bismi all¡hi ar-ra¦m¡ni ar-ra¦¢mi

In The Name Of Allah, The Beneficent, The Merciful

qul 'a`£dhu birabbi al-falaqi.

(1) Say: I seek refuge in the Lord of the dawn,

min sharri m¡ khalaqa.

(2) From the evil of what He has created,

wa min sharri gh¡siqin 'idh¡ waqaba.

(3) And from the evil of the utterly dark night when it comes,

wa min sharri an-naff¡th¡ti f¢ al-`uqadi.

(4) And from the evil of those who blow on knots,

wa min sharri ¦¡sidin 'idh¡ ¦asada.

(5) And from the evil of the envious when he envies.
