuthq¡	the firmest handle (of Islam),
وَٱلْحُجَّةُ عَلَىٰ اهْلِ ٱلدُّنْيَا	wal¦ujjatu `al¡ ahli aldduny¡	and the decisive Argument against the inhabitants of the world.
وَاشْهِدُ ٱللَّهَ وَمَلاَئِكَتَهُ	wa ushhidu all¡ha wa mal¡'ikatah£	And I call Allah, His angels,
وَانْبِيَاءَهُ وَرُسُلَهُ	wa anbiy¡'ah£ wa rusulah£	His Prophets, and His Messenger
انِّي بِكُمْ مُؤْمِنٌ وَبِإِيَابِكُمْ	ann¢ bikum mu'minun wa bi'y¡bikum	to witness for me that I believe in you all and in your Return,
مُوقِنٌ بِشَرَائِعِ دِينِي وَخَوَاتِيمِ عَمَلي	m£qinun bishar¡'i`i d¢n¢ wa khaw¡t¢mi `amal¢	I have full confidence in the laws of my religion and in the seals of my deeds,
وَقَلْبِي لِقَلْبِكُمْ سِلْمٌ	wa qalb¢ liqalbikum silmun	my heart is at peace with you all,
وَامْرِي لاِمْرِكُمْ مُتَّبِعٌ	wa amr¢ li'amrikum muttbi`un	and all my affairs are based on your commands.
صَلَوَاتُ اللَّهِ عَلَيْكُمْ وَعَلَىٰ ارْوَاحِكُمْ	¥alaw¡tu all¡hi `alaykum wa `al¡ arw¡¦ikum	May Allah’s benedictions be on your souls,
وَعَلَىٰ اجْسَادِكُمْ وَعَلَىٰ اجْسَامِكُمْ	wa `al¡ ajs¡dikum wa `al¡ ajs¡mikum	your bodies, your forms,
وَعَلَىٰ شَاهِدِكُمْ وَعَلَىٰ غَائِبِكُمْ	wa `al¡ sh¡hidikum wa `al¡ gh¡'ibkum	the present and the absent from you,
وَعَلَىٰ ظَاهِرِكُمْ وَعَلَىٰ بَاطِنِكُمْ	wa `al¡ ¨¡hirikum wa `al¡ b¡§inikum	and the apparent and the invisible from you.

بِابِي انْتَ وَامِّي يَا بْنَ رَسُولِ ٱللَّهِ	bi'ab¢ anta wa umm¢ yabna ras£li all¡hi	My father and mother be sacrificed for you, O son of the Messenger of Allah!
بِابِي انْتَ وَامِّي يَا ابَا عَبْدِ ٱللَّهِ	bi'ab¢ anta wa umm¢ y¡ ab¡ `abdill¡hi	My father and mother be sacrificed for you, O Ab£ `Abdull¡h!
لَقَدْ عَظُمَتِ ٱلرَّزِيَّةُ	laqad `a¨umat alrraziyyatu	Extremely terrible was the calamity
وَجَلَّتِ ٱلْمُصيبَةُ بِكَ عَلَيْنَا	wa jallat almu¥¢batu bika `alayn¡	and astounding is the misfortune that you suffered upon us
وَعَلَىٰ جَمِيعِ اهْلِ ٱلسَّمَاوَاتِ وَٱلارْضِ	wa `al¡ jam¢`i ahli alssam¡w¡ti wal-ar¤i	and upon all the inhabitants of the heavens and the earth.
فَلَعَنَ ٱللَّهُ امَّةً اسْرَجَتْ وَالْجَمَتْ	fala`ana all¡hu ummatan asrajat wa aljamat	Therefore, Allah may curse the people who saddled up, gave rein to their horses,
وَتَهَيَّاتْ لِقِتَالِكَ	wa tahayya'at liqit¡lika	and prepared themselves to kill you.
يَا مَوْلاَيَ يَا ابَا عَبْدِ ٱللَّهِ	y¡ mawl¡ya y¡ ab¡ `abdill¡hi	O my Master, O Ab£ `Abdull¡h!
قَصَدْتُ حَرَمَكَ	qa¥adtu ¦aramaka	I moved towards your sanctuary
وَاتَيْتُ إِلَىٰ مَشْهَدِكَ	wa ataytu il¡ mashhadika	and came to your shrine
اسْالُ ٱللَّهَ بِٱلشَّانِ ٱلَّذِي لَكَ عِنْدَهُ	as'alu all¡ha bilshsha'ni alladh¢ laka `indah£	beseeching Allah in the name of the standing that you enjoy with Him
وَبِٱلْمَحَلِّ ٱلَّذِي لَكَ لَدَيْهِ	wa bilma¦alli alladh¢ laka ladayhi	and the position that you occupy with Him
انْ يُصَلِّيَ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ	an yu¥alliya `al¡ mu¦ammadin wa ¡li mu¦ammadin	to send blessings on Mu¦ammad and on the Household of Mu¦ammad
وَانْ يَجْعَلَنِي مَعَكُمْ فِي ٱلدُّنْيَا وَٱلآخِرَةِ	wa an yaj`alan¢ ma`akum f¢ aldduny¡ wal-¡khirati	and to keep me with you in this world and in the Hereafter.
