In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
|
|
|
سُبْحَانَ اللّهِ بَارِئِ النّسَمِ، |
sub¦¡na all¡hi b¡ri’i alnnasami |
Glory be to Allah; the Shaper of breaths. |
|
سُبْحَانَ اللّهِ المُصَوّرِ، |
sub¦¡na all¡hi almu¥awwiri |
Glory be to Allah, the Fashioner. |
|
سُبْحَانَ اللّهِ خَالِقِ الأَزْوَاجِ كُلّهَا، |
sub¦¡na all¡hi kh¡liqi alazw¡ji kullih¡ |
Glory be to Allah, the Creator of all pairs. |
|
سُبْحَانَ اللّهِ جَاعِلِ الظّلُمَاتِ وَالنّورِ، |
sub¦¡na all¡hi j¡`ili al¨¨ulum¡ti wal-nn£ri |
Glory be to Allah, the Maker of darkness and light. |
|
سُبْحَانَ اللّهِ فَالِقِ الحَبّ وَالنّوَى، |
sub¦¡na all¡hi f¡liqi al¦abbi wal-nnaw¡ |
Glory be to Allah the Causer the grain and the stone to germinate. |
|
سُبْحَانَ اللّهِ خَالِقِ كُلّ شَيْءٍ، |
sub¦¡na all¡hi kh¡liqi kull shay‘in |
Glory be to Allah, the Creator of all things. |
|
سُبْحَانَ اللّهِ خَالِقِ مَا يُرَى وَمَا لا يُرَى، |
sub¦¡na all¡hi kh¡liqi m¡ yur¡ wa m¡ l¡ yur¡ |
Glory be to Allah, the Creator of the seen and the unseen. |
|
سُبْحَانَ اللّهِ مِدَادَ كَلِمَاتِهِ، |
sub¦¡na all¡hi mid¡da kalim¡tihi |
Glory be to Allah as much as the ink of His Words. |
|
سُبْحَانَ اللّهِ رَبّ العَالَمِينَ، |
sub¦¡na all¡hi rabb al`¡lam¢na |
Glory be to Allah, the Lord of the worlds. |
|
سُبْحَانَ اللّهِ السّمِيعِ الّذِي لَيْسَ شَيْءٌ أَسْمَعَ مِنْهُ، |
sub¦¡na all¡hi alssam¢`i alladhy laysa shay‘un asma`a minhu |
Glory be to Allah, the All-hearing; there is nothing is more hearing than He is. |
|
يَسْمَعُ مِنْ فَوْقِ عَرْشِهِ مَا تَحْتَ سَبْعِ أَرَضِينَ، |
yasma`u min fawqi `arshihi m¡ ta¦ta sab`i ara¤¢na |
He hears from above His Throne that which is under seven layers of the earth. |
|
وَيَسْمَعُ مَا فِي ظُلُمَاتِ البَرّ وَالبَحْرِ، |
wa yasma`u m¡ f¢ ¨ulum¡ti albarri wal-ba¦ri |
And He hears that which is in the murk of lands and oceans. |
|
وَيَسْمَعُ الأَنِينَ وَالشّكْوَى، |
wa yasma`u alan¢na wal-shshakw¡ |
And He hears the moaning and the complaints. |
|
وَيَسْمَعُ السّرّ وَأَخْفَى، |
wa yasma`u alssirra wa akhf¡ |
And He hears the secret and what is more veiled than secrets. |
|
وَيَسْمَعُ وَسَاوِسَ الصّدُورِ، |
wa yasma`u wa s¡£isa al¥¥ud£ri |
And He hears the inspirations of hearts. |
|
وَلا يُصِمّ سَمْعَهُ صَوْتٌ. |
wa l¡ yu¥immu sam`ahu ¥awtun |
And no sound can ever deafen His hearing. |
|

||
|
سُبْحَانَ اللّهِ بَارِئِ النّسَمِ، |
sub¦¡na all¡hi b¡ri’i alnnasami |
Glory be to Allah; the Shaper of breaths. |
|
سُبْحَانَ اللّهِ المُصَوّرِ، |
sub¦¡na all¡hi almu¥awwiri |
Glory be to Allah, the Fashioner. |
|
سُبْحَانَ اللّهِ خَالِقِ الأَزْوَاجِ كُلّهَا، |
sub¦¡na all¡hi kh¡liqi alazw¡ji kullih¡ |
Glory be to Allah, the Creator of all pairs. |
|
سُبْحَانَ اللّهِ جَاعِلِ الظّلُمَاتِ وَالنّورِ، |
sub¦¡na all¡hi j¡`ili al¨¨ulum¡ti wal-nn£ri |
Glory be to Allah, the Maker of darkness and light. |
|
سُبْحَانَ اللّهِ فَالِقِ الحَبّ وَالنّوَى، |
sub¦¡na all¡hi f¡liqi al¦abbi wal-nnaw¡ |
Glory be to Allah the Causer the grain and the stone to germinate. |
|
سُبْحَانَ اللّهِ خَالِقِ كُلّ شَيْءٍ، |
sub¦¡na all¡hi kh¡liqi kull shay‘in |
Glory be to Allah, the Creator of all things. |
|
سُبْحَانَ اللّهِ خَالِقِ مَا يُرَى وَمَا لا يُرَى، |
sub¦¡na all¡hi kh¡liqi m¡ yur¡ wa m¡ l¡ yur¡ |
Glory be to Allah, the Creator of the seen and the unseen. |
|
سُبْحَانَ اللّهِ مِدَادَ كَلِمَاتِهِ، |
sub¦¡na all¡hi mid¡da kalim¡tihi |
Glory be to Allah as much as the ink of His Words. |
|
سُبْحَانَ اللّهِ رَبّ العَالَمِينَ، |
sub¦¡na all¡hi rabb al`¡lam¢na |
Glory be to Allah, the Lord of the worlds. |
|
سُبْحَانَ اللّهِ البَصِيرِ الّذِي لَيْسَ شَيْءٌ أَبْصَرَ مِنْهُ، |
sub¦¡na all¡hi alba¥¢ri alladhy laysa shay‘un ab¥ara minhu |
Glory be to Allah, the All-seeing; there is nothing more seeing than He is. |
|
يُبْصِرُ مِنْ فَوْقِ عَرْشِهِ مَا تَحْتَ سَبْعِ أَرَضِينَ، |
yub¥iru min fawqi `arshihi m¡ ta¦ta sab`i ara¤¢na |
He sees from above His Throne that which is under seven layers of the earth. |
|
وَيُبْصِرُ مَا فِي ظُلُمَاتِ البَرّ وَالبَحْرِ، |
wa yub¥iru m¡ f¢ ¨ulum¡ti albarri wal-ba¦ri |
And He sees that which is in the murks of lands and oceans. |
|
لا تُدْرِكُهُ الأَبْصَارُ، |
l¡ tudrikuhu al-ab¥¡ru |
Visions cannot comprehend Him. |
|
وَهُوَ يُدْرِكُ الأَبْصَارَ، |
wa huwa yudriku al-ab¥¡ra |
And He comprehends all visions. |
|
وَهُوَ اللّطِيفُ الخَبِيرُ، |
wa huwa alla§¢fu alkhab¢ru |
And He is the Knower of subtleties, the Aware. |
|
وَلا تُغْشِي بَصَرَهُ الظّلْمَةُ، |
wa l¡ tughshy ba¥arahu al¨¨ulumatu |
Darkness cannot screen His sight. |
|
وَلا يُسْتَتَرُ مِنْهُ بِسِتْرٍ، |
wa l¡ yustataru minhu bisitrin |
And none can hide from Him behind any screen. |
|
وَلا يُوَارِي مِنْهُ جِدَارٌ، |
wa l¡ yw¡ry minhu jid¡run |
And no wall can ever prevent Him from seeing. |
|
وَلا يَغِيبُ عَنْهُ بَرّ وَلا بَحْرٌ، |
wa l¡ yagh¢bu `anhu barrun wa l¡ ba¦run |
And no land and no ocean can ever be absent from Him. |
|
وَلا يَكُنّ مِنْهُ جَبَلٌ مَا فِي أَصْلِهِ وَلا قَلْبٌ مَا فِيهِ، |
wa l¡ yakunnu minhu jabalun m¡ f¢ a¥lihi wa l¡ qalbun m¡ f¢hi |
And no mountain can ever conceal its root from Him or conceals its center from Him. |
|
وَلا جَنْبٌ مَا فِي قَلْبِهِ، |
wa l¡ janbun m¡ f¢ qalbihi |
And no side of it can conceal its center from Him. |
|
وَلا يَسْتَتِرُ مِنْهُ صَغِيرٌ وَلا كَبِيرٌ، |
wa l¡ yastatiru minhu ¥agh¢run wa l¡ kab¢run |
And neither big nor small thing can ever hide from Him. |
|
وَلا يَسْتَخْفِي مِنْهُ صَغِيرٌ لِصِغَرِهِ، |
wa l¡ yastakhfy minhu ¥agh¢run li¥igharihi |
And no tiny thing can ever be unseen by Him due to its smallness. |
|
وَلا يَخْفَى عَلَيْهِ شَيْءٌ فِي الأَرْضِ وَلا فِي السّمَاءِ، |
wa l¡ yakhf¡ `alayhi shay‘un f¢ alar¤i wa l¡ f¢ alssam¡‘i |
And surely nothing is hidden from Him in the earth or in the heavens. |
|
هُوَ الّذِي يُصَوّرُكُمْ فِي الأَرْحَامِ كَيْفَ يَشَاءُ |
huwa alladhy yu¥awwrukum f¢ alar¦¡mi kayfa yash¡‘u |
He it is Who fashions you in the wombs as pleases Him. |
|
لا إلهَ إلاَّ هُوَ العَزِيزُ الحَكِيمُ. |
l¡ il¡ha ill¡ huwa al`az¢zu al¦ak¢mu |
There is no god save Him, the Almighty, the Wise. |
|
3 |
||
|
سُبْحَانَ اللّهِ بَارِئِ النّسَمِ، |
sub¦¡na all¡hi b¡ri’i alnnasami |
Glory be to Allah; the Shaper of breaths. |
|
سُبْحَانَ اللّهِ المُصَوّرِ، |
sub¦¡na all¡hi almu¥awwiri |
Glory be to Allah, the Fashioner. |
|

sub¦¡na all¡hi kh¡liqi alazw¡ji kullih¡ |
Glory be to Allah, the Creator of all pairs. |

Glory be to Allah, the Creator of all things. |
|
سُبْحَانَ اللّهِ خَالِقِ مَا يُرَى وَمَا لا يُرَى، |
sub¦¡na all¡hi kh¡liqi m¡ yur¡ wa m¡ l¡ yur¡ |
Glory be to Allah, the Creator of the seen and the unseen. |
|
سُبْحَانَ اللّهِ مِدَادَ كَلِمَاتِهِ، |
sub¦¡na all¡hi mid¡da kalim¡tihi |
Glory be to Allah as much as the ink of His Words. |
|
سُبْحَانَ اللّهِ رَبّ العَالَمِينَ، |
sub¦¡na all¡hi rabb al`¡lam¢na |
Glory be to Allah, the Lord of the worlds. |
|
سُبْحَانَ اللّهِ الّذِي يُنْشِئُ السّحَابَ الثّقَالَ |
sub¦¡na all¡hi alladhy yunshiiu alssa¦¡ba alththiq¡la |
Glory be to Allah Who raises the heavy clouds. |
|
وَيُسَبّحُ الرّعْدُ بِحَمْدِهِ وَالمَلائِكَةُ مِنْ خِيفَتِهِ، |
wa yusabbi¦u alrr`du bi¦amdihi wal-mal¡’ikatu min kh¢fatihi |
And the thunder declares His glory with His praise, and the angels too for awe of Him; |
|
وَيُرْسِلُ الصّوَاعِقَ فَيُصِيبُ بِهَا مَنْ يَشَاءُ، |
wa yursilu al¥¥w¡`iqa fayu¥¢bu bih¡ man yash¡‘u |
and He sends the thunderbolts and smites with them whom He pleases, |
|
وَيُرْسِلُ الرّيَاحَ بُشْراً بَيْنَ يَدَيْ رَحْمَتِهِ، |
wa yursilu alrriy¡¦a bushran bayna yaday ra¦matihi |
And He sends forth the winds bearing good news before His mercy. |
|
وَيُنَزّلُ المَاءَ مِنَ السّمَاءِ بِكَلِمَتِهِ، |
wa yunazzlu alm¡‘a mina alssam¡‘i bikalimatihi |
And He causes water to descend from the heavens through His Word. |
|
وَيُنْبِتُ النّبَاتَ بِقُدْرَتِهِ، |
wa yunbitu alnnab¡ta biqudratihi |
And He causes plants to grow out of His power. |
|
وَيَسْقُطُ الوَرَقُ بِعِلْمِهِ، |
wa yasqu§u alwaraqu bi`ilmihi |
And leaves fall down by His knowledge. |
|
سُبْحَانَ اللّهِ الّذِي لا يَعْزُبُ عَنْهُ مِثْقَالُ ذَرّةٍ |
sub¦¡na all¡hi alladhy l¡ ya`zubu `anhu mithq¡lu dharratin |
Glory be to Allah: not the weight of an atom becomes absent from Him, |
|
فِي الأَرْضِ وَلا فِي السّمَاءِ |
f¢ alar¤i wa l¡ f¢ alssam¡‘i |
in the heavens or in the earth, |
|
وَلا أَصْغَرُ مِنْ ذلِكَ وَلا أَكْبَرُ |
wa l¡ a¥gharu min dhalika wa l¡ akbaru |
and neither less than that nor greater, |
|
إلاَّ فِي كِتَابٍ مُبِينٍ. |
ill¡ f¢ kit¡bin mub¢nin |
but (all) is in a clear book. |
|
4 |
||
|
سُبْحَانَ اللّهِ بَارِيَ النّسَمِ، |
sub¦¡na all¡hi b¡riya alnnasami |
Glory be to Allah; the Shaper of breaths. |
|
سُبْحَانَ اللّهِ المُصَوّرِ، |
sub¦¡na all¡hi almu¥awwiri |
Glory be to Allah, the Fashioner. |
|

sub¦¡na all¡hi kh¡liqi m¡ yur¡ wa m¡ l¡ yur¡ |
Glory be to Allah, the Creator of the seen and the unseen. |
|
سُبْحَانَ اللّهِ مِدَادَ كَلِمَاتِهِ، |
sub¦¡na all¡hi mid¡da kalim¡tihi |
Glory be to Allah as much as the ink of His Words. |
|
سُبْحَانَ اللّهِ رَبّ العَالَمِينَ، |
sub¦¡na all¡hi rabb al`¡lam¢na |
Glory be to Allah, the Lord of the worlds. |
|
سُبْحَانَ اللّهِ الّذِي يَعْلَمُ مَا تَحْمِلُ كُلّ أُنْثَى |
sub¦¡na all¡hi alladhy ya`lamu m¡ ta¦milu kullu ’unth¡ |
Glory be to Allah Who knows what every female bears, |
|
وَمَا تَغِيضُ الأَرْحَامُ وَمَا تَزْدَادُ |
wa m¡ tagh¢¤u alar¦¡mu wa m¡ tazd¡du |
and that of which the wombs fall short of completion and that in which they increase; |
|
وَكُلّ شَيْءٍ عِنْدَهُ بِمِقْدَارٍ |
wa kullu shay‘in `indahu bimiqd¡rin |
and there is a measure with Him of everything. |
|
عَالِمُ الغَيْبِ وَالشّهَادَةِ الكَبِيرُ المُتَعَالِ |
`¡limu alghaybi wal-shshah¡dati alkab¢ru almuta`¡li |
The knower of the unseen and the seen, the Great, the Most High. |
|
سَوَاءٌ مِنْكُمْ مَنْ أَسَرّ القَوْلَ وَمَنْ جَهَرَ بِهِ |
saw¡‘un minkum man asarr alqawla wa man jahara bihi |
Alike to Him among you is he who conceals his words and he who speaks them openly, |
|
وَمَنْ هُوَ مُسْتَخْفٍ بِاللّيْلِ وَسَارِبٌ بِالنّهَارِ |
wa man huwa mustakhfin billayli wa s¡ribun bilnnah¡ri |
and he who hides himself by night and who goes forth by day. |
|
لَهُ مُعَقّبَاتٌ مِنْ بَيْنِ يَدَيْهِ وَمِنْ خَلْفِهِ |
lahu mu`aqqib¡tun min bayni yadayhi wa min khalfihi |
For his sake, there are angels following one another, before him and behind him, |
|
يَحْفَظُونَهُ مِنْ أَمْرِ اللّهِ، |
ya¦fa¨£nahu min amri all¡hi |
who guard him by Allah's commandment. |
|
سُبْحَانَ اللّهِ الّذِي يُمِيتُ الأَحْيَاءَ وَيُحْيِي المَوْتَى |
sub¦¡na all¡hi alladhy yum¢tu ala¦y¡‘a wa yu¦y¢ almawt¡ |
Glory be to Allah Who causes the alive to die and restores the dead to life |
|
وَيَعْلَمُ مَا تَنْقُصُ الأَرْضُ مِنْهُمْ |
wa ya`lamu m¡ tanqu¥u alar¤u minhum |
And He knows indeed what the earth diminishes of them, |
|
وَيُقِرّ فِي الأَرْحَامِ مَا يَشَاءُ إلَى أَجَلٍ مُسَمَّىً. |
wa yuqirru f¢ alar¦¡mi m¡ yash¡‘u il¡ ajalin musamman |
And He causes what We please to stay in the wombs till an appointed time. |

|
سُبْحَانَ اللّهِ بَارِيَ النّسَمِ، |
sub¦¡na all¡hi b¡ri’a alnnasami |
Glory be to Allah; the Shaper of breaths. |
|
سُبْحَانَ اللّهِ المُصَوّرِ، |
sub¦¡na all¡hi almu¥awwiri |
Glory be to Allah, the Fashioner. |
|

sub¦¡na all¡hi kh¡liqi m¡ yur¡ wa m¡ l¡ yur¡ |
Glory be to Allah, the Creator of the seen and the unseen. |
|
سُبْحَانَ اللّهِ مِدَادَ كَلِمَاتِهِ، |
sub¦¡na all¡hi mid¡da kalim¡tihi |
Glory be to Allah as much as the ink of His Words. |
|
سُبْحَانَ اللّهِ رَبّ العَالَمِينَ، |
sub¦¡na all¡hi rabbi al`¡lam¢na |
Glory be to Allah, the Lord of the worlds. |
|
سُبْحَانَ اللّهِ مَالِكِ المُلْكِ، |
sub¦¡na all¡hi m¡liki almulki |
Glory be to Allah, Master of the Kingdom! |
|
تُؤْتِي المُلْكَ مَنْ تَشَاءُ، |
tu´ty almulka man tash¡‘u |
You give the kingdom to whomsoever You please |
|
وَتَنْزِعُ المُلْكَ مِمّنْ تَشَاءُ، |
wa tanzi`u almulka mimman tash¡‘u |
and take away the kingdom from whomsoever You please, |
|
وَتُعِزّ مَنْ تَشَاءُ، |
wa tu`izzu man tash¡‘u |
and You exalt whom You please |
|
وَتُذِلّ مَنْ تَشَاءُ، |
wa tudhillu man tash¡‘u |
and abase whom You please |
|
بِيَدِكَ الخَيْرُ، |
biyadika alkhayru |
in You hand is the good; |
|
إنّكَ عَلَى كُلّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ، |
innaka `al¡ kulli shay‘in qad¢run |
Surely, You have power over all things. |
|
تُولِجُ اللّيْلَ فِي النّهَارِ، |
t£liju allayla f¢ alnnah¡ri |
You make the night to pass into the day |
|
وَتُولِجُ النّهَارَ فِي اللّيْلِ، |
wa t£liju alnnah¡ra f¢ allayli |
and You make the day to pass into the night, |
|
وَتُخْرِجُ الحَيّ مِنَ المَيّتِ، |
wa tukhriju al¦ayya mina almayyiti |
and You bring forth the living from the dead |
|
وَتُخْرِجُ المَيّتَ مِنَ الحَيّ، |
wa tukhriju almayyita mina al¦ayyi |
and You bring forth the dead from the living, |
|
وَتَرْزُقُ مَنْ تَشَاءُ بِغَيْرِ حِسَابٍ. |
wa tarzuqu man tash¡‘u bighayri ¦is¡bin |
and You give sustenance to whom You please without measure. |
|

||
|
سُبْحَانَ اللّهِ بَارِيَ النّسَمِ، |
sub¦¡na all¡hi b¡riya alnnasami |
Glory be to Allah; the Shaper of breaths. |
|
سُبْحَانَ اللّهِ المُصَوّرِ، |
sub¦¡na all¡hi almu¥awwiri |
Glory be to Allah, the Fashioner. |
|

sub¦¡na all¡hi kh¡liqi alazw¡ji kullih¡ |
Glory be to Allah, the Creator of all pairs. |

sub¦¡na all¡hi f¡liqi al¦abbi wal-nnaw¡ |
Glory be to Allah the Causer the grain and the stone to germinate. |
|
سُبْحَانَ اللّهِ خَالِقِ كُلّ شَيْءٍ، |
sub¦¡na all¡hi kh¡liqi kulli shay‘in |
Glory be to Allah, the Creator of all things. |

سُبْحَانَ اللّهِ خَالِقِ مَا يُرَى وَمَا لا يُرَى، |
sub¦¡na all¡hi kh¡liqi m¡ yur¡ wa m¡ l¡ yur¡ |
Glory be to Allah, the Creator of the seen and the unseen. |
|
سُبْحَانَ اللّهِ مِدَادَ كَلِمَاتِهِ، |
sub¦¡na all¡hi mid¡da kalim¡tihi |
Glory be to Allah as much as the ink of His Words. |
|
سُبْحَانَ اللّهِ رَبّ العَالَمِينَ، |
sub¦¡na all¡hi rabbi al`¡lam¢na |
Glory be to Allah, the Lord of the worlds. |
|
سُبْحَانَ اللّهِ الّذِي عِنْدَهُ مَفَاتِحُ الغَيْبِ |
sub¦¡na all¡hi alladhy `indahu maf¡ti¦u alghaybi |
Glory be to Allah with Who are the keys of the unseen treasures |
|
لا يَعْلَمُهَا إلاَّ هُوَ |
l¡ ya`lamuh¡ ill¡ huwa |
none knows them but He; |
|
وَيَعْلَمُ مَا فِي البَرّ وَالبَحْرِ |
wa ya`lamu m¡ f¢ albarri wal-ba¦ri |
and He knows what is in the land and the sea, |
|
وَمَا تَسْقُطُ مِنْ وَرَقَةٍ إلاَّ يَعْلَمُهَا |
wa m¡ tasqu§u min waraqatin ill¡ ya`lamuh¡ |
and there falls not a leaf but He knows it, |
|
وَلا حَبّةٍ فِي ظُلُمَاتِ الأَرْضِ |
wa l¡ ¦abbatin f¢ ¨ulum¡ti alar¤i |
nor a grain in the darkness of the earth, |
|
وَلا رَطْبٍ وَلا يَابِسٍ إلاَّ فِي كِتَابٍ مُبِينٍ. |
wa l¡ ra§bin wa l¡ y¡bisin ill¡ f¢ kit¡bin mub¢nin |
nor anything green nor dry but it is all in a clear book. |

|
سُبْحَانَ اللّهِ بَارِيَ النّسَمِ، |
sub¦¡na all¡hi b¡riya alnnasami |
Glory be to Allah; the Shaper of breaths. |
|
سُبْحَانَ اللّهِ المُصَوّرِ، |
sub¦¡na all¡hi almu¥awwiri |
Glory be to Allah, the Fashioner. |
|
سُبْحَانَ اللّهِ خَالِقِ الأَزْوَاجِ كُلّهَا، |
sub¦¡na all¡hi kh¡liqi alazw¡ji kullih¡ |
Glory be to Allah, the Creator of all pairs. |
|
سُبْحَانَ اللّهِ جَاعِلِ الظّلُمَاتِ وَالنّورِ، |
sub¦¡na all¡hi j¡`ili al¨¨ulum¡ti wal-nn£ri |
Glory be to Allah, the Maker of darkness and light. |
|
سُبْحَانَ اللّهِ فَالِقِ الحَبّ وَالنّوَى، |
sub¦¡na all¡hi f¡liqi al¦abbi wal-nnaw¡ |
Glory be to Allah the Causer the grain and the stone to germinate. |
|
سُبْحَانَ اللّهِ خَالِقِ كُلّ شَيْءٍ، |
sub¦¡na all¡hi kh¡liqi kulli shay‘in |
Glory be to Allah, the Creator of all things. |
|
سُبْحَانَ اللّهِ خَالِقِ مَا يُرَى وَمَا لا يُرَى، |
sub¦¡na all¡hi kh¡liqi m¡ yur¡ wa m¡ l¡ yur¡ |
Glory be to Allah, the Creator of the seen and the unseen. |
|
سُبْحَانَ اللّهِ مِدَادَ كَلِمَاتِهِ، |
sub¦¡na all¡hi mid¡da kalim¡tihi |
Glory be to Allah as much as the ink of His Words. |
|
سُبْحَانَ اللّهِ رَبّ العَالَمِينَ، |
sub¦¡na all¡hi rabbi al`¡lam¢na |
Glory be to Allah, the Lord of the worlds. |
|
سُبْحَانَ اللّهِ الّذِي لا يُحْصِي مِدْحَتَهُ القَائِلُونَ، |
sub¦¡na all¡hi alladhy l¡ yu¦¥y mid¦atahu alq¡’il£na |
Glory be to Allah; no speaker can ever declare His actual praiseworthiness, |
|
وَلا يَجْزِي بِآلائِهِ الشَّاكِرُونَ العَابِدُونَ، |
wa l¡ yajzy bi-¡l¡’ihi alshsh¡kir£na al`¡bid£na |
And all the thankful ones and the worshippers cannot thank Him adequately for His (innumerable) bounties. |
|
وَهُوَ كَمَا قَالَ وَفَوْقَ مَا نَقُولُ، |
wa huwa kam¡ q¡la wa fawqa m¡ naq£lu |
And He is as same as He has described Himself and above whatever we say about Him. |
|
وَاللّهُ سُبْحَانَهُ كَمَا أَثْنَى عَلَى نَفْسِهِ، |
wall¡hu sub¦¡nahu kam¡ athn¡ `al¡ nafsihi |
And Allah, the Glorified, is as same as He has praised Himself, by saying: |
|
وَلا يُحِيطُونَ بِشَيْءٍ مِنْ عِلْمِهِ إلاَّ بِمَا شَاءَ |
wa l¡ yu¦¢§£na bishay‘in min `ilmihi ill¡ bim¡ sh¡‘a |
and they cannot comprehend anything out of His knowledge except what He pleases, |
|
وَسِعَ كُرْسِيّهُ السّمَاوَاتِ وَالأَرْضَ |
wasi`a kursiyyuhu alssam¡w¡ti wal-ar¤a |
His knowledge extends over the heavens and the earth, |
|
وَلا يَؤُودُهُ حِفْظُهُمَا وَهُوَ العَلِيّ العَظِيمُ. |
wa l¡ ya’u´£duhu ¦if¨uhum¡ wa huwa al`aliyyu al`a¨¢mu |
and the preservation of them both tires Him not, and He is the Most High, the Great. |
|

|
سُبْحَانَ اللّهِ بَارِيَ النّسَمِ، |

Glory be to Allah, the Creator of all pairs. |
|
سُبْحَانَ اللّهِ جَاعِلِ الظّلُمَاتِ وَالنّورِ، |
sub¦¡na all¡hi j¡`ili al¨¨ulum¡ti wal-nn£ri |
Glory be to Allah, the Maker of darkness and light. |
|
سُبْحَانَ اللّهِ فَالِقِ الحَبّ وَالنّوَى، |
sub¦¡na all¡hi f¡liqi al¦abbi wal-nnaw¡ |
Glory be to Allah the Causer the grain and the stone to germinate. |

sub¦¡na all¡hi kh¡liqi kulli shay‘in |
Glory be to Allah, the Creator of all things. |

Glory be to Allah, the Lord of the worlds. |

سُبْحَانَ اللّهِ الّذِي يَعْلَمُ مَا يَلِجُ فِي الأَرْضِ وَمَا يَخْرُجُ مِنْهَا، |
sub¦¡na all¡hi alladhy ya`lamu m¡ yaliju f¢ alar¤i wa m¡ yakhruju minh¡ |
Glory be to Allah knows that which goes down into the earth and that which comes out of it, |
|
وَمَا يَنْزِلُ مِنَ السّمَاءِ وَمَا يَعْرُجُ فِيهَا، |
wa m¡ yanzilu mina alssam¡‘i wa m¡ ya`ruju f¢h¡ |
And knows that which comes down from the heaven and that which goes up to it; |
|
وَلا يَشْغَلُهُ مَا يَلِجُ فِي الأَرْضِ وَمَا يَخْرُجُ مِنْهَا |
wa l¡ yashghaluhu m¡ yaliju f¢ alar¤i wa m¡ yakhruju minh¡ |
And that which goes down into the earth does not occupy Him |
|
عَمَّا يَنْزِلُ مِنَ السّمَاءِ وَمَا يَعْرُجُ فِيهَا، |
`amm¡ yanzilu mina alssam¡‘i wa m¡ ya`ruju f¢h¡ |
from that which comes down from the heavens and that which goes up to it, |
|
وَلا يَشْغَلُهُ مَا يَنْزِلُ مِنَ السّمَاءِ وَمَا يَعْرُجُ فِيهَا |
wa l¡ yashghaluhu m¡ yanzilu mina alssam¡‘i wa m¡ ya`ruju f¢h¡ |
And that which comes down from the heavens and that which goes up to it does not occupy Him |
|
عمَّا يَلِجُ فِي الأَرْضِ وَمَا يَخْرُجُ مِنْهَا، |
`mm¡ yaliju f¢ alar¤i wa m¡ yakhruju minh¡ |
From that which goes down into the earth and that which comes out of it, |
|
وَلا يَشْغَلُهُ عِلْمُ شَيْءٍ عَنْ عِلْمِ شَيْءٍ، |
wa l¡ yashghaluhu `ilmu shay‘in `an `ilmi shay‘in |
And the knowledge of anything does not occupy Him from the knowledge of something else, |
|
وَلا يَشْغَلُهُ خَلْقُ شَيْءٍ عَنْ خَلْقِ شَيْءٍ، |
wa l¡ yashghaluhu khalqu shay‘in `an khalqi shay‘in |
And the creation of anything does not occupy Him from the creation of something else, |
|
وَلا حِفْظُ شَيْءٍ عَنْ حِفْظِ شَيْءٍ، |
wa l¡ ¦if¨u shay‘in `an ¦if¨i shay‘in |
And the preservation of anything does not occupy Him from the preservation of something else, |
|
وَلا يُسَاوِيهِ شَيْءٌ، |
wa l¡ yus¡w¢hi shay‘un |
And nothing is equal to Him, |
|
وَلا يَعْدِلُهُ شَيْءٌ، |
wa l¡ ya`diluhu shay‘un |
And nothing is His match, |
|
لَيْسَ كَمِثْلِهِ شَيْءٌ، |
laysa kamithlihi shay‘un |
And nothing is like Him, |
|
وَهُوَ السّمِيعُ البَصِيرُ. |
wa huwa alssam¢`u alba¥¢ru |
And He is the All-hearing, the All-seeing. |

|

Glory be to Allah, the Lord of the worlds. |
|
سُبْحَانَ اللّهِ فَاطِرِ السّمَاوَاتِ وَالأَرْضِ |
sub¦¡na all¡hi f¡§iri alssam¡w¡ti wal-ar¤i |
Glory be to Allah; the Originator of the heavens and the earth, |
|
جَاعِلِ المَلائِكَةِ رُسُلاً أُولِي أَجْنِحَةٍ |
j¡`ili almal¡’ikati rusulan awly ajni¦atin |
the Maker of the angels, messengers flying on wings, |
|
مَثْنَى وَثُلاثَ وَرُبَاعَ |
mathn¡ wa thul¡tha wa rub¡`a |
two, and three, and four; |
|
يَزِيدُ فِي الخَلْقِ مَا يَشَاءُ |
yaz¢du f¢ alkhalqi m¡ yash¡‘u |
He increases in creation what He pleases; |
|
إنّ اللّهَ عَلَى كُلّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ، |
inna all¡ha `al¡ kulli shay‘in qad¢run |
Surely, Allah has power over all things. |
|
مَا يَفْتَحِ اللّهُ لِلنَّاسِ مِنْ رَحْمَةٍ فَلا مُمْسِكَ لَهَا |
m¡ yafta¦i all¡hu lilnn¡si min ra¦matin fal¡ mumsika lah¡ |
Whatever Allah grants to men of His mercy, there is none to withhold it, |
|
وَمَا يُمْسِكْ فَلا مُرْسِلَ لَهُ مِنْ بَعْدِهِ |
wa m¡ yumsik fal¡ mursila lahu min ba`dihi |
and what He withholds there is none to send it forth after that, |
|
وَهُوَ العَزِيزُ الحَكِيمُ. |
wa huwa al`az¢zu al¦ak¢mu |
and He is the Mighty, the Wise. |
|

|

sub¦¡na all¡hi kh¡liqi m¡ yur¡ wa m¡ l¡ yur¡ |
Glory be to Allah, the Creator of the seen and the unseen. |
|
سُبْحَانَ اللّهِ مِدَادَ كَلِمَاتِهِ، |
sub¦¡na all¡hi mid¡da kalim¡tihi |
Glory be to Allah as much as the ink of His Words. |
|
سُبْحَانَ اللّهِ رَبّ العَالَمِينَ، |
sub¦¡na all¡hi rabbi al`¡lam¢na |
Glory be to Allah, the Lord of the worlds. |
|
سُبْحَانَ اللّهِ الّذِي يَعْلَمُ مَا فِي السّمَاوَاتِ وَمَا فِي الأَرْضِ |
sub¦¡na all¡hi alladhy ya`lamu m¡ f¢ alssam¡w¡ti wa m¡ f¢ alar¤i |
Glory be to Allah Who knows whatever is in the heavens and whatever is in the earth. |
|
مَا يَكُونُ مِنْ نَجْوَى ثَلاثَةٍ إلاَّ هُوَ رَابِعُهُمْ |
m¡ yak£nu min naj£ thal¡thatin ill¡ huwa r¡bi`uhum |
Nowhere is there a secret counsel between three persons but He is the fourth of them, |
|
وَلا خَمْسَةٍ إلاَّ هُوَ سَادِسُهُمْ |
wa l¡ khamsatin ill¡ huwa s¡disuhum |
nor (between) five but He is the sixth of them, |
|
وَلا أَدْنَى مِنْ ذلِكَ وَلا أَكْثَرَ إلاَّ هُوَ مَعَهُمْ أَيْنَمَا كَانُوَا |
wa l¡ adn¡ min dhalika wa l¡ akthara ill¡ huwa ma`ahum aynam¡ k¡n£ |
nor less than that nor more but He is with them wherever they are; |
|
ثُمّ يُنَبّئُهُمْ بِمَا عَمِلُوَا يَوْمَ القِيَامَةِ |
thumma yunabbi’uhum bim¡ `amil£ yawma alqiy¡mati |
then He will inform them of what they did on the Day of Resurrection: |
|
إنّ اللّهَ بِكُلّ شَيْءٍ عَلِيمٌ. |
inna all¡ha bikull shay‘in `al¢mun |
surely Allah is Cognizant of all things. |
