اللّهُمّ اجْعَلْ صِيَامِي فِيهِ صِيَامَ الصَّائِمِينَ،
allahumma aj`al siyamy fihi siyama alssa’imina
O Allah: on this day , (please) decide my fasting to be as same as the fasting of the true fasters,
وَقِيَامِي فِيهِ قِيَامَ القَائِمِينَ،
wa qiyamy fihi qiyama alqa’imina
And decide my acts of worships to be as same as the worship of the worshippers.
وَنَبّهْنِي فِيهِ عَنْ نَوْمَةِ الغَافِلِينَ،
wa nabbihny fihi `an nawmati alghafilina
And (please) awaken me from the slumber of the inadvertent ones.
وَهَبْ لِي جُرْمِي فِيهِ يَا إِلهَ العَالَمِينَ،
wa hab li jurmy fihi ya ilaha al`alamina
And excuse my offense on this day, O the God of the worlds.
وَاعْفُ عَنّي يَا عَافِياً عَنِ المُجْرِمِينَ.
wa`fu `anni ya `afiyan `ani almujrimina
And (please) pardon me; O He Who pardons the offender.
